:: History :: Kuhn Halax grew up as a smart boy, always wishing to stay indoors and learn. Learning; it was his goal to know everything. His father would laugh when he spread his arms wide, saying he wanted to know
thissss much. As those times passed and Kuhn got interested in other things, like the pretty girls around the Kingdom, things got stranger. With his knowledge Kuhn knew that something was not right in the land of Kurah; something was stirring. But time progressed and that feeling went away.
For a week or two.
At his eighteenth birthday, the young Prince was adorned with a model crown similar to his father's. He had turned to face them on that pedestal, huge cake in front of him, his father and sister smiling at him. The crowd of nobles and people of importance cheered behind him, hollering and whooping for him to smash his face into the cake. Kuhn smiled happily and did so, the guests letting out a massive roar as they heard the splatter. He came back with a face covered in cream, turning to face his sister. His father had gone, and the princess made a fake coughing gesture.
He's sick.And over the next year, things only got worse. He noticed things changing in his father's normal routine, the usual rosy cheeks dying down; his large figure had slimmed a bit, the servants saying he had been refusing to eat. Kuhn only stared in horror as he saw the corpse of his father, on his birthday, hanging from the ceiling, a note stuck in his chest from an arrow. And as Kuhn struggled to reach it, eyes filled with tears, he only read-

:: Character Name :: Fairyhn Mairahn (lol even I have no idea how to pronounce that)
:: Race :: Human
:: Age :: 17
:: Powers :: She can read people's minds, easier when they are sleeping
:: Alignment :: She stands wherever Kuhn does, honoring his choices
:: Commanding Officer :: Kuhn Halax
:: History :: As a child it was normal for her parents to fight, usually her father screamed about her being a 'freak' always caring what the neighbors thought. What the King thought on one of His people being different like she was. One night it got too out of control and a candle, plus several after, got knocked down, burning her small home to the ground. The seven-year-old was rescued by her neighbors, her Aunt Lydia taking her to the King. Lydia believed Fairyhn's psychic abilities would come in handy to His Highness and the child was appointed to help Kuhn whenever he needs it.
When informed of the King's death she broke out in tears for the kind man's lost life and how horrible Kuhn must have felt. He had made her feel at home, not like she was a servant. It also meant she would now be in direct order of the new King. Kuhn.
:: Appearance :: [X]:: Side Notes :: She's constantly teasing Kuhn in anyway she can, usually sneaking into his room at night and seeing his dreams (yes, even the naughty ones) which she uses against him. She's had a small crush on the Prince since she was eleven.

:: Character Name :: Baron Runald Aidoneeken
:: Race :: Human
:: Age :: 43
:: Powers :: Unknown
:: Alignment :: Serves under Kuhn Halax; stands his ground on his own decisions, but will respect his superiors'.
:: Commanding Officer :: Kuhn Halax
:: History :: Baron Runald Aidoneeken's past was unknown. The Baron, who was a boy at the time of his discovering, had said he came from a small village that had been burned down; he was the only survivor. He was adopted into the military and was a servant boy in the castle. He was a shiny new Lieutenant in the Kingdom's army at the time of Kuhn's birth- his own promotion party was ditched for the Kingdom ball that night. Runald had walked into a once busy bar, nothing left in it but two of his best soldier-comrades who stayed behind with him. They smiled, obviously forcing it, the cake's frosting hardening next to them on a table. He sighed, and told them they could go as well; the bartender left the young Lieutenant Runald with his now stale cake, fumbling with streamers in his hands and cheering grimly.
By the time the young Prince had gotten to an adolescent, the once Lieutenant Runald was now a glorious Baron, controlling a small settlement of the Kingdom's population that had expanded. He watched over it like his King had, but mockingly- he would always say something towards the old Halax whenever he had the chance, mumbling it under his breath and cursing loudly. "I could probably just
kill that man!" he would yell at the birthday celebration of the old King, stepping up to the old King at the coronation with a rubber knife held to his throat, both breaking out into laughter after a serious stare down. Good friends as they were, Baron Runald grew... distant after each of Prince Kuhn's birthdays. King Halax had noticed this and, just a month before his death, set out a side group to try and figure out what was up with his faithful Baron. Then came that horrible day, the King's limp carcass hanging over Kuhn's now blood drenched cake; the Baron stood in the corner, no expression on his face, nothing whatsoever. He just stared up at his dead friend, looking into lifeless eyes, an emotion never showing...

:: Character Name :: Father Nuroc
:: Race :: Human, graced with an angelic-like lifespan and spirit
:: Age :: 112
:: Powers :: Blessed in a way to have a triple-the-time lifespan of an average human
:: Alignment :: Has an angelic manner to himself, the old priest stands where his religion does
:: Commanding Officer :: Kuhn Halax
:: History :: Father Nuroc was born along with the first settlement of the Kingdom Hal. As he started to age, his parents could tell that he was going to be a true and kindly soul to those around him. He always wore a smile on his face and helped out whoever needed it- Nuroc had long since forgotten his last name. The spiritual little child was head of his studies, even though there wasn't much to learn at that time; he had always felt the need to go out and reach those around him, not stay locked up in some stuffy room with children who want to roughhouse. He had kept to himself, usually reading the Book of Faith over and over, memorizing each detail. It intrigued him so.
By the time Nuroc was an adult, he had kept his soul pure and never committed adultery before marriage. Some scoffed on him for this, while others truly nodded their heads at the great role model before them. His parents had died in a truly disgusting way - his father was chopped up into bits, his entrails hanging his head to the ceiling of their small home. His mother was found with a cut open throat, beautiful face bloodied and covered in a sticky substance. He later found out she was violated before they terminated her lifespan. The death of his parents had no effect to Nuroc, so it seemed to the others; each time they had asked him what was wrong, he simply responded it was all "His" plan. Confused, he would tell them to attend his masses and they would understand.
The rumors of the growing settlement piled up, most of them being the death of his parents. He had listened in on them, refining down the facts; three bandits who wore barks for masks had come in the night, doing the same to other families besides Nuroc's. After each story and rumor, each tale and fact, his face never changed as the gossipers went on and on. He would bid them farewell and, in a few weeks, the three bark-faced men were dead at his feet, no wounds whatsoever. He only stood before their lifeless corpses, muttering a few words with the Book of Faith in his hand. The settlement, now a fiefdom, had heard about this - he was well known as the "Purifier" and "His Messenger." Nuroc only smiled as the titles were said to him, saying, "He will bless you."
Years passed, and the generations of Halax did as well. At the death of the Fourth King Halax, Prince Kuhn Halax's father, he had put him down to rest. He has been silent ever since, barely being heard at his masses and whispering to communicate. His eyes lost that special glow, and his manner somewhat died down. It was still there, but faded. Most said it was the age he was, one hundred and twelve. Others say it was time for him to retire from the holy work. Hypocrites even said
he was the one who killed King Halax and was now ashamed of it, giving the reason to his new silent and solemn figure.
But who knows. They could all just be rumors. Right?
:: Appearance :: [X]:: Side Notes :: Is always found with a Book of Faith's copy in his left hand.
