 "I can go find some apples?" Gregory asked himself aloud as he walked a long the edge of the village. He shook his head
"Naah not hungry" he answered back, which was surprising in it's self because Greg was ALWAYS hungry even if it was a little snack. He kept trying to come up with something to do as he walked along kicking a small stone. Being a lazy bum and all Greg just wasn't that creative coming up with something to do by himself and for himself. Usually he was dragged along on one of his humans long forest hikes or something but she was busy today and Gregory was to "Go make his own friends." He mocked the way she said it, even tho the tone he mocked was imagined and he got the words mixed up. Gregory was to go make friends of his own kind. Amad and Gregory we quit a pair he always trying to get her to open up and she trying to to not be so lazy and make more friends. Again his motivation and lack of imagination held him back slightly. So for now he occupied himself by kicking the rock and trying to think of something to do.

Borais walked along the shadowed path, his normally bright coat covered in the dust and debris of a long journey. He was tired, but had a feeling that today he would come to the end of the wanderings that had taken him from his mountain home.
The forest around him was full of scents, not the least of which were those of numerous soquili. Intermingled with them was the odd tang of two-legger scent, which surprised the dark stallion a little. Spirits above knew that the two leggers he had encountered were not friends of his kind!
He stopped when he heard an odd sound.
pock...pock...pockpock....
What in the world could that be? The wind shifted and he caught the fresh scent trail of another stallion - coming closer to him as it grew stronger.
He waited, to see if this one would be friend or foe.

Along he walked kicking his stupid rock not paying attention to where he was going or who he almost walked into. Gregory looked up to see another stallion and out of instinct he froze up and stood in a defensive stance forgetting all about the dumb rock. He stood there like that for what seemed like an eternity because this was so foreign to him but it was really only a few seconds. Gregory let himself relax he was sapoused to be making friends and whether or not this stallion was interested Greg wasn't interested in fighting, he could get beat up for all he cared. He stared for a moment longer then opened his mouth and spoke
" Whoa there guy...you startled me" Greg gave an easy chuckle mostly meant for himself. He gave the other stallion and good look over, he looked like he'd been traveling for a while he was dirty and maybe looked a little hungry. Sighing as his two leggers voice spoke in the back of his head about helping others Gregory spoke again.
"You look like you could use a bath maybe something to eat?" he turned his head to the side thinking for a moment.
"I know a nice place to do both not far from here if you want?" Gregory turned and began slowly walking away from the outskirts of the village towards the forest and the beach. He did know a good spot with a nice cool pond a few apple trees and some other good grasses.

A rock. The strange stallion had been kicking a rock?
"Didn't mean to startle you," Borias answered as the other began to walk away. "I wasn't sure who was coming, being new here."
He began to follow the other stallion agreeably. "A bath would be nice. I don't normally look quite so disheveled!" He gave a shudder, causing a small cloud of dust to surround him for a moment.

" It's ok I just didn't except anyone to be around here" he gave a friendly smile and watched as the other stallion created a cloud of dust, even as he moved he looked like he was letting off tiny puffs of dust.
"Looks like you made quite a trip mind if I ask where you travelled from?" Gregory gave him a once over and almost blinking in surprise as he could see now that he actually looked that he was a very oddly colored horse..or to Gregory at least hadn't seen anything like it before.
"I'm Gregory by they way" he introduced himself politely remembering that Amadahy would be furious with him later if he wasn't behaving himself.
