When The Bell's Tolling
Arien is a girl, simple enough. She was born in a house but her family's money was lost and all she remembers is living in the streets with her parents. All was well enough for the homeless family until one night two muggers shot and killed her parents At the age of 10 the girl was stolen by the muggers who sold her in to servitude and prostitution, as well as using her for their perverted needs. It seems to be fate when she is sold to a magician to be an apprentice, and it seems to be dumb luck when Arien secretly progresses in the Art of Witchcraft far beyond her Master's level.
Soon enough she butchers her Master, and sets flight to becomes the Queen of a kingdom of evil Magicians. When she gains her throne she mutilates people for sheer joy, but what will become of this new goddess of death? Will she become the one that slits the throat of the human society... ... or perhaps something entirely different will happen.
The old man was strange. And I hated him right off. I felt a wave of hate hit me as strong as the hate I felt when Dirty and ****** raped me. No, he did not get so far, but I saw through his intentions. And for that, I hated him. But because I threw off my act he was now my new master. Master Oak, named for his strength, his everlasting presence, his determination, confidence, and his ability to overshadow those below him. My anger licked the ides of my charred heart at the thought of this pervert being my master, but I knew that he didn’t have me here to rape me. He did not have me here to be his maid. He wanted me for something else. O could tell from that moment when he glanced at me. He has something else in mind. And even though I hated him with almost every part of my being, my curiosity still questioned his motives. “Okay. We both know that you and I aren’t stupid, so cut the s**t and tell me what you want with me,” I demanded. He smiled with arrogance as he said, “Cute, but I’m your Master.” As soon as he finished saying that simple sentence, he turned his back on me, mumbled, and my chest exploded in pain. My eyes burned with fire and hate as I glared at him with surprise. He’s a wizard! Quickly I knew what it was he wanted from me, but I was so surprised at the moment that my chance for revenge had fallen so easily and gently in my hands that I couldn’t think straight. “That’s right,” He said. “I’m a wizard. I’m getting old, and I have no heir, and as you’ve figured already I’ve chosen you to carry on my knowledge.” I tried as hard as I could. I almost couldn’t keep my face straight. I wanted to bust out laughing at the irony. Here the assholes that ruined my life had just given me the power to make their lives a living hell. “Tonight you will accompany me to diner. You will take a bath, and get dressed. The maids will know where to get everything you need. They will help you, and unless you want me to attack you with another spell again, you will listen to their every word.” I felt rage build up inside of me of the thought of letting scullery maids being my masters, but no matter. I can over power them easily. The twitchy and fluttery maid peeked around the corner at us, and at the sight of me she squeaked and jumped back. “Amelia,” Master Oak called sternly, “Take this young lady up to the bathing room. Prepare her for supper. She will accompany me in the finest clothes you can buy at Le Julienne. She needs to be ready in four hours.” And at that he turned his back and left the room soundlessly. I turned my head and fixed my gaze on Amelia. At the second my hard eyes focused on her, she jumped and squeaked and stuttered. “I- I- I’ll go g-get J-Josephine!” She then jumped almost out of her shoes and rushed to find the other maid. And as soon as the other maid came in, I saw why. Josephine was probably the Head Maid. She was a little portly with her sleeves rolled up and her slightly fayed bun ontop of her head. She stood up straight and puffed up her chest in a show of arrogance. She thinks she can break me. I felt offended and glared at her from across the room, and as she returned the welcome. “You must be the Master’s Heir,” she said with a slight British accent. “Humph. Didn’t think he’d stink so low, I didn’t. Dunno what he thought, choosing a little evil brat like you to take his place ‘n all.” “Evil?” I hissed, “You have yet to know my evil.” “You’re like a little terrier, you are. Think you’re all that, but all you are is a little ankle biter. Couldn’t hurt a fly if you tried it.” I felt an urge to accept her challenge, but I knew that it would be a costly mistake. To fight her would surely involve punishment from Oak and possibly the loss of my prevalent position. I need not waste time on her… yet.
