Their theories are interesting. I understand the Blackman as God concept, but I think may be interpreting it differently. I see it more as seeing the God within oneself, with a parallel to the Cradle of Life in Africa. Logic would follow that if Life began in Africa, and the Black man originated in Africa, then the Black man is the first and true Child of God.
At least that's what I think (hope) they mean.
I'm not a Five Percenter, btw.
The rest of their teachings seem sound to me. As with any church, the rest of the teachings (not written) come from the teacher, so before judging, you have to really hear what someone has to say.

Quote: That Black people are the original people of the planet Earth. That Black people are the fathers and mothers of civilization. That education should be fashioned to enable us to be self-sufficient as a people. That each individual should teach another individual according to his/her knowledge. That our children are our link to the future and they must be nurtured, respected, loved, protected, and educated. That the unified Black family is the vital building block of the nation. This is TRUTH! Seriously, I wish more people would get this through their fat heads. Ask your self, since many, many African peoples within the diaspora identify themselves as Christians...why aren't the churches teaching them the truth? Oh I know because Christianity has been manipulated by the European conquor against us. *shakes head* I no longer believe in religion, I think it's a waste becasue they don't really teach you what you need to know. I'm jus a spiritual warrior. ninja

Christianity is basicly a Religion created by the white man, no no no, IS a created by the white man, The Romans, yes i know your thinking hey hes white, what does he know, well im Jewish and i can tell you white people dont consider us white if were jewish, i get tons of shitty looks from white christians. When Black were braught here a way to, how do you say, "get along with the Whites" they started teaching themselves Christiany and saw relevance in Jesus because he was mistreated and thrown in rags like they were. Well children thats your history lesson for today, your all dismissed! mrgreen

When Black were braught here a way to, how do you say, "get along with the Whites" they started teaching themselves Christiany and saw relevance in Jesus because he was mistreated and thrown in rags like they were. Well children thats your history lesson for today, your all dismissed! mrgreen First of all what are you talking about? I was saying that since the majority of African people identify as "Christian" why do they allow them self to believe in something that was manipulated to hurt them and burry their head in the sand, rather than go back to learn about their religion? (because questioning a man made practice=questioning "God" stare ) Actually, The kingdom of Aksum officially adopted Christianity in the 4th century, a major prophet in the Bible came from Ethopia (Enoch), not to mention the garden of Eden was in Ethopia as well as the Queen of Sheba was an Ethiopian sovereign named Makeda (Magda) and that she returned from her celebrated journey to the court of Solomon in Jerusalem bearing the king's son, David, who became the first king of Ethioipia, ruling as Menelik I. Makeda's tale is told in an ancient Ethiopian book, the Kebra Negast,as well as the Ark od the Covanent is there, so yeah, "Christianity was never taught to any black man before Black cames to America", thats not accurate. Any way, most of the Africans brought to the Americas either practiced some form of the Youraba spiritual system or Islam. Ancient Africans actually had their own, native, religion. I have never, never read or heard about a predominant jewish population living in west africa at the time of the Trans atlantic slave trade. I am even more wary of believing your post considering that the Jewish population living in West Africa is only 0.00004%. Seriously, I'd really love to see the book or article you got this information from. Quote: When Black were braught here a way to, how do you say, "get along with the Whites" they started teaching themselves Christiany and saw relevance in Jesus because he was mistreated and thrown in rags like they were. You seriously made that up. How would a people start teaching themselves something that is foreign and unknown to them selves. That would be like me teaching myself brain surgery, no that couldn't happen, it's illogical. People don't just teach them self things they have no idea about, not to mention they couldn't read, write, congrigate, etc. so how would they teach themselves by the masses? Oh, I know because when Afriacn people came here they were forced to accept "Christianity". The reason we still believe it the way it's taught to us: brainwashing and fear. We don't know anything else because we don't know where we came from as well as the customs and traditions from that place. Not to mention that we went through so much trauma as slaves that the mental trauma has been passed down through the generations. In Africa spirituality was the way of life (if you nottice "Black" churches usually focus on the topics of family, community, mission work, and personal relationship with "God", these are all themes that were predominant in Ancient African religion) Since these same themes are more or less familiar to us from ancient times, we feel that Christianity is the way, and without it we are nothing. This train of thought is killing us, not uplifting us. By not addressing the truth we allow the lies and deciet to fester. It is sad that not one wants to deal with this, with our religious past, so it just gets passed on with all the other things in our culture for the next generation to get bamboozled by. This is and was my initial point. Please don't try to make it look like you have to teach me my own history, it's not cute.
