Home Life : Michel lives with his two parents, Maryse and Gilles Bleu, in Nice. He is an only child, having no brother or sister. His two parents are both very loving and supporting of him in all his studies. He attended Beauxbatons as one of the few male students, doing quite well in his studies despite being cast out with the rest of the male students, up until his seventh year, where he decided he wanted a transfer to Hogwarts. After explaining his situation to the Headmistress, he was granted a transfer, and a ticket to the Hogwarts Express.
He spent his summer in England, visiting his aunt Marianne and Uncle Jean in Cornwall. He learned his English from them, and it is a little better than the standard, fractal English that Beauxbatons students are seen speaking. His cousins showed him how to play Quidditch, a sport practiced in Hogwarts as well as around the world. He found out that he had a natural talent at playing Seeker, and looked forward to trying out for the position.
Diving deeper : Michel is a kindred spirit, always kind to those he meets, unless he knows not to be. He is usually the one who'll be the first to laugh at a joke, even though he might not get it, or make several of them himself. In essence, he loves to bring happiness and warmth to a group, to keep it in unity. He likes wizard candy a lot, enjoying even some of the more bizarre ones, such as prune Every-Flavor beans, and is a big fan of joke items. He also takes a great interest in birds, which is why he spends a lot of time with Jacqueline, feeding her and sending her out to his family.
However, he also hates quite a few things. Snobby purebloods, for one. He cannot stand people who believe themselves to be superior only because both their parents are Wizards. This is due in part to himself being a half-blood, but mostly because he finds it revolting. He also detests mean people in general, who will bully others as they see fit. But above all, he hates Egg-flavored beans.
Taking a closer look : He had packed his trunk with as many crucial belongings as he could. School robes, his broom, potion ingredients, a box of quills and blue ink, parchment scrolls, some treats for the road, and other things. He also had a cage to hold little Jacqueline. The ebony-haired french boy sighed, knowing that he was leaving everything he knew and loved for a place he was unsure of. But he had chosen this, and he wasn't afraid of a challenge. Taking his screech owl's cage in one hand, and his trunk in the other, he exited his room to bid farewell to his family. He propped his trunk against the door, leaving Jaqueline on the kitchen table as he hugged his mother and kissed her cheek. She was a very attractive woman of 42, with long golden locks falling around her radiant face and proud blue eyes. She was the Muggle parent.
"Farewell, Maman..." Michel said softly, patting his mother's back before pulling away. He then looked to his father, a tall, well-built man of 45, with ebony hair and honey brown eyes. He was, of course, the Wizard parent. He extended his hand to his son, who shook it firmly. "I will write you, Papa." He then heard a soft mew, seeing that it was his tabby cat Philippe, come to say goodbye as well. "Oui, oui, I'll t'ink of you too, Philippe." He then stood up, smiling as he took both Jacqueline and his trunk in hand, leaving to catch the train to King's Cross Station.
