It's midnight, blue moon's kiss.
I stare at the ceiling, trying to sleep.
Forget all else, it's you I miss.
You moved away, you've got a promise to keep.
You promised me I could see you again,
And though every minute drags into hours,
I'd wait an eternity just to hold your hand,
And I promise to kiss your heart's tender flower.
As the night drags on, I finally doze.
Am I dreaming? Who's at my bedroom door.
It must be an illusion, my mind knows,
But my heart truly believes it's the girl I adore.
She slowly walks in, not making a sound.
I can read everything from her eyes and her face.
Her heart yearns for me, and it's me that she's found.
She climbs on the bed and she's in my embrace.
She slowly moves closer, a kiss she intends
Her soft, perfect lips touch onto mines
I wish this moment would never end.
I open my eyes. Through my window, the sunlight shines.

So how are they? My poems are few and far between, but I hope I can learn to write poems faster and write more poems. It usually takes me about a week or two to finish writing a poem. o.O
