Fighting Ring Description: As the crowd cheers from the stands in a closed stadium where lights shine from above to light up the interior in a flash show, within a fighting area of only thirty feet in diameter stands a six-sided fighting ring, having a diameter of only twenty feet where the semi finals will take place. The ropes are indestructible, but bendable enough to rebound a person back in the other direction when pushed against. The ring stands three feet off the ground, with the ropes adding another three feet. The apron, the floor of the ring (also indestructible), is bouncy to absorb shock and decrease injury to those who are slammed against it, but it doesn't get rid of all the force due to its stability. Ten Count Boundary: When knocked outside the ring, that is when the ten count starts. The ten count is reset if the other fighter gets outside the ring, too. The ten count stops if the other fighter is in the ring using indirect means to keep the other fighter down, such as by vines or something of that nature. If the fighter is outside the ring, at least five feet from it using methods like this, then the ten count keeps going.

Murdoch stood in the ring, right in the center, he had already fought in one of these during his time in the normal bracket. He waited.

Reyin was quick to make it down to the ring, slapping hands with fans while sprinting down the ramp to the sound and flare of pyrotechnics.
He hopped up to the ring apron, latched onto the top rope, leaned back, then catapulted himself over the ring as the rope bounded back. He landed near the center of the ring, hopping up and down on his toes and waving to the fans before he even got a glance at his opponent.
The first look was that of surprise as Reyin had to crane his neck upwards, and he stepped back out of shock. This guy was tall.
"So..."
Reyin seemed to relax, though that was hard to believe, considering how much he was dwarfed by this guy.
"You must be the boss fight."

Murdoch was tempted to just swing and arm and put the currently landing man out for the count because of how close to the center of the ring he had landed, where Murdoch himself stood. But nay, he wouldn't. He allowed the man to do what he proceeded to do and reply in a bass heavy voice which would probably send ripples of sound waves core sing through the man's bowels before him. Gleaming edges of varied tools of material tearing teeth would be noticeable in mid-sentence.
"You...may think it as such, entertain me."
The multitude of muscles under the dragonic scales of his legs and arms would begin to pulsate in a manner that only die hard fans would notice would only spell something big was going to happen.

"So, what, you like bowling or something?"
Reyin was leaning back against the ropes now, just sort of testing out their elasticity and how much of his weight the ropes could hold. It was also nice to get some distance from the huge guy, so he didn't have to crane his neck so much in order to maintain eye contact.
Reyin sighed, unhooked his arms from the ropes, and stepped back towards Murdoch.
"Fine."
He was walking towards the dragon, albeit slowly, with his right hand moving to snag ahold of the sword at his back. Hell, if there was one equalizer the blonde kid had, it was that sword.
"But just this once."

Murdoch did not speak, he had noticed the large sword for some time now. As his opponent moved forward, so did the behemoth (in large steps of course) distance evaporated, muscles bulging now, a burst was coming. His opponent's hand would move to snag a hold of his weapon. Murdoch merely nodded.
Tension.

And so it would befall Reyin to make the first move. And, being the kind guy he was, he wasn't going to shake hands and just stab a guy. And...despite the guy's obvious size, Reyin didn't seem too intimidated. He got within four feet, took a quick step with his left foot, shifted his weight forward, and then brought his right leg flying across his body, at about his chest level.
Unfortunately, Reyin's chest level was right about Murdoch's thigh level, but hey, can't blame a kid for trying. He needed to test out those scales, see how resilient they were.
What better way to do that than to...uhh...kick them?
The kick was fairly strong for as little a guy Reyin was, but it wasn't designed to break even normal bones. Maybe bruise a guy up a bit, but that was it.

Murdoch almost allowed himself a sadistic grin, but had enough composure to savor it mentally, not giving away anything yet.
His left hand shot out to grab the mid-air leg, grabbing it by the shin/ankle region with brutal vigor, the muscles flexing as the hand established it's tight hold around the limb and pulled it in, while his right leg shifted at the knee joint, and instantly fired out with seemingly lethal precision (front snap kick). Sending the massive bare foot heel first into the region above the groin, which wasn't protected by bone save for the pubic bone which was liable to be shattered along with intense internal damage which may surely be capable of rupturing the human's innards. Which really wasn't the intention.
Nothing like being pulled to be violently kicked.
Murdoch wanted this man crippled by removing the right leg from it's socket, with brute force of course. The behemoth's longer limbs would make sure of it. Hopefully anyway.

