Guinevere was sitting on the bench, her arms folded neatly in her lap. She was waiting for Kotatsu to finish shopping, and her legs kicked absentmindedly as she looked at the sun set against the sky. it would be dark soon. She liked the night, as much as a young girl enamored of witchcraft should, but secretly she thought maybe she preferred the dawn. She flushed guiltily. Any real witch would prpbably be ashamed of her. She stroked Pucci, who had been grumpily dragged out of the house for the shopping expedition on, humiliation of humiliations, a LEASH. She could tell he was affronted. Cats weren't supposed to wear leashes. But Kotatsu had insisted he come since the last time they left him alone he brok a vase and she wanted him to know that such antics Would Not Be Tolerated. Guinevere supposed Kotatsu had to discipline SOMEbody. She certainly didn't know how to discipline Guinevere.

The sun had also distracted Ophelia as she followed closely behind Dmitri. She had always loved the colours in the sky at this time of day, even more so today because she wasn't watching it from their backyard which was normally the only place she really ever went so she could see it. It distracted her enough that she didn't notice when Dmitri stopped in front of her and she walked right into him.
"Watch it," he snapped back at her in one of his moods.
"I'm sorry," she said weakly.
The man let out a sigh, "Look why don't you just wait here, I'll come back and get you when I'm done getting what I need to get."
"No, please, let me come with you," Ophelia said, looking up at him large eyes.
"Ophelia, please..." Dmitri muttered as he rubbed his temple, a sure sign he was getting annoyed with his charge.
She looked down and tried hard not to let herself show that she was upset, so she just nodded.
"Alright, then just sit on a bench or something I'll be back later to get you," he said and with that went off to find the store he needed and what he was looking for, leaving the little herald all alone.
She stood there, where he left her for a little while before going to look for these benches that Dmitri had mentioned. She didn't have to look that far, there was one fairly close by, however there was someone else sitting on it already, a young girl. Ophelia approached slowly, while she was normally a very shy person, Dmitri had told her to wait on a bench and thats what she intended to do.
"Um, may I sit here?" Ophelia asked, shaking a little.

So what is Sirene had been in a panic all afternoon? Truth was, she had it coming, at least, Yuki felt like the woman did. Not long after leaving their home, Sirene had dropped Yuki off at a small playplace near the shopping mall. Leave it to teenagers more worried about their boyfriends to watch over small children. They had left the door open and if gave Yuki the perfect chance to get out and leave behind the crying brats who kept cutting themselves on her new wings.
Now, she stood, near a darkening sky as she watched the sun starting it's tradition of the night. As she stood there, a small voice caught her attention. Low and behold, there, where some how she had not noticed, a bench with two other winged creatures were.
Leaning her head to the side, Yuki decided that maybe she would see if she could take a seat. Anything was better than standing. So, slowly, she moved towards the bench and one side that wasn't taken. Glancing at the sky, she let out a small smile. "Who knew the idea of darkness could make something so beautiful." She stated just within ear shot as she glanced from one girl to the next and then to the empty spot on the bench.

Guinevere jolted, causing Pucci to hiss as her small hand bumped up against him. "Oh, of course." she said in surprise, lifting up the cat to place him on her lap. Pucci settled there grumpily and Guinevere bit her lip. Heis paws tickled as he settled down. The girl seemed to be a little shaky and shy. Guinevere decided to make introductions. "I'm guinevere." she said, sticking a hand out in front of the girl's face. "And this is Pucci, my guardian's cat." She titled her head at the girl. "Do you have a guardian?" As she spoke, she noticed yet another girl approaching them. "Darkness is so lonely." Guinevere responded in a melancholic tone. "At night even if you are amongst friends you might feel alone."

Yuki smiled as she head the girl answer. She had caught her name when she introduced herself to the other female that appeared. Still, the fact that she had spoke to her told Yuki that it would be alright for her to sit down on the empty side.
Pulling herself up, she glanced towards the sky and shook her head. "That is what you make of it." Looking over at Guinevere, Yuki let her smile fall and sighed before glancing down at the cat. "May I?" She asked knowing better than do almost anything before asking. Sirene had been sure to teach her that much.

Ophelia smiled and gave a nod of thanks, "My name is Ophelia," she said and politely shook Guinevere's hand and then took a seat on the bench next to her. When the question was posed about having a guardian she nodded once more, "Yes... he had to go buy something..."
As the other girl approached and the conversation about darkness passed, Ophelia stayed silent. She didn't have much to say herself on the subject, at least not much to say out loud. She wasn't a fan of darkness, but she knew the light could be just as lonely. So she sat quiet and watched the other two.

