 The slender, playful male twisted through the trees in the warm twilight. He splashed through a stream; relishing the feel of the cool water on his dark legs and lapping over his hooves. He ran along the stream bed a little way before twisting through the trees. Then he returned to the stream; galloping up it until he reached a pool.
The water was clear; white pebbles on the bottom gleaming in the half-light. He let out a whinney; running straight into it until it reached his knees and he was forced to wade. Then he slowed; taking a mouthful of water before making his way to the shallower water.

A toned, sandy coloured mare grazed east of the pool in a thick, lush meadow. Her back was arched as she lowered her head to tear up mouthfuls of the long grass; the vegetation waving gently in the breeze and concealing most of her body.
She'd picked up the faint sound of someone trashing about in the distance but paid little attention to it, hoping they'd soon clear off and let her browse in peace.
It'd been a while since Irene had had any other contact with another Unisus, she had not even spoken to her own Mother, for one reason or another. She was intrigued at who this nearby stranger was, but nonetheless, did not leave the meadow and remained hidden.

Bored of his pool and a little tired from his running, Niru started walking upstream; at a steady pace, his head and wings high. His short, dark mane was tousled by the wind; and he savoured the feeling.
He would sleep soon; and he would enjoy the rest. But first... He searched for a place to graze. He could see a meadow; the grass appeared lush, and there were many wildflowers. Perfect.
Only one thing on his mind, Niru ignored the other pegasus and bent his head to the grass as soon as his hooves stepped onto the lush grass. It was as wonderful as he had imagined it to be.
