Bio:
Hardened by an ugly past, Calope is nothing less than a force of nature. She is a pompous Maluess who carries herself with an air of dignity and importance, and has a cold, authoritative presence about her. She is often found lurking in the comfortable veil of shadows, always attentive, always watching "her" people ... for their safety, or perhaps for her own. Not a social one, Calope prefers to watch other Malu from a distance, and tends to approach them only if she is suspicious of their behavior. She believes that Malu whose lives are not completely and utterly devoted to the worship of their gods will turn traitorous, and does not approve of them straying too far from the temple or intermingling with those of other packs. She takes worship very seriously and will furiously reprimand any Malu for not paying (her idea of) proper respect. When it comes to the beliefs and customs of neighboring packs, Calope is intolerant. She has a heightened sense of pride in Rivalry, and believes all other packs to be insufficient and weak.///

Calope's strict and unreasonable rules have not gained the alpha much popularity, but she believes the majority of the pack will remain faithful to her regardless because of her strong grip on the pack and the protection she offers it. Ironically, however, the overly skeptical alpha is a traitor herself. Rather than promoting the best interests of the Rivalry Gods as a whole, she has been encouraging Malu to convert their faith solely to the Goddess of Darkness, which is frowned upon by Malu society. She has even gone to such lengths as forming a secret band of Darkness followers within the Rivalry Pack to brainwash young Malu. And she's not stopping there. Who knows how far her ambition will drive her...
And this is where the plotting comes into play. I want Calope to breed. According to Rivalry tradition, the most suitable child (preferably the first born) of the alpha pair will be named heir. As of yet, Calope has no heir, and being the (plausibly) paranoid Malu that she is, she fears that her secret will be revealed and she will be killed, leaving the pack without a leader of her bloodline. So, if the worst is to come, she wants to be prepared. She wants an heir.
This breeding will not be meant as an act of love, but as an act of business. Although Calope will love her pups in her own skewed way, they will never receive true affection from her. Not being the motherly type, she will distance herself from them. She will always demand more of them, no matter how high they climb or succeed. Her parental phrase will be "be extraordinary", yet she will never give her pups the sense of gratification that they have reached this goal. Nothing will be good enough. Naturally, some of her children may grow to resent her.
So here's the twist: Calope's skillfully hidden underground operation is going to be uncovered, and eventually sabotaged... and by her own heir. The heir will be driven to do this by whatever motive its owner may choose, whether it be resentment, concern for the well-being of the pack, ambition, etc. The goal is that Calope will be overthrown by her own pack (her children among them) and she and her Darkness followers will be forever banished in shame. The direct goal is for me to unload the burden of owning a pack alpha onto the owner of the heir. XD SO THAT'S THE UGLY TRUTH. 8D
OOC-wise, the breeding would work like any of other, except that one extra, specially-colored pup will be thrown into the litter for me to give out via RP contest. This pup will be the heir to the Rivalry Pack, and its owner will take charge of the pack, IC and OOC. The owner of the father cannot keep this pup unless that person wins the RP contest. Other than that, it's just a typical breeding. I'll do 5 or 10 logs, depending on what the other owner wants. Calope needs the RP anyways. xD///

General:
Secret-band followers, mystic/brainwashing Malu, spies for whichever side, enemies (within or otherwise the Rivalry pack) that will fight against Calope, a Rivalry nanny for her pups (because she's certainly not going to do much parenting), Malu to kick around... I don't know. xP This plot is incredibly flexible and open to tweaking by all those involved. If you have an idea or have found a creative way to get your Malu into the picture, by all means, pitch it to me. I don't bite.
Beta: *will be found via in-thread contest!
I'm looking for a beta for Calope. A beta is a Malu who is second in charge to the alpha, or in this case, Calope's crony. This beta will only be temporary; once the heir takes charge of the pack, he or she will be able to choose their own new beta. Calope's beta will be remain in the pack or be banished alongside her, depending on what path he takes in RP. The beta can be a participant in Calope's plot, or know nothing of it at all. It's up to the owner.
Mate: ~ found!
Being the power-hog that she is, Calope will not be sharing her alpha status with her mate as she is traditionally expected to. All I really need is a guy that Calope trusts (or respects, at the least) to get her knocked up. He can stay, he can go, he can be aware of the situation, he can be ignorant, whatever! I don't think it would be impossible for Calope to fall in love (there has to be a soft spot somewhere in her tough shell, right?), but I also think it's more likely that she'd pick a mate based on status, strength, friendship, etc. They could even be competitive enemies. The only requirement is that her mate be in the Rivalry Pack. ..But even then, if you have a really good idea involving a mate from a different pack, I have an open mind. Calope's already proven herself to be a hypocrite in more ways than one, so why stop here? xD
I don't care what stage this Malu is currently at, as long as you have his personality worked out. A Malu's gonna grow, no? ;D I'm in no rush.
Again, just pitch me your ideas. I'm going to be pretty lenient on this. All I ask is that you explain your ideas in detail. =)
Note - if you don't have any Malu already available for this plot, there will be a small few in-thread contests for minor roles, including that of beta. Keep watch.///

Hehehe; he's devious; evil, cares about no-one with the possible exception of maybe Achlys and even then it's more of an apprenticeship than friendship. He enjoys corrupting children. It's not hard with Achlys (she's evil by nature herself).
If I remember Loki and Achlys' last plot Loki has been living in a set of ruins away from the pack for the most part with Achlys. Pretty much solitary. (But obviously it's not a perminent thing)
I think; if he were in this plot he'd probably be coming back from being away and diving right into getting his nose into whatever he can.
He's a subtle schemer, his childhood antics growing darker as he got older.

Cruel and destructive. And considering he's all grown up, he's probably reached the point where he finds it more fun to toy with emotions than just break objects.

Well, it definitely sounds like they'd have chemisty. xd Calope wouldn't be happy about him having lived away from the pack, though.
What's your idea on how all this would play out between Calope and Loki? It seems like there are many possibilities involving their relationship. Would Loki be one of the Darkness advocates, or would he be helping her just to climb up the totem pole, so to speak?

Hehe; knowing Loki it would be a sort of love/hate relationship.
There's no way he'd ever openly admit to liking her to any degree, but he'd probably find a lot of amusement in trying to piss her off. And, knowing him, whilst he's trying to annoy her he'd actually probably give her helpful information.
I figure when he comes back he'll act like he never left for the most part.
Loki is all in all, a very lax sort of guy.
He's not so much for darkness as he is for Chaos, and he figures Chaos will be very easy to achieve just by being around and saying the right things.
He'll probably help Calope a lot in his own special way, but he'll also spend a lot of time trying to aggrivate her. XD
I can imagine lots of sarcasm between the two, and fights that end up in babies. XD