"We all draw different conclusions of things." Guinevere said offhandedly and nodded to the other girl. "He's too lazy to be dangerous, but be careful just in case." She didn't want Pucci to create a social faux pas by scrating someone. The cat twitched his ears lazily. She turned to the other girl. "Nice to meet you." she responded. "Oh, so did mine. I didn't feel like going in with her, she always takes the longest time to choose things." Guinevere shook her head at the lamentable lack of decisiveness on behalf of her guardian. "Oh, but you can pet Pucci too." she informed Ophelia.

Yuki hated to admit it but she had a soft spot for cats. Sirene hadn't let them get a pet yet so she was still trying to pick out what she wanted if some how, some way, she would get one. Reaching out, Yuki gave the small feline a smile before letting her hand rest just behind his ears.
"What a handsome kitty you are." She almost beamed. "I'm sure you are very spoiled at home."
It was then she noticed the leash that the girl was holding. Glancing up at Guinevere, she looked back at the leash before giving a wondering looking.
"My guardian is shopping as well. She left me in a care area but those older girls don't even know how to talk to someone that isn't a male." She answered without being asked, a little disgusted with the people she had left behind.

Ophelia too gave the cat a soft smile before gently running a hand down the cat's back. She would readily admit her own love of cats, quite possibly her favorite animal.
"Dmitri just leaves me on my own, he doesn't get anyone to watch me." Ophelia said softly as she continued to pet the cat. Normally the comment would bring a bit of a frown to the girl's face but she wasn't think about her guardian's neglect as much as she was thinking about the cat.

Yuki sat still for a moment before she looked up towards the other female. Her face could say it all so her voice didn't have to. Yuki found the fact that her guardian would leave her alone completely amazing! Sirene never gave her a moment alone but at home. If the woman knew that she wasn't at the day-care, Yuki could just picture how crazy she would be going.
"Lucky..." She finally sighed out before pulling her hand back from the cat and looking towards the sunset. "It's always nicer in the city."

Guinevere looked surprised. She had had more guardians than most children she had met, but she had always been accompanied everywhere by all of them. Even Kotatsu hesistated to leave her alone, though Guinevere escaped from her to get her own independence. "Yeah, it must be nice to not have to turn cartwheels for a bit of independence." But she didn't know how Ophelia felt about that. Sometimes Giinevere enjoyed having to escape her guardian just because it meant she was getting attention. "Does he do that often?" she asked hesitantly. "I mean... Does it bother you?" She scratched Pucci's head thoughtfully, and Pucci looked smug at all the attention he was getting. He let out a low purr and considered crawling onto one of the new peoples' laps. A change of scenery was always nice, after all.

Yuki remained quiet. She knew that most others didn't speak to her but that was just how she was. Still, she knew when to keep her mouth shut.
For another moment, she watched Guinevere's cat start to purr as she gave him a very warm smile. That had to be one happy cat. And why not? Three people giving him all the attention in the world? She was surprised he wasn't sick of it.
"I'm sure he's not always like that..."

Ophelia paused to think for a moment. It did bother her, she hated being alone in the house and would much prefer it if her guardian were around, and even better would be if he paid her attention when he was home. But she wasn't the only part of his life, he had other things to do.
"It's because he's busy," she said in an attempt to justify her guardian's behaviour "he is gone most of the days during the week, he goes to school so he has to, but he is home at night most of the time, he does look after me" She smiled weakly and hoped this topic of conversation would become boring soon, it wasn't the happiest of things...

Guinevere nodded. That made sense to her. "Well, keeping busy is always good." she said lightly. "My guardian usually just sits around at home, it's awfully dull." She fell into silence, not sure what to say. Guinevere, though vocal around people she felt comfortable with, was not a social butterfly around children her own age, and was surprised she had gotten so far into a conversation as it was.
Yuki was right. Pucci was getting sick of all the attention. It had been nice at first, but as a male cat, he had a definite fear of any commitment that lasted longer than five minutes. She got up with a hiss and ran away, the leash yanking out of Guinevere's hands. "Oh!" Guinevere exclaimed. "Pucci! Come back here, this INSTANT!"

Yuki could hear that the other girl wasn't enjoying talking about her guardian. Be it in her voice or the feeling Yuki got looking at her, the young herald knew the other angel wasn't happy with the way her life was going on.But Yuki wasn't the best at trying to cheer people up. She knew she was too blunt in her speaking. Ironicsince her wings were so sharp.
Yet, just as the sword angel was about try her best to change the topic, the kitten took off. "Oh!" Yuki called out looking to Guinevere. "Should we go after him?" She asked glancing, a little worried as the leash went with him. A cat could take care of himself but the leash could be caught.
