It was still dark out, she had made sure of that, with the stars still dotting the sky. The Lady Moon hung low in the sky, nearly touching the edge of the Earth. There was the brief thought... could she race through the sky to touch the silvered orb before the Lady disappeared?
Nostrils quivered in the cool morning air as she contemplated it. She could probably fly and fly and fly and never touch her. Eternity turned to the other horizon, waiting.
Soon, very soon it would be sunrise. It was something she had always wanted to see.

Just before sunrise was a peculiar time of the day for Rokhan, it was too early for him to really be fulling aware of the world around him but not so early that it made him cranky. He had no idea how he'd found himself awake at this time on this particular day, but he knew the show he was in for if he watched the east long enough. Luckily for him, patience was indeed a virtue he possesed.
As he wandered, he kept an eye on the skies as he wasn't as interested in where he was going. Needless to say, he was caught quite unawares as the shimmer of fading moonlight caught the white swirls of a wind mare on the ground.
He approached carefully, to as not unintentionally frighten the winged female away, and stopped about four feet away. If she noticed him, she could choose what she wanted to make of him. No harm, no foul... At least not on his part.
