I love both of these stories!!!>.< I believe they're offical stories from Square Enix to explain What happened between FFVII and FFVII:AC if I remember correctly, and I wasn't sure if anyone has put up the links to them so please tell me if they're arleady here and I'll remove them. Yeah, the Tifa bit is from the AC novel that is given with the collectors edition of the movie - that novel made me adore Tifa and see her in a completely different light. It really paints how pained she is, and how strong she has to be - what little faith she actually has but how it doesn't matter either way.

eh there have been rumors for that for YEARS and I never let myself believe them until I saw that demo thing recently so now I don't know what to think!

Well, SquareEnix turned Cloud Emo for monnies, so I don't see why they can't make a remake. It'd bring in SO MUCH MONEY for them. P:
So it's not a question of "if" to me. It's a question of "when". (Stolen from Clan Dragoon ;o )

Yay! Gotta love the short novels. However, since "The Maiden" was written by someone else other than the original staff....it may be unofficial. In the recent Ultimania, they didn't even mention "The Maiden." Just some info to throw in there.

No, "The Maiden" was written by someone other than the staff members. I forgot his name.....Ben Matsu-whatever. However, they did say that the staff "carefully" supervised him writing the novel. Still, it was written by someone other than the usual staff. Not that I mind.

And I'm betting that argument is what all the Cloud/Tifa fans throw at the Aeris/Cloud fans when that "love" line comes up - isn't it? lol

It is completely a question of when and I have sources to believe that it's already being made. But sense we're looking at a release date of 09 - 10 for XIII, Seven is a ways off.
But it'll be worth it.
Tifa's breasts will finally get the pixle ratio they deserve! XD

I'm actually hoping they don't remake it. I'm perfectly content READING what they say, not listening to some of their bad voices. Like Aerith and Sephiroth. I don't like their voices. In fact, I rather hate them.
Unless there's an option to change the dialogue to Japanese with English subtitles, I say NO to remake.
