Welcome to my Quest thread for a Fugu Sushi, the most deadlist sushi out there! More than 100 people die a year from this meal, which will make for one sadistic and poisonous GoGo that I would love to take care off!!

Puffer fish is rarely made into sushi, it is normally cut in to very thin raw slices that can be served with ponzu dipping sauce, this is called Fugu-sashi. Another type is Fugu-chiri where Vegetables and fugu are simmered in konbu dashi soup in a large pot as well as Fugu Kara-age which is when the fugu is floured and deep fried and if you thought that was strange enough there is even Fugu Hire-zake, where the grilled fin of the fugu is put in hot sake drink.

I have decided to take a twist with Fugu sashi and have the thin slices placed on top of rice and served with the sauce.

This dish is extremely expensive and can cost between $100 - $200 per person at a famous restaurant, but around $15-$20 at small places.

Pufferfish
Japanese Cucumber
Sushi Rice

Ponzu Sauce: mixture of citrus juice and soy sauce
