i am terrified of doing improv solos, i don't really know why either except that me+random+music=TRAIN WRECK!!!! i really need help, and since our solo guy graduated, i'm pretty much THE person who will get volunteered to do them, can anyone help?

If you want practice improving, just do what I did to get over it. Turn one your favorite music, and make up random harmonies. I have never done the last chorus of "Nine in the Afternoon" the same way. Just play along, and figure things out. Keep switching out songs, and eventually, you'll get the hang of it.
