I've heard talk before that the members here will be monitored and that if we go for a while without being centaurs that we will be kicked out. Is that true?
If it is, let me just say, that I don't find that to be very fair. Centaurs are not beings that stay only with each other. So why should we? Let us have human avatars if we choose. I mean, my character will be a centaur regardless of how my avatar looks. I just simply like to change my avatar.
All I ask, is that you allow us to have human avatars if we choose. Let this be a guild for centaur avvies, centaur RP characters, and centaur lovers and people who don't neccessarily want a centaur avvy. Let us all be equal. Humans and centaurs alike.
Please consider these words. Thank you.

I'm sure you can be whatever the heck you want as long as you revert to a centaur at some point :-3 so don't worry so much. 3nodding

Well that kind of defeats the purpose of a "Centaur Only" guild, does it not? :'P

It seems kinda foolish to make it so that only people with centaur avatars can be a part of everything. We should be able to have human avatars if we so choose. Avatars shouldn't make a difference with anything.

Well, seeing as the guild was founded on centaur avatars, I believe it makes quite a big difference. :'P After all, we're based on the pride of being a centaur, being set apart from other Gaians, we share a common unity. Think of it as a gimmick. Without it, we're just another guild. Without the centaur pride that compelled you to join this guild, what do you have left here?

Asynja Frigg Well that kind of defeats the purpose of a "Centaur Only" guild, does it not? :'P Asynja does have a point, why not just make a mule account and make your human avatar on it razz

True this is a centaur only guild.. but that's getting a bit excessively elitist.
I myself have several human outfits that I'd like to rotate in every now and then.
And besides. I have a centaur RP char for the guild, and (later) for Hoof.
@Jer - what's the fun of dressing up a mule if nobody looks at it? I'll never catch myself saying "hey check out my mule, it's what I wanted on my main account except this guild I'm in won't allow me to stay if I don't have a centaur avatar."

It's like Grombies except worse and more of a choice than circumstance.
I've liked this guild a lot since it sprang up but if it actually comes down to a dispute over your avatar's appearance then it's going too far. I originally thought this guild was formed by a united interest in centaurs, which was helped along by the release of the centaur skins.
We're (or at least some of us are) RPing our centaur original chars, not our avatars.

I just like the fact we're different and part of something unique, and I don't want the guild to become overrun with non-centaurs. It's not elitest, it's following a theme. It would just kill the theme if everyone were to start joining up. It's like someone who wants to be a doorknob salesmen in an RP about mermaids. u_u

I see the points of both arguments, but for future members that want to join because of interest in centaurs but do not ever wish to be one can simply join one of the many other centaur guilds. I mean, they're welcome to have a mule centaur (like myself). And if money's the problem there is quite a large amount of members willing to give out potions to anyone in need.
I don't want to sound as though I'm looking down on people in this situation or come off as mean, I just wanted to point out a few things and/or options.
EDIT: Please don't take anything I said personal. It's just my opinion on the matter. Nothing I say here will change how this guild is run. :<

I read: if you don't like the rules, then go somewhere else. The Herd won't change its rules for you.
I have mules, but I don't use them for anything aside from reserving names. Too much hassle to dress all of them up AND check mail/forum/guild on more than 1 char.
