SDCC clip =(

The part that ticked me off the most was when it said something like people who think that Katara and Zuko make a good couple would never have a lasting relationship in life. The whole thing was just rude.

canna killz themz noa?

seriously, it was to "thank the rest of the fandom"? wtf? that was giving thanks? i'd hate to see what being really mean is then!

oh yes, and not having a lasting relationship in life. yeah.... wtf?

okay i am 23. i have been in a relationship for 5 years. we are getting married in june of 09 and are starting to house hunt. i have one degree in the bag and masters almost completed. i have a steady job and can provide for myself.

shouldn't i be the kinda of person they want to not piss off? i have the (steady) money to buy their crap. i am the one who should be having babies in the next couple of years, thus providing them a new generation of audience. and although i am not their target demographic, i am the one who would have more sway with telling other parents that a certain show or network is not appropriate for their children.

i think i am going to be writing a letter. it will probably fall on deaf ears, but it will make me feel better. i was talking to my fiance about this, and telling him about how they are pissing off their fandom. which, forgive me if i'm wrong, is bad business practice. and also that they obviously don't care for half their fandom to watch future endeavors of theirs. he started laughing and say that the creators don't care. they don't care about their fandom, and they don't care about avatar.

i think he's right.

I'm not sure if I should be laughing my a** off at how utterly retarded that was, or angry because of how much they mocked and insulted us. D:

We still have our own canon. And if the Capstarians went through with their plan, they're going to be hearing "ZUTARAAAAA" war cries, probably twice as loud and angry after that.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with doing what they want with the show and going against some of the fans much better ideas, but doing something like this si just plain idiotic. They're only hurting themselves, really.

Seriously. Don't piss off your fanbase.

In reality, it's what they're doing and they're ripping down the respect built walls of their fandom that are the size of Great China Walls. Everytime I look at my NYCC poster of Zuko and the fat headed monk (formerly known as Aang), I'm half tempted to burn the thing. It disgusts me that much. The attitude they portrayed to Katessa and myself, seemed nothing but a facade, looking back at it.

They basically shot themselves in the foot and the head when pulling these jokes. You guy noticed how over half of the room when quiet when they began poking again, right?

In the words of Uncle Iroh: Disgraceful.

And I waiting for some SDCC news.

I've never seen anyone else so openly shoot down their fan's shippings.

'I never should've doubted the will of Mike and Bryan.'?
What? What?!
That really hurt. That really hurt.
Mike, Bryan, ******** you!
Ok, I have been able to take everything you have had to say, all the things you've done to the show, and not said a peep.
I put up with it. But this... This isn't cool.
Zutara was more then just a ship to me, it was almost like a promise.
A promise that people can change for the better, a promise of redemption, and a romance the world has never been privy to.
It was supposed to be amazing.
And they broke that promise, shoved it in our face, and laughed.
I wasn't really all that butthurt at first but I finally watched the whole thing through.
The line about doubting them is what got me.
Oh, I apologize, all mighty Bryke for disobeying the canon that you are FORCE FEEDING down my throat.
I don't like it, never did, and never will.
I have a habit of rooting for the underdog, because they usually work harder, never give up, and never get comfortable.
Aang was not the underdog. Never was.
Aang had everything handed to him on a silver platter, no matter what he did.
Run away? Sure, while you're at it, learn this mary-sue crap called spiritbending.
Oh, she's confused? KISS HER. Yeah, that'll make her feel great. It'll totally clear her head.
Douche >>.
And gee, while you're at it, let's eat tea, crumpets, and enjoy some good ole hippy tunes while the fire lord so gratefully joins you.
No.
Gah, sorry for the rant, I have too much to say, but I can't get it into words. Will post more if they ever come to me xD'

I HOPE MIKE AND BRAYAN HEARD ALL OF THOSE LOYAL ZUTARAIANS WHO CHEERED THEIR ASSES OFF AND CHOKE ON GUILT AND SHAME FOR GIVING INTO TO THE STUPID CLICHE MEANINGLESS POINTLESS RETARTED SHIP THAT WILL HAUNT MY NIGHTMARES FOREVER.
*Compose*
Now, that was pretty funny. especially the Azula/Aang and Tokka part. I didn't however like how they used all of that wonderful zutara fan art against us. i hope the artisits sue them. Although I do like that there were more cheers for Zutara(a lot more!) and there were more pictures. Azula and aang can have one another. They're both selfish children. I have to go cry now. But Zutara will still stay with me no matter how much people laugh at it or shred it into bits. It kicks Kataangs a**.

I actually lol'd pretty hard. It was pretty much what the couple would have been like in the hands of someone with an inept ability at dealing with complex romance.

At least the pictures were pretty.

Couldn't have said it better myself. :/

Plus, I mean, they already had EIP to do all this crap, and they probably should've spent this time answering questions and explaining the gaping plotholes they left. Namely WTF happened to Ursa. Dx

Bryke the jerk bender didn't want to put it in the movie. I guess for time reasons so they could have had all those awseome battle scenes. Or you could have cut out the stupid meaningless random Kataang moments that made even less sense and save time although maybe they already did and that why KATAANG MADE NO SENSE. They already had enough Zutara moments in there that they didn't need to waste time on it. Even Taang would have been a more understandable pair by the end of the finale. But no. We got the "WTF kiss" and no cute Zuko finds his mom moment which probably would have matched the Zuko/Iroh reunion(if possible) by 10times

I watched it, laughed, then felt hurt by it.
I'm over that initial hurt now, but I thought it was overkill.
They really could have done something more productive in that time that wasn't about shipping...like where the frick is Ursa?

Is it ok to like a show, but not the people who created it? Because this is how I feel in this case, and how I've been feeling about them for a while.

Their ego has gotten a little over the top.

I also laughed so hard at this especially the Aang azula part(honey you can have him) but what bothered me is that I knew a lot of those Zutara fan art and have seen them a lot in beautiful vids on youtube. The same videos that made me fall in love with Zutara. They ruined them and now they hold a darker meaning and its hard for me to see them without thinking...we lost eek

Two more videos that have eased some of the initial pain of that video (though I'm still mad at them for mocking us with our own art. Dx).

'Zutaralivs!" =D Greenifyme, You're a genuis.
"To like 50% of the fans in the room who are mad about Zutara issues..."

For the fanart contest, two of the winners are Zutarian artists. 8D Proof that we have better art. ~<3

Edit: I just noticed that at the end of that short, when there's that cutesy Kataang pic, Kataang is spelt wrong. xD There's only one 'a'.
