 The sun had just peaked it's highest causing any tree to seemingly loose its shadow. Up above, the sky was so clear a blue it was like a perfect reflection of the clear lakes around the area. Occasionally birds would fly overhead with some small twig or blade in their mouths to prepare a nice nest for their significant other.
Roy slowly traveled through the light meadows of Mothare enjoying the breeze and how it made the long soft grass seem like an ocean. It was relaxing, and it was in his security that no one was around that he let his outward appearance show this with a smile and plenty of deep breaths. His head was held high so he would be able to look over the tall grass and take in the view. Ears were perked and listening for anyone that may approach him. So he would be ready to defend or at very least look threatening so they would leave him alone. This was a forigen place to him, most his time had been spent in the mountains since he was spirited away.

 The bright sun, and gentle breeze, birds flying overhead... Katsumi glared up at the sky days like this were hardly fun especially when there was no one around. Katsumi walked through the edge of the trees, just outside was a large meadow with a vast sea of grasses.
Hey! There was another kitsu there Katsumi grinned mischievously Maybe she could have some fun finally! She smiled happily she just had to wait for a bit. She was quite well of doing silent spells too... He'd never figure out so maybe she didn't have to wait OR pull her want out.
She smirked stepping out into the full glare of the sun today might not be boring after all…
With a smile she approached the kitsu “Good day” she said aloud then silently within her mind said the charm Tarantallegra, unless somehow he was immune to magic it would make him dance much to her amusement. ((I got it from here --> http://www.pojo.com/harrypotter/spelist.shtml If your curious))

 Roy could hear the steps of another Kistu coming his way. And like a bird the smile quickly vanished and was replaced with an angered look. Eyebrows furrowed and mouth straight as he glared in the direction of the noise. His ears also lowered giving him the appearance he wanted, dangerous.
"Tch..."
Roy thought about just walking away from this woman. He wasn't in the mood right now for tricks and scaring this Kitsu. Maybe if they bumped paths again.
But just as he begun to turn around his body felt tingly. In an instant he was off the ground dancing. It looked as if he were in combat with an inviable enemy. Every movement was quick and unpredictable.
"?!" His eyes were wide with confusion as to what just took place.

“My, my whats with that face? I swear you were just smiling a minute ago.” She said with a slight mischievous air.
Ohhhh well didn't he look angry like he wanted to scare someone away that or just keep others away. He wasn't quite stoic like her brother in law but still. Those trying to get away from others are usually more fun to play with. Katsumi stayed a decent pace away.
She smiled pretending to be innocent "What are you doing sir?" she inquired knowing what was going on. "Is there someone there?" Katsumi looked around but still keeping an eye on her 'victim.'
Katsumi gave him a confused look and thought Finite Incantatum to stop the spell. it would defiantly take a while she thought.

Roy had to come up with something quick so that he wouldn't looks so bad in front of this other Kitsu. Especially because it was a girl.
"I'm Trainin'!" He huffed in a tone that was none to friendly. "An' no there 'aint no one around."
When the spell came to a stop he finished off his "training" with a two legged stance ( as best a Kitsu could manage) than plopped back down to all fours. ) His fur was puffed out a bit showing his irritation of the situation.

Katsumi laughed a bit "Training really? Well isn't that intresting." she said laughing silently "Unfortunately I'm only a girl after all; I'm not good at any of that stuff." Katsumi said watching his ridiculous two legged finish and the grunting and the excuses. That WAS funny! Still he was trying to ward her off…
The mischievous witch wondered what this quiet grunmpy kitsu would think about his suddenly loud voice. Sonorus another non verbal spell.
“Well what’s up with your attitude?” she inquired with attitude of her own.

Roy huffed. Something didn't seem right about this chick. Roy looked at her for a moment, trying to figure out what her game was. He was still unaware that she was casting spells on him. He was used to Rune magic, but he was usually not the one to use it and it was a different level than this.
"Just c-" He paused mid word, his eyes widened. Again?! A weird feeling had come over his mouth and voice box. That was loud! He didn't remember wanting to yell.
He glared at the Witch, now very suspicious. "What's your game?" Roy spoke in an unwillingly loud voice.

