Apparently if you use the new skins from the summer events. you will use your grombie avatar, and it will return to normal.

Yes, if you use one of the new skins, you lose your grombiness.
So, if you get one of them new skins... you'll no longer be a grombie. If you have a friend who is still a grombie, give them a heads up.