Josephine led me up the stairs as Amelia nervously followed me from behind. The large staircase was wide enough for five people to walk up shoulder to shoulder with a bit of elbow room, and tall enough to climb five stories in a corkscrew motion. Its thick railing was made of (not surprisingly) oak, and a deep rich red carpet seemed to endlessly cover each step. When we got on the third floor we stepped off the staircase on to a lovely dark magenta carpet covered in a gold diamond pattern, and in each diamond was an exotic flower. The walls were covered in strange wallpaper with deep magenta exotic flowers all across it. The ceiling had a deep richly colored wood above the hallway giant gold chandeliers with dangling diamonds were hung fifteen feet above our heads. The beauty was awe inspiring, but my cold heart would not gape at such meaningless worldly possessions. My purpose now was to quickly map out the place in my head, and learn all I needed to know about this place, its servants, and its Master. My Master. I felt my muscles shudder at the thought of a Master, but I knew that resilience will not give me the power I need. I would need to be docile if I wanted to get what I wanted. I’d just make them believe I was being broken, and over the course of a few months they would believe that I was becoming the girl they were molding me into, and then I’d strike. I smiled menacingly at the thought. All I’d have to do now it control my temper. We stopped walking at the end of the hall, where double doors greeted me and my maids. The doors opened and my eyes ached at the bright light that streamed out of the large room. I stepped onto the tiled floor, and saw the bath tub. Well, if you could call it that. It was more like a small pool. It wasn’t very deep, but fairly large. It was covered in a foot of sweet smelling bubbles and the water was probably filled with expensive oils. And in a minute I took off my clothes and stepped into the warm water. I felt the warmth seep into my skin and I felt my muscles tempt me to relax, but my mind was molded to never loose my posture. And so I sunk down into the water as hardened as I had came.

A Dragon's Tale: The Dragon's Orb
Cat and Jacob are brother and sister, both never really having anything to do with each other. Even when there Father dies and Mother goes into a coma they keep their distance and hide their pain. But once they are moved to live with their grandparents they are offered a chance to bring life back to their parents by a Dragon. The dragon says that they can bring their parents back to life by offering their soul to a magical sphere known ad The Dragon's Orb. So these two opposites, Cat the bratty complainer who lives on giving sarcastic remarks, and Jacob the independent brother who's heart is solid and his patience thin, must cross part of the country, get attacked by dragons, people, serpents, unicorns, and each other. But when it comes down to it, is it worth it? Or should they stop, while they're alive?
I slid down the tail of the dragon, trying to get to the ground, without jumping seven feet. I landed on the ground as I saw the sun set. “Why did we stop flying? It’s night; we have more cover in night than day. Why would we stop?” “Because dragons are like snakes. We are cold blooded. We’ve been heading south west. We’re close to the desert, and at night the temperatures drop very low. Even though we’re on the outskirts, the temperatures are too low for me to fly in. We’ll rest for tonight.” “What about food?” Cat said. “Unlike snakes, we eat daily, and after not eating for hours, I’d like to eat.” “I’m… unsure of what humans eat, so I don’t know what food you’d plan to eat. I could bring you something, or you could search for food yourself.” “Even though I love the thought of a dragon bringing a bloody animal carcass for me to eat, since It’s still about an hour before twilight, I’m gonna go look for edible food. If we’re not back by dark, you may have to find us.” Cat then walked towards the forest, and I shortly trailed after.
