Ok. biggrin Guidelines...guidelines...guidelines... I guess the same rules would apply here that apply in the guild, so... Here they are again. xd Drag0nblue Welcome to Dragon Cave Guild. Post, have fun, and thanks for joining!!! Here are a few rules (just so everyone can get along). 1. Follow all Gaia Tos. 2. Entrance fee is non-refundable. 3. Be polite, considerate, friendly, and helpful to everyone. 4. Advertising is fine, as long as that's not all you do. 5. Bumping is fine, too, as long as that's not all you do. 6. You will be given one warning before being banned. Warning will be sent by PM. If PM can not be sent to you, you will automatically be banned. 7. Anyone not following the rules will be banned. If this isn't what you meant, please feel free to post the needed guidelines. biggrin Thanks!! xd

perhaps we should set up a pinned thread where we can list up our characters we are planning on using? a form we can fill out with details of the characters and stuff, so that is all collected on one spot?

Just an opinion on a few rules:
-No godmodding (its annoying)
-No puppeting (its rude and gets confusing when your character has been dragged off when you had plans for it)
-No bumping or ads (it makes it messy and it pointless to read in the middle of an RP and for those who like to print out and read it wastes ink)
-Don't quote a quote (Makes your normally short post of a few words look as if it is five pages long due to a pyramid of quotes)
And a simple RP character sheet that I use for a few RPs that I have done is:
Name:
Age:
Skin color:
Eye color:
Hair color:
Clothing:
Special abilities:
Weapons:
Bio:
Interesting facts we should know:
Just trying to help =]

that's a good sheet, just a few adds could be
Weaknesses:
Strengths:
Special marks(scars,tattoos):
Put in some negative things aswell about the characters as they can't be all good, all good makes it easier to godmod rolleyes

I know.
I usually put that stuff under extras, but some people might not think of it, so it would be good to add to the sheet.
I won't be RPing because I have way to much to deal with in real life. Though I love to help set up =]

Yes, RP'ing is when you are writing a story playing a character and together with other people slowly evolve further. It's fun.
Kirkeymonster: Yeah, most people always forget that all characters have at the least one weakness and with no weaknesses, how are you suppose to be defeated? I'll help set it up too ^.^ I never actually RP'd on gaia before, I only RP elsewhere confused

Well. It wont be starting anytime too soon from what I can tell. We need more people to sign up and a story line. Oh, and Sportsfan a sample from an rp that I have done before is this: Quote: Sun walked into the Wolf Tribe Town headed straight for the bar. "Ila, have you seen Wolfmoon this morning?" She asked the nice lady. "No I havent" was her reply. "Ok well Im gonna go find her. We will be back here for breakfast soon enough" Sunfox said politely and walked out. "Where could she be?" Sun thought to herself. "The inn? no..she has her own place. Her place? haha..moon sleeping at this time..funny... Hmm....the Weaponry? maybe" She had this mental arguement with herself while she walked down the street. She walked towards the weaponry, walking in to see Wolfmoon and Blaze sitting there. "Hello Blaze. Good morning Moon!" I said cheerily. You tell what you are doing, what you say, etc. It isn't just a bunch of dialogue.

We also need to decide who is going to be the 'gameMaster' who can move the storyline further if we get stuck and rp a scene forever and ever sweatdrop

Yes, but are they a leader-type enough of a person to make it happen? It's hard getting the rp to move forward and I made the mistake with some of my rp's in the past :/ Perhaps two GMs would be recommended?
