The golden mare took after her mother in almost everything..She was the same golden hue, and ehe even had the soft personality..But Marahute had always had more spunk than the older mare. She had been thinking of her mother alot lately..and she desperately wanted to get Yiska and Esper together..It would be an amazing time..
Her mind was racing with the possibilities. So Chu liked her, and if Esper liked Yiska, everything would be perfect..Everything would be right.
Her thoughts came back to reality as she walked to the little cave that they had started to call home for the time being.
"Yiska?" She called, flicking her tail and peering inside.
"Darliiiing.."She sang out.

Yiska had been spending most of today napping in the cool inside of their little cave home. Apparently Marahute forgot to mention to him just what kind of energy level she really had. And sometimes one just needed a good nap.
Both ears perked upwards as his golden love's voice rang loud against the rocky walls. His curly tail flopping to one side of his flack as he slowly opened one light green eye. Peering out towards the light at the mouth of the cave. Illuminated by the sun behind her was his love. And she looked lovelier every day he woke up beside her. If she could get anymore lovelier that was.
He lifted his head, giving a loud yawn before picking himself off the dry grass used to soften the firmness that was the ground. And giving himself a quick shake to rid himself of anything that had decided to cling on for dear life. "Mmmm?" The white faced stallion replied, dragging his hooves lightly towards the lighted entrance.

The big black stallion had been sleeping away, and she'd gone and woke him up. But she smiled, offering an apologetic smile as she made her way towards him.
"Good morning, my darling." She said, bheaming as his eyes finally were focused and his yawns had subsided. "Sorry to wake you up." She said, as she walked closer to him, and nudging her head against his neck.
She loved this stallion, and she wasnt even sure she knew what love was until she met Yiska..He made her day bright, and she knew she'd never leave his side..He was much too great of a catch.

He blinked his eyes as he set foot out into the sunshine, the warm rays of the summer sun heated his body before he stretched his legs. Though stretching his neck was a little short as he was soon met with a nudge against his neck. Both eyes popping open now as a small smile came to his lips. Lowering his head to nuzzle her lovingly. "Good morning my golden beauty."
Yiska flicked his tail, casting a quick gaze to the sky. "Well, perhaps more like afternoon." The stallion didn't mind that it was her waking him. No. He enjoyed it when she awoke him because her face was the first thing he saw every time. And that was one of the best things to wake up to.
He nuzzled her again, giving a small shake of his head. "No, its fine love. Was about time I woke up anyway."

She smiled, her mischevious grin bemusing her features. She had a question for her lovebug, and she almost feared asking him. Because she knew it had everything to do with meeting her mother..and from what she felt, she knew it was a scary turn of events.
"Well Im glad then, darling. But I have a question."
She said, bouncing around and smiling, as if she was a happy little flutter.
Her smile still played with her lips as she spoke next.
"Yiska..Ya know..If you dont have any plans for this lovely day.." She paused briefly.
"I think we should pay a visit to my mother." Truth was, Marahute wanted foals, and knew that if she had foals without letting her mother meet the stallion, Esper would be quite dissappoimted.

Ears flicked back and forth, one by one a few times. Meet her mother? Yiska had figured he'd eventually have to meet the mare that brought his lovely into the world. And to thank her.
Persing his lips lightly, he gave a thoughtful glance to the sky. "Welllll I was going to go running through the fields nearby today. And then go see if I could scrounge up some apples...buuut.." He popped his lips lightly. "I think I can go without doing those things today if you want to go see your mom." The stallion gave her a playful wink.

Marahute smiled, flicking her tail happily, and bounding to rub her face against his. She was all smile, as she looked deep into his eyes, her happiness overwhelming.. even for her.
"Yiska, you're amazing." She said, as she hummed a bit turning around.
"We should head out now.. She lives close to fathers herd..I know where they are, and shes bound to be around." She said, with a playful toss of her mane.
The palomino mare had not seen nor heard from her children in ages..But she supposed thats how being amother was.. She never saw her own mother, so how could she be upset that the past was rearing its head? She lifted up a few strands of grass, munching on it in the warm days sun.
Unlike other Soquili, Esperanza was drawn to the sun, and hated the darkness..She did not like it being darker than she thought it should be. But she looked down at Flit, the little blue peacock colored wolf who was rooting with his nose down a small hole, trying to look for small insects.
"Flit, my dear..Catch anything today?" She askedm walking closer to him and smiling.

The stallion gave a little chortle of a laugh as she rubbed her face against his. Nipping at her cheek lightly. "I know. Its a curse." He gave a dramatic sigh before both ears perked up as she turned around.
Yiska stretched his legs once more. Pondering just how far away her father's herd was and just exactly how far away from 'close' was in relation to her mother. Either way it should turn out to be an enjoyable day. He hoped at least. If Marahute was anything like her mother he was pretty much prepared. "Alright then. Lead the way."

