EMERGENCE

The young adult life was never easy. And its only worse for those people who find themselves different from what seems like the whole world. Very different. In a way of which there doesn't to be any answer at all. They ask if they're living a lonely road, making appearances so they really don't have to admit the real truth. Is there others like them? Yes, but many of them aren't aware of the fact. And even if they do, they still search for the answer to the question they've been asking for the longest time.

And while life rolls on everything starts to become harder. People are harder on them. They are harder on themselves, because they don't know how to be. Some reject the real truth, and sometimes it benefits them. Yet there's always that feeling that you really aren't what you're pretending to be. That you never will be.

The world is overflowing with sex. Everywhere you go, any conversation you enter, every billboard you look at, most likely will have some relation to sex everyday. Sex is in your school, at home, amongst your friends, colleagues, family, on TV set and the Internet, in books, art, films, talk shows, magazines, newspapers, at church, at the shopping mall, and where you work. There is no escape. Sex is there, and there to stay.

So where do they fit? There's the heterosexuals, the homosexuals, and then bisexuals... But where asexuals fit? People who don't find men or women attractive? Who are indifferent to sex?

This is where they try to fit. They meet, their lives intertwine, and sooner or later, they begin to understand that maybe they actually have a place in the world. Their own story.

Their Emergence.
