Well, I had used a "temporary icon" as my fursona (Kaiser, a story character who was a fox plushie), and I treat my Theriomorph as a kind of fursona (meaning he's flexible like my real fursona, but is still a more serious story and spiritual side). After so many years of not having a fursona, I decited to finally customize one.
OK, there are small side things, cannon but not always permanent, that go with Chase, like water/ice manipulation abilities and the fact his body fat builds up greatly and is many, many, MANY times heavier/fatter by the summer time, and slims back down in the winter (reasons for that as well), but I'll jump strait into the main things:
Breed: Aurian Husky. Aurius is a country in a fictional world of mine. I think it's funny how I'll sometimes list him as an Aurnian husky and that will just whoosh over people XD. Why husky? I like them, and many times had to explain I am a winter creature. The heat literally makes me sick, messes up my mind, and I think is one of the main drives of why my body/mind/health has just been so ruined. Nothing puts things in perspective like "I'm like a husky in the desert; able to deal with the cold, but feel like killing myself once summer hits".
Color: His colors are a throw back. I used to dream of a person who could shift into a fox/anthro, and used to be all white (or, in anthro form, white with brown hair). She then dye'd her hair a rose brown, but I guess it messed with her fur, making it pink. It's all I ever seen her as ever since. It's been years since I last saw her in my dreams, so, this is a kind of detication. Likewise, the color on Chase is a dye. He's naturally a blue/black and white. ....and I like pink =3
Body: A lot of characters out there are thin. I had drawn mostly thin stuff (believe it or not) when I drew in my life. ....but after wanting something new, liking pudgy/fat furs more, and being fat myself, I just molded myself into an anthro. Only difference is he's not as curvy as me (as I suck at girlish figuring X/ ), and was a bit fatter (I was 124 or so when I drew Chase, and this was at my fattest in my life, but I rounded his defaultive weight at 125-130).
Hair: Short story. I woke up one day, and due to how my hair is, I had most all of my hair neatly pulled back, save for that bang right there. How my hair managed to mold itself like that, I will never know. Out of fun and a story mechanic, Chase used to have two bangs and had crazy long hair, but due to story elements, his hair is messily lopped off and only one long bang is left.
Lenses: Pretty cannon AND connected to me. Chase's eyesight is fairly bad, and using higher level skills of water/ice manip strains his eyes (think Witch Hunter Robin). Also, I have a pair of blue lensed glasses.
Patterns: See how his right (HIS) arm and left leg are not dark? My left leg is messed up and I can't run/have too much weight (body or lifting) on it or it'll buckle, or break for good. And my right arm is messed up (it feels out of place, and has a sharp pain in certian situations/moods, and when I sneeze too hard).
Key: I wear a set of keys around my neck. Not all the time (thanks to a work thing I had from beign a security guard and dealing with a methhead D= Yay. ), I don't wear them as much, but I wear them quite often. Three skeleton keys (two the same size, one smaller, all of them 300 years old).
extra facts:
*out of personal interest and Chase being a furry fandom made character, he is able to undergo many of the furry themes, such as fattening/weight gain, inflation, macro/micro/hyper growth and other such things.
*the eye color is my own and favorites. Raiku also has green, but what kept my color from changing is the fact Raiku doesn't have pupils, and Chase does.
*The caramel brown nose and paw pads where a random color I looked at. However, he tongue and fleashy bits (which I didn't pick untill way later) are a mix of a nice shade of pink and blue, blending into the purply blue color he has now.
*Chase has a gender counter part, Fetch, who is a female and has a golden key/chain. This too has reasons and is cannon.
*Soda inflation is by far mine (and Chase's) type of inflation.
*Chase and me have pretty much spot-on mind, thought, and personalies. The ONLY difference is I buff out a lot of my stupid me-ness and darker qualities, matching to what a more normal, happier me would be like.