“Why are you so mean to Morrack? You seem to really hate him. Why?” “I’m sorry if my blisters and saddle soars and sea sickness isn’t apparent to you. I don’t want to ride that thing again. I’m sick of dragons. Yea, he’s a weird magical lizard thingy, but I really don’t care anymore. We should just ask him to take us home,” she said in disgust. “You hated it? I loved it. Nothing is as cool as riding on a dragon.” “Yea, yea, yea. Whatever.” “Aren’t you the one that said that you wanted to come here in the first place?” “Yes, but I didn’t think that it would be this painful or long.” “But we shouldn’t have much longer to go right? I mean, we can ride for like another day, get there, and maybe even get a transportation spell back. If you ask me, we’re getting a bargain.” “Well… I don’t know. I just don’t like Morrack. If you ask me, he’s up to something.” “Well I didn’t ask you, and I don’t think anything is wrong with him.” “You never think that anything is wrong with anyone! Apparently to you everything is happy and dandy with cheerful magical fairies and unicorns guiding your way. I bet there are even rainbows and flowers, candy and cakes-” “Cat, shut it.” “Puppies and ponies-” “Cat, Shut it!” I turned toward her in my anger only to see her scowling. A moment passed of silence, but then I barely heard her murmur, “Everything was always easy for you.” And all though I didn’t say it, the thought ran though my mind, I know. We walked through the forest, watching the sun as the air kept chilling, soon I thought about turning back. After too much silence, I said, “What about Mom? I also know a way that we could get Dad back too. You might give up hope, but I’m not. We have a shot on getting our family back, and I want noting better than to have them back.” Cat stopped walking as she stared at the ground in consideration, then responded, “I can’t leave without you, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to enjoy the ride.” I looked at her in confusion, unable to understand what was up with Cat. She was supposed to be the magical thing fanatic. She never cared for any real things. Everything real she hated, or scowled out, downsized or rued. I never understood why. I think it’s because things just never worked out for her. Everything the got she worked hard to accomplish, and everything she lost vanished before she knew it left… like Mom. If anything, I’d think she’d love this adventure, finally getting rid of all of her real worries, and just being able to live in a fantasy world. I really couldn’t understand why she didn’t care for Morrack. He is our hope. Our family now lies in taters, but this dragon can make our wildest dreams come true, and I will risk anything to have it back again. Anything.

The Four
I'm Emerald. I'm the third born of four children Ruby, the second of four. I'm Topaz, the eldest of us. My name is Canary I am the fourth born in an Elven Family. We are elves, but we are different from most. We were born and each given these gem... thingies. Yea, we're destined to do something or another. We were granted life by an enchantress who gave our parents four gems that were stolen from a mad sorcerer. The gems were bestowed to us but they have stunted our lives to make us live in an un-Elf like manner. We are more like humans then Elves. After several years fate or something decides to come and ruin our lives. Apparently it doesn't matter if we want selfish things like, oh I don't know, parents, a home, and the ability to chose how to live our lives. Without warning we're sucked into a battle with an evil king who created the gems we possess. I don't know what we're supposed to do. The purpose of our lives has been set into motion. We cross mountains deserts cities and oceans to defeat the greater evil that we were born to oppose. I am Emerald, the thinker. I know many things, but I tend not to finish many thoughts. Emerald never finishes anything. I wouldn't trust him with my brush. He'd take it apart and leave it that way. He thinks he knows everything. I don't really think about emerald. he does whatever he wants. Yea, he helps out sometimes but I don't really care. Emerald is smart but foolish. He never takes anything with the amount of seriousness that should be considered in the situation. I am Ruby, the...Brat? Or the honest one? I'm the only one that takes anything seriously despite whatever anyone else thinks. Ruby never cares about what anyone thinks or feels, but she tends to be right even when we don't want to admit it. Ruby is a brat. Her royal highness believes that the worlds revolve around solely her. Ruby is heart broken and stubborn. She tries to hide hurt with her blunt honesty. She has no concern of those around her and fails to fully negotiate the current situation. I'm Topaz. I'm the Leader cause I'm the oldest. Topaz tries to lead but he just doesn't seem to have the qualities that a good leader has. Topaz couldn't lead a fish to swim. Topaz is lazy, selfish, and unconcerned about anything other than putting me down. He lives to prove he's better than me. Topaz is scared of leading. He doesn't have the courage or confidence but keeps the title because he is the first born of us and feels it is his birthright. I'm Canary, I am emotionless and critical. Canary seems... very quiet. She is the wisest of all of us but she seems to have no soul. Canary is a walking yellow emotionless pit of a girl. Canary can scare me the way she is so critical and empty. I mean she helps out a lot but staring at her is like staring a a statue. If she moves you almost want to jump from surprise.
