Greetings
In this class you will learn how to successfully apply your knowledge to heal minor wounds and to perform minor field ninjutsu.
Pay attention to all that I do and say, there WILL be a test on the information at the end of the class. Along with the written test, there will be an improvised situation, where you will have to heal an injury, if you do not you fail and must retake the course.
DO NOT disrespect me, it will end up not as good as you want it to be.
Students:
Test Scoring: 0 questions wrong and good strategy=100% 1-2 questions wrong and fair strategy=90% 3-4 questions wrong and simple strategy=80% 5-6 questions wrong and no strategy=70% 7+ wrong and off tast strategy=Fail

One single student sat within the class room remaining silent as his yellow tinted right eye looked semi bored with his dark indigo hair spiking and a long part hanging over his left eye, hiding it completely from view. Over his body, he wore a long black cloak, hiding his mouth and the bottom rest of his body from view. Though in this case, t may not have been necessary.

Icarus sighed as he entered the room. Having to return to an academy-level class was hard on the boy, speaking as though he had experienced a summer's-worth of freedom and had just been assigned a genin squad. Looking around the room, he could already tell that the profession of medical shinobi was an unpopular one amongst the ninja of gaioh. Simply giving a nod to the other boy in the room, Icarus took a seat in the front of the class and propped open his notebook.

Westly walked in, sat down, and opened a book. The lack of people present was... terrifying, actually. An intelligent water-nin with great chakra control, Westly had the makings of a good med-nin. He wasn't quite sure he wanted to take this particular career path to conclusion (did they even permit specializing in Psychiatry?), but when you got right down to it...
We have an entire village full of hot-bloods hoping to one day make ANBU. How do they expect to survive that long if they can't even be bothered to learn first aid?

The medical teacher, Kitsu Ayagami, sat behind his desk with his feet propped up and his arms folded behind his desk. Instead of his chuunin vest over his light fighting clothing, he had on a typical white jacket worn by doctors. Peering at the desk he took notice of the clipboard on it littered with writings and names. It seemed that out of the list on the paper only three had arrived so far. Although, the three that were here were quite unique in their own ways. Kitsu had high hopes for this batch of students.
"Alright students. We will begin as soon as the others arrive."

Nova slipped into the room as quietly as possible, appearing as if she might be attempting invisibility at the sight of the other students. Was she late? Her first day and she was Late! The girls cheeks where already flushing pink with embarrassment and she ducked into an apologetic bow.
"Suminesan Sensei! Goman Nasai" She excused herself quietly, keeping her gaze level with her toes and inching towards the nearest seat. She was dressed traditionally in buddist style robes of dusky purples and oranges with her cropped minx grey locks sweeping her cheeks in a slightly unkept and girlish manner.
Still holding those odd pupiless eyes to the floor, she folded her hands self-consciously as she lowered herself gingerly into her seat and glanced over to her neighbor. And a 'glance' it was for a single look at the cloaked, spikey haired boy to her right and she snapped her gaze forward to the chalkboard and didn't let it stray again. Better not to draw attention...

Icarus waved a hand at the timid-looking girl, but gave a silent sigh as he was ignored.
Every single oneofem'...
Icarus gave the mental remark to the fact that every single kunoichi, in his age bracket, was either too timid or too closed to talk to him. This one didn't seem to be any different as she snapped her head forward to avoid staring at Ketsu. This action brought another thought to Icarus' head. If a puppeteer had an entire personal army at their disposal, why was it that Ketsu, a puppet-using chunin, was attending a beginner's class on medical arts?

Nova stared down the front of the class room with the sort of intensity one might apply to a particularly difficult math problem, thankful for now that it seemed as though class had not yet stated. Least there was that.
It did not take long however for her attention to falter at a hint of movement to her left, and she involuntarily shifted her eyes toward it. Really she made quite an awkward picture, moving her eyes while keeping her face ridgedly forward... at least until she realized someone was actually waving at her and she ended up doing a bit of double take before flushing anew.
This time however the embarressment came as vanguard to a tentative smile and a acknowledging tilt of her head. "I'm I very late?" She whispered seeing as he was close enough for that and she was still afraid to disrupt the silence to much.

Kitsu kicked his feet off of the desk, lurched forwards, and in on swift motion whipped his hands from behind his head and grabbed the clipboard. Taking the pen that was stored behind the clip of the board, he checked off the names. Next to each name was a brief description of each student and a picture to identify them. Ketsu, Icarus, Westly, Nova...they were all here and they all seemed highly promising.
"Nova, you aren't late, please don't worry." He spoke directly to her. "Now class, what I want you to do is each of you tell me WHY I should teach you medical ninjutsu."

Without waiting to be called on, Icarus gave Kitsu his answer.
"Without medical shinobi in the village...people would be dying left and right...even if it's only accidental..."
Icarus' face betrayed him as he spoke. His, normally, happy exterior shed away, just momentarily, to reveal a face full of regret. That face was promptly buried, as if it didn't matter and he was just tired, in his arms.

In contrast to Pheso, Nova waited until it was clear Kitsu had acknowledged her before voicing her own opinion.
"Every shinobi should be versed in the basics of first aid... But as for why you should train us specifically? Well I should think the fact that we've shown up of our own free will is enough reason to at least give us a chance as it means we have a desire to learn and assume an initial responsibiliy to aid others." She met the question indirectly having reviewed the different angles at which it could be taken and decided a general response was the best course... not to mention Pheso had already announced the obvious reason to train medical ninja and she saw no reason to be repetitive.

"Well," said Westly, a smile creeping into his face, "given that there was a sign-up sheet for medical jutsu classes, complete with a qualification exam, and your name was at the top of the page listed as 'Sensei', I'm going to out on a limb and say that you should teach us medical jutsu because, having already agreed to do so and likely having accepted payment by this time for your services, teaching us medical jutsu is your job."

Kitsu checked off two squares on the clipboard next to the name "Icarus" and "Nova", but left a square blank next to the name "Westly". Looking towards both Icarus and Nova, he gave them a reassuring smile and a nod, but looking towards Westly his expression sourly changed to that of a scowl.
"Boy, if you aren't going to take this serious then get out of this classroom. I don't teach for payment, I don't teach for shits and giggles," he sternly spoke. "I teach to build a promising future for Gaioh and the shinobi that inhabit the village. Teaching and medical jutsu aren't my jobs, they are my life. Be thankful that I am reaching out to you young guns and sharing a piece of my knowledge with you."
The box that was left unchecked was suddenly marked with an X, something that Westly would find out was less than desirable.
