Milo opened an eye slowly, taking in the outside world before opening the other. It was light out, even though it was fairly early in the morning, and the sun was just coming over the horizon. The mystic flowers of Luna Grove were growing in tendrils and formed the bush that Milo so liked to make his den under. It was hot in the summer, and the nights were best spent in a good covered place, away from harm.
He crept out, taking in the surrounding for danger or unknown foxes. When all seemed clear, he trotted out, stretching and yawning. He liked dawn out in the grove. It was always so quiet and peaceful. He scratched his ear and sneezed. Then decided it was time to have a sniff-about.
Milo lowered his nose to the ground, and took off in the first direction his nose took him. It was an unfamiliar scent, but didn't seem to be dangerous. It was interesting and intoxicating, and Milo though that he must find the source.
My attempt at starting an ORP- left it pretty open!

Monroe was taking a nap under a tree, surrounded by flowers. Sure, it was hazardous, but there was a splendid morning breeze and she hadn't slept all night. What in the world would go after her of all foxes anyway, there were plenty of other creatures around Luna Grove.
Sensing a slight movement nearby, she reluctantly blinked her eyes open. 'There wasn't anyone here earlier....' She thought, taking in her hazy surroundings, 'Doesn't seem like anyone is here now... Can't be too careful I guess.' Roe eased herself to a sitting position and stood still, observing. 'There's definitely someone else here.' She narrowed her eyes, as if it'd help her see through the dense patch of flowers she was hiding in.

Hoshi stood at the edge of the grove and wrinkled his nose; this place is too crowded, he thought, and the scents are too confusing. He walked a bit farther in, already he saw other foxes, that's why he didn't live here, it was too crowded. So he stood half in and half out the grove, kind of hoping he wasn't noticed, but at the same time, hoping he was.
He reminded himself why he was here, every time his group needed and extra pair of paws, he was called to it, because no one would object for him. They thought coming here would be good for him; he was very antisocial compared to the other foxes. So he waited, hopefully whatever the others had come here to accomplish would be over soon, and they would leave without him every coming to another's notice.

Amidst the tall grasses that inhabited the area lay a golden male Fox. Currently, he was turned on his back at a rather odd angle, sleeping. The occasional soft snore left his snout, but, for the most part, the only sound around him was the breeze rusting through the bush. The twitch of a tanned foot or an amber-dipped ear occurred every so often, and each time Alok would stir entirely, flopping to a new position to continue his rest.

“Nneh? Wha’?!”
Startled from his light slumber, Alok awoke, rolling onto his belly with his head up and alert. His ears shifted in all sorts of directions in hopes to catch the receding sounds of his attacker, but it was his nose that revealed the true culprit.
“Alrigh’, alrigh’,” he laughed, crossing his paws in front of him, “out with ye, pup.”

Sniffing the air, Monroe identified at least two of the scents as non-floral beings. There was a strong aura coming from a certain direction so she stalked off to follow the unfamiliar scent.
When she put more thought into it, the scent was mixed. As she neared the destination the scents became more pungent and voices became audible. She hid in the tall grass to observe the male conversing with a pup.

Alok offered the turquoise kit an amused expression before displaying his teeth in a friendly smile. Youngsters these days - always getting into mischief. Not that he was any better when he was a pup, mind you. In fact, he was probably ten times worse. What with running all over the place and chasing everything that moved.
“Nah, think nothin’ of it, lad,” he reassured, lifting his body and sitting back on his haunches. “Th’ name’s Alok, an’ it’s a pleasure, Karen."
Something caught his sensitive nose and made it twitch, tearing the male's attention to a third Fox in the area. A female one, too.

Roe, with her careful observation and whatnot, spotted the slight twitch in the golden fox's nose that surely gave her away. She considered her options and rose a little, still concealed. 'Oh, well... They know I'm here so might as well...' She straightened herself and walked out of the grass casually as if it were her original intention. "Oh, hello!" She greeted the two males. Now that she was closer she took in the scene and set herself down where she stood, some feet away from the pair.

Milo kept sniffing, and raised his head. He spied the pup and a male fox, but that wasn't what he was smelling. It was something different. He lowered his nose again and headed into the grass when *bump*
He had hit something. He looked up and saw the female fox looking quite bewildered and surprised. He wasn't quite sure of what to say. "Uh... oh... uh, hey. I'm sorry. I just... I smelled you from way over there... and well..." He cleared his throat and blushed. "I'm... Milo. Sorry to bump into you. What are you doing?" His whiskers twitched.
