If Nintendo support there console for a long time, like Sony do with theirs. I can see them selling more than the ps2. It's a totally new market the wii is aiming for and i hope it works out. More people into game means more games.

The way I figure it. Most people have a Wii and a PS3 or Xbox 360.

True, but the PS2 has been around a lot longer. Most people wait for game consoles to get cheap before buying a new. The PS2 has hit that point.

The Wii is basically the same thing as the PS2. There only a few differences. There would be no reason for the Wii to be expensive.

You're saying people don't have to wait for Wii. Basically, what I saying is the Wii isn't much of a step for consoles. Therefore, there would be no reason for a Wii to be priced high.

But it is a step not in hardware but in peripherals and software.

i don't know to explain it any more clearly then that. Nintendo don't what and super powered machine, they want a machine with good peripherals and software, which hits at a larger ordinance