It is our destiny to save the world no matter what we want it is what fate has decided for us If we fight hard we should make it. Ha! Like to see that happen. I give it a week.

Haden My Black Winged Angel
My name is Rena. I... I am an orphan who is the... girl of a group of bandits. They took me... and I could not escape. I was so scared. I thought I'd never be free until one day when I ran I found... an angel before the dogs caught me. He was no ordinary angel... his wings were black. I was scared at first. There are many rumors of a man eating angel, but to be eaten alive would be better than... It'd be better. I am now with him, being hunted not only be the bandits that follow me by by a jealous sorceress who wants Haden, my black winged angel, to be her husband. We are hunted by Harkson Hounds and other demons, but only fear drives us to safety... For the moment. When haunting memories and a powerful sorceress come together only my angel can save me... If I don't kill him first.
A Moonlit Night
I raced as the moonlit sky that was shining with stars guided my path. I dodged the trees and jumped their roots as soon as I saw them. I felt my pounding heart beat against my chest in fear as my legs soon gave out, and as I collapsed on the ground. My eyes rose to the sky as I gazed at those stars, those beautiful, beautiful stars. Their shine was ever so bright…as was the moon’s. Their everlasting glow was easily seen in the midnight air, as was my breath from the chilling December cold. I gasped for air as I soon picked myself up from the ground and started my run again. They’ll be coming for me soon. I neared a pond as I fell again and almost stopped for a rest. If I stop I’ll never get out of here in time! I need to hurry! I bet they have the dogs out chasing me already…but… I feel so weak… I could barely raise myself to my feet, and it was even harder to stay on them, but panic forced them to fight the weary pain. I lifted my head to the pond, thinking about the cooling water. I only took a glance at the water before my mind ranted at me. I have to get out of here! No time to waste on water! I went to run once again but my heart stopped for a second when I saw a rock by the water shift. At least I thought it was a rock. It was oddly shaped and fairly low to the ground. It had something long and jutting out of one side while the other side was shorter and was curled over. I stared closely, trying to focus on the figure near the water’s edge. It was an angel. An Angel with black wings. He was sitting on his shins and was staring in the water. He stayed so still… I wasn’t sure if he was real… That…. That couldn’t be… I remember a story I heard two boys murmur to each other long before- They were talking about an angel. They said, “He has raven hair and black wings, and he haunts all the people that dare go into the woods at night.” “Yea, and if you try to look at him he will haunt you, and if you do see him, well… let’s just say you’re dead meat. He starts by breaking you’re neck and ripping our your guts” “Nah, that’s not what he does. He rips out your heart and lungs then he breaks your neck. “Really? What’s his name?” I asked out of curiosity. “Lenny. If you speak his name three times in his presence, he will burn. That’s why he attacks you if you see him, and runs if you say his name.” “Yea, right. I don’t believe you guys. What kind of angel is named Lenny?”
