Hi everyone! I guess you all can just call me Tori. My writing isn't too great for someone who is 14, but I love to read other's writing. I won't be on for the next two weeks because band camp is starting. Well, I guess I'm going back to my corner now.

One time in band camp a girl got kicked out for screaming that she like playing the skin flute.
Oh High School, I miss thee sometimes.

Sounds like an interesting experience. The only interesting thing that has happened is that a guy threw up on our drill master. Hi Scoot!

You aren't really a band geek until you see fresh turf and decide to march on it, or so I've heard. And yes it was and awesome start to the day. xd

Duke: How is that possible? Does not compute.
I'm trying to learn trumpet right now, so I can eventually be as good as Reel Big Fish. Unfortunately, musical instruments and I broke up years ago after an angry relationship, so it'll be hard to get back together again...
...figuritively speaking. blaugh

Er. I played the flute, but I quit when I went to high school because I guess the music teacher didn't think that I was good enough to even try to play the Oboe. I also played guitar for a couple of years, but didn't have time for it anymore. I still remember stuff.. Just not much. I always wanted to learn drums.
I don't really have any interesting stories to tell about band. I thought it was boring because all we played was stupid songs. I wanted to play something like Mozart, but we got stuck doing stuff we've never heard of. To top it off we got to play the theme song for "Friends". That was fun. rolleyes
I actually think the best song we played was this Christmas song where basically it was a bunch of songs all mashed together into one.. , but my favorite part was Green Sleeves.
The flutes also had to sit right in front of the Saxophones so we couldn't really hear ourselves play. I am so glad I wasn't in High School band. I just hung out in the art rooms all the time. Nothing like 4 hours of art a day. heart
