This is a place for fellow centaurs to dwell. It is a safe and tranquil place away from wizard who disrespect us.It is a safe and tranquil place where all species can meet and interact with eachother.
On a less articulate note: I'm not really sure what this thread is for as of now. It could be an rp or just a place to talk! I'm hoping that they will create a subforum for this, or maybe sticky this, but that'll probably never happen. So, feel free to do whatever you want! (Within the ToS of course smile ) Thanks to Minerva the Bookwyrm for the excellent prompt!

We're not supposed to bump threads in this guild.
Anyway, I don't believe it's fair to have thread only for members who want to spend 10k on a potion that changes their avatar into a centaur. It would be like making a "fire flower" or "spirit falcon" thread. If it's just a discussion about centaurs that's open to all guild members then I think it's okay.
So, let's begin a centaur-related conversation!
How do you think the Wizarding World would be different if more centaurs associated closely with humans the way Firenze does?

#1 NO BUMPING in this Guild. 5 demerits to Gryffindor.
#2 "It is a safe and tranquil place away from wizard who disrespect us" is not just poor grammar, it is insulting to the many wizards who DO respect centaurs.
#3 You've just killed the possibility of what you desire to manifest with the phrase "but that'll never happen." ASK for what you want, that's what the Suggestions and Requests sticky is for. Basic spell casting 101 - don't neutralize what you wish for by cursing it with "it'll never happen." It's also insulting to the staff of Haven who listen to the members and co-create with them to have their ideas become things fun for the guild.

I earned 10 points for Gryffindor? YES, I'm on a roll this week!!! biggrin
Anyway, I suppose I'll begin speculating. Wizards' skills at Divination would definitely improve if the masters of the craft were willing to share their knowledge. Also, as centaurs integrated themselves into wizard society and make more wizard comrades then the Ministry would be much less likely to attempt to restrict the centaurs' territories.

I'm thinking it would be lovely, for example, to have a centaur -Forbidden Forest RP in the subforum to play out Centaur - Wizarding relations.
It IS time for Centaurs to unite with sympathetic Wizards and modernize outdated Ministry legislation. (But you'll have to convince or provide for those centaurs who want isolation and purity away from folks who interfere with their solitude and contemplation of the stars).
And 5 points to you, Ninja_Unicorn666, for your Gryffindor worthy gracious response and vow!
If you decide to start a roleplay, you can announce in the Great Hall, your Common Room and to AccioFunds, who would then make a "Read Me First" announcement about it. If it got big enough, and popular enough, it would go from a sticky to it's own subforum. With the new Centaur potion, I think it could be very popular.
