So there is some controversy over this. Stephenie Meyer said she couldn't answer that question because it might be a spoiler to breaking dawn. Some people think it will create a vamp/wolf hybrid, and some think it wouldn't do anything. And some people, like me, think it would kill them.
The reasons I think this are: -If the only thing that would kill a vampire besides another vampire is a werewolf, then logically the only thing that would kill a werewolf besides another werewolf is a vampire.
-Everything about the werewolves is engineered to kill vampires, and everything about a vampire is engineered to kill...well, everything. Even their smells offend the other, as a warning. They are mortal enemies.
-If werewolves are physically engineered to hate and kill vampires, then their bodies should reject anything that might make them one of the enemies. So it would either not affect them...or kill them.
I think that might happen in BD. Jacob could get bitten, and die.
Actually, I'm 50/50 over whether or not it doesn't affect them or kills them.

I'm tempted to say a vampire-werewolf hybrid, only because I've just seen Underworld for the first time. Other than that, I think a vampire biting a werewolf in this series would have a negative effect on both. Think about it. Werewolves and vampires are physically enemies as well; their bodies cannot not stand each other, hence the stench they both smell. I think that werewolves must have some defensive mechanism in their bodies that activate when a vampire bites them, for example, perhaps their blood turns into a more concentrated form of the stench that vampires cannot stand, similar to how a vampire's venom is like a more concentrated form of their scent. If the venom manages to get through, however, I think that may have a dire effect on both.
Whoa, mini rant.

Normally, I would have an opinion, but I'm clueless as to what would happen. I guess a hybrid? I hope that happens in Breaking Dawn. It'd be so cool! =D

I'm going to say hybrid, although I don't have a concrete reason why - maybe it's just wishful thinking for BD.

I'm not sure. That has me thinking now. (Even though it's 9:17 in the morning where I am) Hm. I honestly do not have an oppinion here. I would liek to say it dosn't bother them, but how else would a vampire kill a werewolf? (I mean besides ripping their limbs off) Now I will have something to ponder today. biggrin

Just because she said she doesn't want to ruin Breaking Dawn by answering, doesn't mean it's actually going to happen. I mean, if she said nothing would happen, wouldn't that kind of ruin it too?
I'm sorry if I don't make any sense, It's like, 12:17 at night, I had to march for like two hours today, I'm listening to music, and yelling at my sister all at the same time. So yeah. Sorry. x]

I think that it would not affect them. Werewolves exist to battle vampires, and in the tribe legends the two vampires had to rip the werewolves apart pretty badly for them to die. Furthermore, it takes shredding and burning a vampire to kill it, yet the werewolves are not concerned about facing the army of newborns. If a single bite from one could kill them, don't you think it would be mentioned somewhere in the legends as a warning, and don't you think the werewolves would take fighting vampires a little more seriously? Besides, I don't recall a vampire biting a werewolf in any of the previous books, I think they just recall them using their hands to fight. The smell is too repulsive to them, they wouldn't want to get any of that blood in them by biting them. If I recall, Edward says that he can't imagine a vampire even sticking their nose close enough to a werewolf scent over a day old to try to track Bella through it. That is my opinion though, I could easily be mistaken.

I think it wouldn't do anything, i don't know why.
Vampires and Werewolves are opposites but they're kind of also like balanced forces, so i don't that that the vampire poison would effect a werewolf... maybe that's what the quote was about yesterday! 0.o