Those guys were weird… but if there actually is an angel with black wings and…. He does have raven hair… maybe they weren’t - “Bark, bark, bark! Bark, bark, bark!!” The Dogs! They’re coming! I then completely forgot about the angel as I started racing again, running from the two men I feared most. I shot off from where I stood so fast, so hard, that I tripped in some mud and splashed into the edge of the pond, startling the angel. “What the- who are you?!” He jumped back and got on his feet as he looked at me in horror, but then the barking got louder, and my heart beat faster. I got on my feet and started to run towards the woods, trying to get away from the barking, when I turned and saw the angel as he raise his wings towards the shining moon, and lifted from the earth, beginning to fly out of sight. “Wait! Please, help me!” I pleaded to him. What kind of sense does it make to ask a cannibal angel for help? Whatever happens, it has to be better than what they will do. I saw him flap his wings in a way to make him hover over the trees as I heard the dogs barking come dangerously near. He then dove out of my vision, leaving me to fight the dogs. Not like he could’ve helped anyway. I glanced behind me seeing the glint of the dogs’ eyes trailing right behind me, making my heart give in to my doom. Time seemed to slow down as I turned my face to see the beautiful moon surrounded in stars once more glittering in their holy untouched glory. But the moon and stars weren’t the only things I saw in the beautiful sky, for there also was a boy with wings of black, diving strait towards me. I felt the wind of his wings brush me as his arms wrapped tightly around my body and lifted me off the ground. I felt the heavy flaps of his wings and felt my pulse slow down. I felt his warm breath on my face as I felt a tear slide down my cheek. Fear entered my heart from his tender touch, but I forced my fears at bay from the danger of being left on ground. “Thank-you,” I whispered, unable to speak anything more or anything louder from the shock. I then saw his c**k-eyed smile as he said, “No problem.”

Crystalin Princess
Her name is Amira, and she is a princess of the dying race of Crystalins. Her parents sent her to the world of humans to protect her from the onslaught of Feirns, enemies of their people. On the human world she is clueless of her dynasty and clueless of the danger she's in, for once her identity is found her world is forever destroyed. So when she is meets a stranger who warns her of the people closet to her, will she run with him to safety, or is it a trap that will be the ruin of her, and her people?
I walked through the hall with my arm wrapped in Derrick’s, my heart burning as brightly as ever. I felt so warm in the fire. I wanted to have it. I wanted to have it forever. I never wanted it to leave. I laid my head on his shoulder as he laid his head on my head, and we walked down the hall like this. I then glanced up, and for the first time in a week and a half, I saw Joel. I unlatched my arm with Derrick and ran up to the Joel whose face was bleeding in pain and whose eyes stared at the ground. “Joel!” I yelled. His head shot up and once he saw that I was coming he turned around and began to run. “Joel!” I ran as fast as I could and reached out and grabbed his shoulder, spinning him around towards me. “Joel…” His eyes were tinted red, as if he was crying. His skin was pale as if all happiness left him. His hair was much more messy than normal, and he had deep, dark bags were under his eyes. He was quiet, and he seemed pained. I heard the bell ring, but I ignored it. “Joel, what’s wrong?” His eyes met up with mine and as soon as I stared into them I felt pain race into my heart. “You forgot about me.” I stood there, unable to mutter anything. “You never came to find me. You didn’t call. You didn’t try to find me. All you did was stand at the library. All you wanted to do was be with Derrick. All you did was be with Derrick.” He lowered his head again as he shrugged my hand off his shoulder and walked away. “You forgot about me.” I turned around and saw Derrick close by. He stared at me with pain filled eyes as well. I stood still. I felt my heart break with pain, hurt, guilt, and sorrow. Why didn’t I do better? I could’ve done better. I should’ve done better. “I’m sorry Joel…” I murmured. Joel stopped walking away, as he turned towards me and said, “Yea right.” I was about to go to leave when all then sudden a strange, screeching noise came from below my feet. I saw the floor swirl below me as a red, strong, large, taloned, callused hand came up and gripped my leg. It pulled me down into the floor, I screamed as I watched Derrick run to save me, and Joel sit and watch. Derrick came and grabbed my hand and fell through the floor with me, and Joel only watched in horror. Derrick loved me. Joel ran away from me. Derrick risked his life for me. Joel only watched as my life was being taken away. My heart still pained, but my mind was made up. I loved Derrick, and Joel… he was not worth it...not any more.
