Swell Day
A sky is bright as sun is day
Maybe I’ll just be okay
A feeling of such joy at hand
It’s so much like a life as grand!
Now I know where I belong
This world is good as life is long
Today is good, so is later on
Let’s give it a shot; I’m here to stay.
Tomorrow is happier, today is too
I’m here and now I am with you.
How long have I been on my own?
When did it appear as good a tone?
As warm as touch, I feel pride.
Now I know what I feel inside.
A time so great is never late.
So maybe I can relax and wait.
I nod my head. I smile too.
Today I know I’ll be with you.
Tomorrow is the same as well