"Oh Why are you yellin?" she asked taking a step back She nearly laughed watching him hold back his words and realizing that something had been going on.
Changing her expression to one of her norm she grinned. "What?" she said laughing Oh she had better fix his voice before some one else hears she reminded herself mentally. Reaching into her kimono she laughed again.
"Umm let me think, I really don't have a game" she said with a wink of her green eyes "I just think this is so darned funny!" She added "besides your hilarious Mr. grumpy!"
The trick she had played was fairly mild. She had to get a few more things from her secret stash before going out again. This boy had just happened to catch her at a good time seeing as she had run out of tricks besides those of the wand.
"Oh yeah I nearly forgot about you! Finite Incantatum" she said aloud this time and with a wave of her wand. "All fixed." with a swish of her three elegant tails she flashed a real mischievous smile; she was one whom loved pure mischief. It was SOOO much better when her family wasn't around.

Mr. Grumpy? Lyon, the crush of his life, had called him that before. Oddly enough it was that that nick name that kept him from yelling at her some more. A mischievous grin equal to hers rolled across his mouth.
"Ooh, I see. You're one of them rune holders. I heard bout 'em. Fought with a bunch of them a while back." He grinned, thinking he had this one down. A plan for a good get back already forming in him mind. He had dealt with Prince Edan may times without getting exploded by the dawn rune.
"Corse, all the ones I saw didn't use it for nothing."

Katsumi had prepared for more arguing even as an adult she got a grin from continuing an argument she hadn't even noticed the reaction to the nick name 'Mr. Grumpy'. The mischievous grin that spread across his face intrigued her more.
"Ohhhh what’s that grin for." she smirked taking a leap back. What was he plotting in return? She suddenly thought. This might be more fun after all... especially if he could play too.
"A Rune holder? Nawwww" she said "Never heard of rune holders before. I'm just your average witch who casts spell." Course she wasn't average, she was a prodigy. She had made up her own spells and excelled at everything in magic... except potion making the only thing she was average in. Course she always enjoyed testing random potions on people too.
"Hey what's your name?" she asked with a grin. "Or do I have to keep callin you Mr. Grumpy?"

Roy was surprised his insult had rolled off her just like that. He kept that to himself though. As his insult he let the first question she asked go unanswered.
He was a little confused with a witch that didn't use runes. And again he didn't let this show. He now had a little more knowledge of the situation. Just a little. His comeback would have to be smooth and careful.
Roy's nose wrinkled as she said it again. "the name's Roy. And your's is..? Or should I just call you sweetie?"

A reaction to Mr. Grumpy? Katsumi finally noticed she'd have to keep that in mind if she ever met him again.
"It's Katsumi," she said simply ignoring his few insults once again, and besides it wasn't like she expected an answer to her first question anyway. Getting angry wouldn't do her any good here. And he was up to something; she'd need a clear head to counter what ever that was.
Katsumi glanced to her wand that was still in her paw; gently she placed it back in her Kimono belt. She glanced at Roy's attire quickly. "And what might you be?" she inquired "You not a spell caster, you’re too scrawny and aren’t wearing enough amours to be a warrior..." leaving one option. Thief. Katsumi's eyebrow rose.

"Scrawny? Look toots, Just caus' I ain't wearin' big slow bulky armor don't mean I'm not a warrior!" Which honestly he wasn't competely one. An Actor, warrior and the occasional pick pocket/trickster was Roy's trade. "I can run circles around them."
"In any case it's none of your busyness what I do." His own eyebrow rose and his expression mimicked her perfectly.

"Well you are scrawny" Katsumi said as a matter o' factly. She didn't dispute the fact he most likely could run circles around them. Was he copying her just to throw her off? Katsumi wasn't sure.
Katsumi shrugged "Well I was just guessing" she said with a smirk.
"I'm Curious what are these Rune mages you spoke of earlier?" Katsumi was curious she hadn't heard of mages like that before and she was alway interested in magic.

Roy only let out another huff as he was called scrawny again. Than he gave her a glare when she stated she was only guessing. He'd never admit it, but she was just as "vicious" as he was.
"They have some great power in some true rune they have, tch, nothin' you'll be able to do though. There are only a few true ones, an' I don't think you'll ever get one of them." He gave a satisfied smirk.
