Sometime in the 1700's...

The small village was filled with fear...of the child just born. They screamed 'It is a demon' and 'KILL IT!!!',never giving the child a chance.It's cries were meaningless to the commoners around.The infant's mother slain by the men and it on the run with the pack elder. As they finally slowed to a stop,far from the village,the wolf put the infant down as it cried for the warmth of it's mother.The wolf licked the infant and did all it could to keep it safe and warm.As the child grew,it moved from town to town,living off handouts that few people were nice enough to give.Surprizingly,the child survived to almost adulthood.At the age of 17,the child had grew into a young woman.But with the feminine body came those who sought to ruin it.Men from the villages now stalked her into alleys,forcing her to defend herself or call the wolf that was her protector.

At one such case,as it was five men at least seeking to rape then kill her,she ran into the woods...searching for her protector,only to come upon a bloodied corpse.She dropped to her knees in agony of seeing the closest thing to family lying at her feet in the moss and leaves.She turned around,now drenched in blood,and faced the upcoming men.Her eyes bright yellow and red tinted with rage.

Before anyone knew what had happened,five new corpses lay sprawled across the forest floor.And the girl sat drenched in new blood,clinging to the dead wolf,wondering who had done this.A new scent was on the air...one that at the time burned her nose.She examined the body of her Elder to find claw marks.Another animal?She thought...but these were no animal marks.They were strangely similar to human...even the scent was similar to a human.

This girl had lost her only family and was now left alone...in the woods by her Elder with a horrible stench in her nose...This little half wolf monstosity,she thought.She wondered why her mother had even decided to have her.She was mad at her mother,though she never knew her.The pack elder was all she had for he was the only one who would have her...the rest of the pack turning their noses away.The stench once again filled her nose,and within seconds,a body flew towards her.Dead!Only half a corpse.It knocked her off balance and landed her,vulnerable on the ground.Then he appeared.

He was tall,pale,human-like,but his face and hands were blood coated.And his teeth were not unlike hers...pointed,sharp.He did not hesitate,he apparently was hungry and he flew at her,pinning her,digging his claws into her skin.She cried out in pain...this was the cause for all her pain,she knew it.This was why her Elder wolf did not come to rescue her.Before she could think,his fangs bore into her neck,but instead of drinking,ripping out her throat,he jumped back and spit.

"Vile half-breed" He muttered,"Abomination!"He spat and attacked again,this time with his claws...only meaning to kill,not eat.She jumped away her eyes suddenly bright yellow once again and her claws and fangs extending.She blocked as well as she could,but she was weak and no match for him,she thought.She was badly wounded,as of being bitten,clawed,and nearly blinded.She looked up at him as he prepared the final strike...to end it all.Just at the last second,she grabed the fallen branch beside her and speared him in his chest....but didn't stop pushing.He cried out as she pushed him to the ground,ramming the branch into the dirt.Pinning him there.She jumped over him and ran deeper into the forest.She knew he was not dead,but she was in no shape to face him again.She ran as far as she could,until she collapsed and all went black...

When she awoke...she felt strange...not quite herself.The stench no longer filled her nose.It was still night...or maybe it was the next night.She stumbled throught the opening ahead of her and into the village.It was abandoned...or maybe it was a victim of that horrid creature.She found a house...small...with a mirror and looked at herself.She had pale skin,very much like the creature that attacked her...but she also found she could control certain parts of her wolf.She was still the wolf,but now she was also part...she didn't know what to call it...

2008 Gaia

She had learned to control every aspect of herself.She could even appear human to the naked eye.And with her new power,she had some sort of allure about her.She found that since that night,she hardly had trouble finding shelter or food...she had learned to respect herself.But wandering the world had taken a toll on her.She longed for a family again...a home.

One day...when the moon was high and red...she came across an angel.At least in her eyes,an angel.She told her of the House of Revenants...of the place where they were not judgemental and cared for all.She thought back to the creature that night and compared him with her.She was the same...yet different.So she went with her...to the House of Revenants.And there she found happiness.She even came to be known as Eldest Sister and was loved by all her brothers and sisters.She was loved by her Father and by her new "Mother".She had a home...a place where she felt she belonged.A place among these new...good "vampires".She learned what they were called and why they were different.

When asked her name...she replied simply: Kita...Kita of Revenants...