"Eh-heh.."
Reyin hopped a little on his left foot as his leg was caught, putting him in the most compromising of compromising positions. It was a good thing Reyin had fairly good balance, and that he was hella athletic.
As Murdoch kicked for Reyin's thigh, more specifically the femur, Reyin jumped off the ground with his left leg. Timing was key, and as he jumped in the air his eyes shot downward for a split second.
His left foot, ore specifically the ball of the foot, touched against the shin of Murdach's kicking leg as it was brought up to deliver the snap kick against Reyin's oh-so-fragile groin.
Now, there wasn't much Reyin could do to get the hell outta the way of the kick, and surely there was no way he could overpower the thing, but Reyin was kicking, or pushing off really, from the side as the kick was being delivered. With any luck, this would push the kick off to the side and Reyin wouldn't be on crutches for the rest of his life.
And of course, shortly following the push off, Reyin would do two things. The first was, now that he was practically eye to eye with the monster, to stab his sword point-first into the meaty space between the big guy's left collarbone, effectively giving Reyin a 'handle' to hold onto while, at the same time, making a bid for his right leg's freedom.

Murdoch would not waste anytime once he realized his plan was ruined...for the time being. Since it was a snap kick, the leg would touch ground soon after while since his left arm was still pulling the man in, who was now moving against the natural angles of his own leg (perhaps risking the joint all over again) in trying to save the rest of his body.
The dragonkin would use the advantage he had on the human's leg, and quite literally, swing-toss him to the left his torso complying with the action as his hips steadied his balance, away from Murdoch just as his opponent tried to...do something with his weapon!? Sending the swordsmen well away and perhaps right out of the ring.

Some guy up in the stands cheered.
It wasn't apparent as to who he cheered for though.
He was just a grown-a** man, making a ruckus.

Well s**t, this guy was quick.
Reyin wasn't really at risk for damaging his leg, though. Because his right leg was grabbed at the shin, while jumping upwards would only really drag his leg upwards at the thigh. Proper leg mechanics and all that.
Still, proper leg mechanics wasn't going to stop Reyin from being flung through the air like a doll. It was a shame, too, because he didn't even get to plant his sword into the big guy like he had hoped.
Reyin tumbled through the air, hit the top rope with his hips, spun across the rope, snagged ahold of it with his left arm, slammed his leg against the apron, then toppled out onto the ground surrounding the ring. Thankfully the apron was fairly shock absorbant, otherwise that whole trip was really going to hurt.
But Reyin needed some time to catch his wits anyway. He had done a lot of spinning, afterall.

Indeed Murdoch had incredible burst speeds that had baffled practically every opponent he has faced, it was one of his only natural edges against other lifeforms of his own size and stature.
The purple garment, bluish scaled dragoon would shift to realign himself in the direction his opponent had gone. 10 count had begun for his opponent, Murdoch would give him the pleasure to regain himself and re-enter the ring. Considering the first time Murdoch was in a ring like this during the normal bracket, he had destroyed it.

Reyin was up on his hands and knees within a second of actually hitting the pavement. It was a pretty rough landing, but at least he didn't smack his face against the ground. The last thing he needed was a concussion.
"You're strong, I'll give ya that."
Reyin was up now, though he looked a little woozy as the moment he stood he stumbled off to the right a little bit, looking more like a drunk than a fighter. He got his bearings back pretty quickly, and he was able to scale the ring apron well before the count even reached seven.
"And quick."
Reyin slipped in between the top two ropes, then dusted himself off, propping his sword up against the corner of the ring.
"And tough."
Reyin reached back behind himself, snagged his sword, and made a mad dash towards Murdoch, the point of his sword dragging along behind him.
"But I've already read the strategy guide, and I know how to take you down!"
From the look of things, it looked as though Reyin was just going to run straight into the dragon-man's groin face-first.

The human was flattering Murdoch!
Eyebrows raised at the compliments, then drooped as his target came running at him with his blade, now what was he to do? Muscles pulsated in response, he back pace, long limbs keeping a safe distance from a mere estimation of the blade + arms length if it were outstretched already, the Dragonkin had something in mind.
