I'm Magnavox, and I've been cosplaying officially since last year, but I remember making a make-shift Misty from Pokemon costume when I was around ten, so I guess I could call myself a cosplay veteran if I wanted to.
My name on Cosplay Lab and Cosplay.com is Magnavox (creative, I know) if anyone wants to check out most of the costumes I've done.
Now it's YOUR turn to talk about yourself. biggrin

I'll be taking sewing classes over at my high school -- so I can get an idea how to even get started...
The costumes I've done so far is Edward from Cowboy Bebop! ^_^ I would like to improve it though... sweatdrop

Hi all. I'm coeur. Even before I started cosplaying, I had an interest in it (I would look at other people's cosplay pics online). I cosplayed for the first time Halloween of last year. I have discovered that I love sewing, so when I combine that with my love of anime, cosplay makes perfect sense. I'm still a novice, but I hope to get better with time and practice. 3nodding

Hi. 3nodding If you casually glance above my avatar you will see that my name is husahusa. husax2-chan. fluffy. fluff. Mitchell. It's all the same. I'll even respond to other people's names if I think it will get me the attention I so desire.
But anyways. I have only actually done 2 cosplays in my career of running around to cons. I blame it mostly on the fact that I am a perfectionist and can't stand the idea of someone dressing up in the same costume better than me. sweatdrop
So far I've done...
Kamatari Honjou of the Great Scythe from Rurouni Kenshin (Ohayocon 2004) The Joker from Batman (Otakon 2004)
Anyways. Just wanted to say hi and I'm happy such a guild exists. blaugh

Hello! I'm Marshmallow of DOOM, but if you don't want to type all of that out you can just call me Marshy 3nodding . I've been cosplaying officially for about 2 years, but before I started wearing costumes to conventions, I was dressing like anime/video game characters at Halloween parties and stuff. I got into cosplaying at conventions when my friend had this crazy idea to go to Fanime in 2003, so I did some research on cons and found tons of pictures of cosplayers and decided that it looked like fun, so I made my first costume for a convention which was Sango from Inuyasha and my boyfriend went as Miroku. Now i'm completely addicted to cosplaying heart gonk .

I'm Shadow-chan and I've been cosplaying for maybe two years now, though I finally got to show my costumes off at my first con last year. I've been sewing for a long time now and figured why not put my skill to use toward the convention, and out popped no less than 4 costumes (one for me, my twin, and 2 for my friend). I'm no at Cosplay.com or any of those sites yet, though you can see some of my works HERE-shadow

My name is Barbara. I've been cosplaying for. . . I guess a year. I've only managed to do 3 outfits though. A gothic version of Yuna, (Of which I have no pics), Ulala from Space Channel 5, and Emi from DDR 3rd mix. I'm taking sewing classes to help improve my cosplays and so I don't beg my Mom to do it for me. sweatdrop

I'm Destruction Pancake, or Miho, Maki, Sara, Grandma, and i'll just about respond to any other random names people give me. I've been cosplaying.. Not sure. I've always nearly finished a costume then started another one. But, I'd say about a year or so.
My name on Cosplay Lab and Cosplay.com is Nyar. (Though i've never really done anything with my cosplay.com account. )
I've always had an intrest in cosplay, even before I could sew. So, I decided to do something about it and figure out how the sewing machine works. Now, I spend almost too much time making my costumes. If i'm not online, i'm sewing. whee
As for completely finished costumes. Ino from Naruto, My gaia avatar (from awhile ago), and i'm pretty much done with Tsunade from Naruto. (Blast me and my contribution to the many Naruto cosplayers. domokun )

Hi all my fellow cosplayers! ^_^ My real name is Joy but you can call me menchi. I've been into sewing since I was 12. Cosplay is nifty cause you can act out your favorite characters. I just started with cosplay. Anime Usa6 will be my second convention where I will dress up as a loli-goth and something else.
I hope to learn alot from you guys as I go further into cosplay. I just started using a sewing machine a month ago, so I don't have good practice.

Woot! I've been accepted. Been meaning to ask if that was you on cosplay.com Magnavox. Uuuuuhhhhhhhh, this is me. I've been cosplaying since my very first convention in 1999 even if I didn't know what I was doing. I've done... I don't know 8 or 9 outfits... unfortunately, I have very few pics anymore. They all went bye-bye. I am most proud of my sweet lolita outfit that I just made for this past Otakon. It's cute, and I plan on making more. My sewing skills shall slowly improve with the help of my mother, who makes all my spiffy Renaissance outfits.