Marahute giggled, jumping up once more and flicking her tail in the breeze. Today would be a good day, it had to be. Yiska was here, she was going to see her mother..She had no idea where he father was..But she hadnt seen him since she was fresh out of her basket anyway. Mother saw him more than she did.
But Marahute didnt care anymore, as she has more important things to think of, like her new mate..The love of her life. "Are you nervous?" She teased.
When the little wolf shook his head and huffed, Esper knew she had her answer. The older wolf had been her constant companion for many seasons now. They had both aged together, and both were still as beautiful was when they were young adults.
"Keep trying little Flit. You'll get it." She said with a smile that seemed to reassure the little guy as he continued his digging.
Esperanza looked up into the blue hue of the sky, smiling. Her day had started off well too.. "Where do you think the children are right now flit?" She asked, looking back at him.
The wolf shrugged, walking back and nestling himself by the ankles of the palomino mare. She was his protector, and he was her watchdog. They were quite the duo.
"Hell if I know...Last time you saw Biscuit he was making babies without thinking, Tsayuli decided she was goingtoget mated to a stallion you'd met once..And Marahute, I wouldnt be surprised if she'd run off and decided not to come back." He said harshly. He hadn ever been considered nice.

Yiska picked up his pace a little. Just so that Mara didn't get too far a head of him. She seemed very excited that they were going. His golden love had met his mother, so it was only right that he went to meet her's. Though he would like Marahute to meet his father sometime as well. And in return he'd probably have to meet her's sometime.
He gave a deep chuckle and a shake of his head. Multi-colored curls bouncing against his forehead and neck. And he gave another shake of his head to keep it all out of his face. Sometimes his hair gave him the most trouble. "Maybe a little bit. But as long as your with me I'm sure I can handle it."

Marahute smiled, flicking her curled tail and prancing a few steps ahead of Yiska, much like a foal would. She felt carefree right now, like she did when she was younger and her mother and father were always around and taking care of her.
She smiled, humming and dancing all the way, until she came to a grove of trees she knew very well..If she followed these trees, she would exit in the valley that Yiska had found her in. But she didnt wantto go that way, and turning her head, she smile.d "This way!"
She turned back, and grinned. A small herd of horses was grazing in the distance, and she smiled, recognizing that to be her fathers herd, easily.
Her eyes scanned the area, looking for a golden mare that was similar to herself. "Mother!" She yelled out.
Esperanza had lowered her head to graze once more, when a familiar sound echoed through her ears, and she lifted her head. Her ears perked, she was alert, and oh so anxious to see who the voice belonged to. A mother never forgot the sound ofachilds voice, she hoped she was no exception.
The palomino mare looked to Flit and smiled.
"Flit! Did you hear that?" She asked, front hooves moving in place playfully.
"I think its Marahute.." She said, and let out her own call, hoping to lure the other mare closer to her. She hadnt seen her children in so long..This really was becoming the perfect day.

He smiled and laughed again at her dancing. Never had he seen someone so excited. But he figured it had been quite a while since Marahute had seen her mother. As long as they had been together he figured she hadn't been off to see her anytime recently anyway.
Yiska stopped at the edge of the field where the unfamiliar Soquili were grazing. But he paid them little mind. If they wanted to start something they'd come over on their own accord. But he had no sneaking suspicions that they would. They seemed peaceful enough.
Ears perked forward as his mate called out. His head turning and eyes squinted as he picked out a mare not too far off. She was a bit lighter than Marahute, but from her calling out 'Mother' and they excited sound to her voice he could only figure that she was indeed his love's mother. Well at least now he knew where she got most of her looks from. Or he could at least place it better anyway.
His heart pounded in his ears as a small wave of nervousness washed over him. Hopefully she would approve of him. He wasn't sure what he'd do if she didn't. And so he took a few tentative steps in the direction Marahute went, letting her meet up with her mother first before he crashed the scene.

Marahute ran to her mother, rejoining the mare with a happy exuberant nuzzle to the cheek. It had been too long for the daughter to go without seeing her mother..
"Mother.." She sighed happily, before looking in the direction of Yiska, and grinning once more.
"I have someone I would like you to meet." She started, chocolate eyes gleaming with pride as she prepared to introduce her mate to her mother.
Motioning Yiska to come closer, she smiled back at her mother. " Mother, this is Yiska." ____
The palomino mare was just as happy to race to see her daughter as her daughter was to do the same. She whinned loudly, as she was sure she wouldnt lay eyes on her wandering children again..It had been how long since she'd seen any of them?..
"Oh Marahute.."She said gently, a soft nuzzle to Marahutes cheek.
"How have you been?" But her question went unanswered, or better, answered without words as the mare craned her neck to look with her own chocolate orbs.
A handsome stallion stood a few feet away, ebony and ivory in color, yet some green hues here and there as well.He was attractive, and strong looking..And apparently made her daughter happy.
"Its a pleasure to meet you, dear." She said with a warm smile.

Watching the two reminded Yiska of his mother. He missed her still, even after he had taken Mara to meet her. Perhaps sometime soon he would journey to be with her for a little while without his mate. He owed her much mother son time because of his absence lately.
His ears straightened as his mind snapped out of day dream land. Catching Marahute's motioning for him to come forward. With his head held high, he closed the distance between them, bowing his head slightly to the older mare. "The pleasure is all mine, I assure you mam'."
