 A pale blue-gray kitsu in robes wandered through the forest taking in the sights and sounds. It had been sometime since he had gone out alone; it wasn't in his nature to be alone either he much often preferred being around others and making them smile much to his father’s dismay.
Pulling his mind from the thought of being alone Takashi noticed a bright light coming through the trees. "Hey there must be the end of the forest." he muttered to himself, or at least a break in the forest. Either way bright sunlight would be welcome.
The wizard Kitsu smiled as the forest-parted reveling the meadow "Ohhhh!" it was so pretty! Just the place to practice some magic! Takashi bounded into the center of the meadow. Takashi wasn't near as good as his mother but he was better than most of his siblings and this time his Auntie wouldn't scold him.
Takashi notice some herbs "Ah I can use those latter." he said placing them in one of his robe pockets then pulled out his wand and began practicing.

Her nose wiggled.
Then her furry ears gave a twitch.
She new that smell, and the sound was so similiar to the footfalls of a kitsusagi. It must be! Smiling to herself, the pale femme closed the small journal she had carried along and tucked it in her oversized hoodie. Even if her guess was wrong, there was no harm in investigating! And with a familiar face surrounded by wavy chocolate hair imprinted on her mind, Celes bounded off towards the smell.
Trees swept by and the endless carpet of grass grew in distance behind her. Shaking the black locks from her face, Celes blinked from side to side for the other she assumed to be near. "Taka! Taka?" Was that even his name? That little piece of information had faded with time.

Takashi's keen ears perked instantly at the sound of his nickname a femme kitsu had given him a long time ago. Sniffing the air he grinned It was her he'd remember the scent. He remembered the little black haired kitsu in a large white and blue coat with two diminutive fangs. It had to be her!
"Celes!" He called with a big smile still holding his want. "HEY!" He called running swiftly to the edge of the clearing "Over here Celes!" Being able to track scents and such was really useful in times like this. Sky blue eyes watched the scenery intently trying to find the kitsu that matched the scent.
Flicking his tails happily when he found the white coat.

The kitsu halted in her search, ears lifted high as she scanned the area. That was her name being called out, but it wasn't by family. And the voice was unfamiliar; grown. She could hear the grass to her side being stomped on, and she walked carefully near the shallow hilltop. And then she spotted him. Brown hair tossed in waves and his dark coat a familiar symbol. "Taka!" Wagging her tails, she skipped while bolting in his direction. "It is you Taka!" Her joy was so strong that she didn't realize it until...well, she couldn't stop running.
"Yip!" Skidding on her paws, the kitsu girl accidently tackled and knocked over her friend. They tumbled in a mess before slowing enough to untangle. "Wow, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" Celes stood and shook out her own fur of grass.

"Celes!" Takashi laughed it was Celes, "Yikes!" Takashi suddenly realized that she hadn't stopped running and when she tried she skidded and failed crashing into him Takashi tightened his grip on his wand just as they collided. But it was fun! Takashi laughed heartily ignoring the few bumps and bruises that would heal in minutes "It's alright!" he said cheerfully. He hadn't seen Celes since he was a kit!
"Your so big!" he said shaking the fur off his long black robes. She was sure a lot less shy than she had been then hiding behind her father and she had thought everything was a puppy or something like that, he couldn't quite remember since it was so long ago.
Putting his wand back into his robe he smiled "How have you been Celes?" he asked

At least neither of them were hurt, but it truly had been fun! Maybe they could do a rolling game of some type down the hill later too. Celes laughed with the other, her voice still holding some childish energy. Golden eyes blinked as she smiled at Taka, tilting her head with a giggle. "Well yeah! It's called growing up. But looks like you grew more than me! Just look how tall you are!" White tails shook as she tried pawing the top of his hair only to fail.

Takashi’s curly hair moved as Celes bat at it, it really had been a long time.
He knew he had grown but he hadn't thought he had grown that big, Takashi was larger than Celes now "Wow I guess I haven’t noticed how much I've grown." he said slightly surprised himself. Maybe she would still play with him like they had when they met the first time; he hoped she hadn't grown out of it.
First things first though "How have you been?" Takashi asked curiously.

"Haha, well you have grown but not that tall. I think my brother may be taller....by just a liiiittle." Celes nodded to this theory, however random it was. Curious paws went from the hair to his shoulder spikes. "Hm? I've been doing very well, thank you Taka. Just spendning time with family of course. And meeting some friends now and then."
A small claw tapped against the white spikes as she asked, "Are these annoying? Do they poke you in the ear or nose?" She couldn't imagine wearing those for long. "But how have you been since we last met?"

Takashi smiled he had been doing much of the same thing just spending time with his family, meeting other kitsu and practicing magic. "I haven't been doing to much myself besides practicing my magic."
Takashi looked at the armored spikes on his robes... When he had gotten used to their awkwardness they were no trouble at all. "No actually I haven’t had those problems since I've grown, I had a lot of problems when I was a kit though."

"Ohhh, that's right. Your mommy taught you her magics as you grew?" How cool was that! "I bet you're really talented with them, yes?" She eyed the spikes once again while nodding. She too used to have trouble with her outfit. But only because it was so long and she was petite in the fluffy coat.

Takashi nodded happily "Yep," he said with a wide grin "I'm pretty good too!" course he wasn't near as good as his mother and his aunt was he thought the best in the family. He didn't inherit his mother’s raw talent. He had to work a lot harder in order for his own magical success
"Hey you want to see?" he asked curiously. "Hey come to think of it, your 'mom' kind of had an eye for magic." Takashi pondered "Was he some sort of wizard or magic user too?"
Besides Celes's coat looking kinda like some sort of robe. Maybe?

"Yeah? Really?" Celes wagged her tails in curious delight as the other spoke. So they had both grown with time, but Takashi put more use to it in actually learning his unique abilities. As for herself, she hadn't even hought to study magic, and instead went on to learn of herbal medicines. If anything, it was a useful talent.
Soft ears flew up and Celes pursed her lips in an 'o' to his question. "My mom? So you noticed, even that long ago." She giggled to herself, covering her mouth with a paw. "Well yes, he was. He doesn't really study or use it much anymore though. But...I would like to see what magic you can create!"

Takashi nodded "Well at the time I couldn't figure it out, but I realized after when I really thought about it." he explained then asked taking his wand out of his robes "What do you plan to do?" he was curious since she was a magic user's child.
He grinned readying his wand "Well what do you want to see?" if he could do what she asked he would.

"Ahhh, I see." What an observant friend he was! Celes giggled again as she randomly boinked one of his curly brown locks. She couldn't help it, she was so amused since the rest of her family had straight hairstyles. Curious eyes turned to look at the wand with awe. "Hm, well I don't know. What do you normally practice?" An idea crossed her mind and she smiled at Takashi. "I know!" Quickly, she bent down and picked up a small, round pebble. "Make this float!" Her smile turned into a chuckle of challenge, and without warning, she tossed the stone up into the air.

Takashi gave a nod "Yeah." He wondered why she was so interested in his curly hair. So many in his own famil had curly hair. It came from his grandma Nari. Since her hair was curly and red. There were some like his sister and his mother and father both had straight hair. So he didn't pay to much attention to it anyway.
"I've learned a lot of things" Takashi said so he could do a lot. Takashi grinned watching her toss the stone. "You got it." he grinned something like that elementary.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" He said moving his wand in the swish and flick motion and levitating the stone effortlessly. He Smiled happily. "Hows that!"
