He'd been off with Piper for the longest time now, spending long days and nights with her. So much so that his family probally thought he abandoned his own pack. He sighed- his mother would probally be mad with his seperation- and his uncle would be furious that he had left the cave before fully allowing himself to heal. Now he was a perminante gimp, but he didn't mind he had a girl who loved him and a pack that well 'sorta' followed him. In reality it was really still Pipers pack. He was just there to make her look good- which he didn't mind since he adored her so much.
But the subject of Alpha- he wanted to approch his father with it before his mother. He was more level headed and would be able to spring the word on her without an overeation. The banishment of his brother Tornado was still fresh in his mind. Though he deserved it he almost felt bad because it would mean his brothers certain death- crazy lone wolves just didn't last too long on there own.
He sighed once more and trotted into the mouth of his cave where his siblings had been born. "Dad? Dad?!" He called out and sniffed about in all of his hiding spots. "I have great news!" He beamed with pride even though his back end was sagging more then it ever had.

The orange wolf had grown large since he had first arrived to these lands.. He'd grown very large, and now doubled the size of Twist, almost easily, butshe still held her grip on him.
His emerald gaze blinked and he looked up to see one of his twins coming towards him. From the voice, he assumed it was Hurricane, and he smiled, wagging his tail.
"What could you possibly be so excited about my son?" He asked, grinning.
Wazaam had been battling a state of depression lately..He had been trying to keep himself from going under, but the pack stress, and the stress of Twist's effect on his family.
He yawned..This was a tiring lifetime.

His own tail wagged merrily as he saw his father comming forward and with happiness he ran over and engulfed his dad in a long nuzzle. Poor dad looked like he had just been threw too much lately. "Dad you don't look so good." He stepped back a few feet to get a better look. "I know that look- whats wrong dad?" He cocked his head still having a puppy-like grin spread all over it. He prehaps was one of the most normal puppies from Twists loins...him and his sister Shezaam anyways. Other then that they all were little hellspawn- obviously having his mom's genes. Though Hurricane wasn't thinking about any of this because he was oblivious to the world around him...only thing he could have thought for his dad's condition was that he was either getting old or that his sister's death was leaning heavily on his shoulder.
"Though before you say anything- maybe I can cheer you up..." He then took a long pause. "I'm an Alpha just like you!"

He nuzzled his young son, and pulled away just enough to realize that he was becoming a grown adult quickly..Soon, he would stand just as tall and proud as Wazaam once had.
"Nothing is wrong my boy." He said with a forced smile.
"Your father just doesnt believe he has the spirit to be the only one to hold a family together.." He knew that his family was falling apart, and he felt helpless to stop it..Because he adored Twist, it had nothing to do with him losinginterest..But the pack itself was in turmoil, and he felt it was his paranoia that had driven the pack to such extremes.
But his son's words were chilling, yet intriguing, and the older male smiled, giving a hearty laugh.
"Oh, that you are Hurricane." He said. He was feeling stronger by the day, so his depression was releasing itself..But Wazaam had a long road to recovery.

"Dad..." He looked at him. "I understand." Again he nuzzled him not pushing the issue; he was no seer but his family was on his mind greatly. "But don't you worry about the family...your doing your best. I mean look at me." He tryed to stand up as tall as possible but his backleg buckled abit causing him to sag slightly.
"What do you think mom will say?" his half mangled ears turning forward to listen to every word his father would say to him. "Bet she would be proud too." Though he was pushing it off with his mother longer and longer- he was afraid of what she would say...what she would do- running off with Piper and abandoning her mother at the toughest times. Banishing his twin must have been extremly tough for her.

Wazaam, gave a tail wag and smiled.
"Don't worry about what your mother will think. Its how you feel about it. Your mother only wants the good of the pack.. I doubt she'd be happy with you leaving it."
But he paused, and nuzzled behind his son's ear.
"But Im proud of you." He said.
Looking back at the orange pup,he truly hoped his Alpha-hood would be better than his own. Wazaam led a life of nervousness and betrayal. He felt used and washed up, and the male was still very young. But Hurricane, he neededa real life..Something of value.

Hurricane always did like his dad better then his mom- probally because he was more like him in every splitting way then any of the other children in his mothers litter. In some ways this was good, in others this was bad- expecially from the point of falling for phycopathic powerhungry females that loved to use and abuse there male toys. Both he and his father seamed to have fallen victum to that. And both of them just as well seamed completly oblivous to this fact.
"I'm glad at least somebody is proud of me!" He beamed and threw his chest forward actully managing to keep his balance on his ill-preportioned legs. "I wanted to be just like you when I grew up."

Wazaam was always proud of Hurricane, and unlike Twist, saw all his children for how good they were, and not how bad they had been. He knew Twist saw Tornado has crazy, and Hurricane as worthless..She also saw Shezaam as weak.
He knew Tornado was misunderstood, Hurricane was passionate about his beliefs, and Shezaam was a strong fighter, but strong enough to hold it in until she could let it out. His kids were good kids, and he saw that.
"Im glad my boy." He said with a smile.

Gimping forward he nuzzled his father on the neck glad he understood. Twist probally couldn't even if she wanted to. It was a matter of love and the Alpha had trouble letting anyone in but herself. Hurricane was sure his mother tried. He had seen the real tears that she held back when the mention of his sister Tempeste crossed her mind. He also saw the pain that furled over her brow as she banished Tornado. But it just wasn't enough that she could actully clearly show it like his father could.
But he supposed it was because he had been raised by a loving mother and father. Even if Rome was grumpy and Kattana was overwelmed with greif it was still more then Twist had.
"Love you dad."

None of his children ever really said they loved him..Shezaam did daily, but she seemed to be the only one who cared to show any affection for anything.. But Hurricane, standing proud and tall made him proud.
He gave the pup, or now he was no longer the little pup from before..But a teen that would grow to adulthood before his fathers eyes.
"I love you as well my son..My bright shining boy.." He said with a beam of pride and love.
