This may be a ******** moment for some people, but I'm excited.
For the first time in my life, I have over $1000 dollars.
Which really isn't the case. I've got a high-interest CD account with like 20K in it, that is technically in my name, but it's the account my grandparents gave me to pay for college, which is what I intend to do with it. So it doesn't really count.
But working part time this summer, so far, I've finally managed to save over $1000 that I can do whatever the ******** I want to with. Like an actual $1000 in my personal checking account.
It feels like when you're a kid doing chores for 50cents and someone suddenly hands you a 20bill.

b***h, I just renewed my Certificate of Deposit to get good Bank interest for $5000. All my money, all earned by me. talk2hand

Dr Entropy @ Egga: Isn't that your college money? Technically. I mean, my dad told me I had to make about $8000 by college, but I can do whatever I want with my money, keeping in mind that if i spend a shitload, I have to earn it back. So really, I'm 5/8 done, so I'm not really worried about it, since next summer I plan on getting another supplementary job to bring in a little more so I can not worry about it for another year and a half. xd

jfm567 im not really a saver. its hard for me. i'm a saver, but angel isn't. crying i've had a bank account since i was three years old...he got his first one when he joined the army and they made him, lol. it makes for quite an interesting marriage... yeeeah, interesting's the word... heart @angel!

I remember when I made my first grand, then ended up spending it on s**t for a car that I can't even drive because it is such a pile of trash.
I got my account up to around $4000 by the beginning of the summer, and by the end, it'll sadly be down around $1000, stupid trips that I have to pay for on my own. I'm still split on whether I want to buy a new laptop for college with that grand, just because the one I have now is just like that car I put money into, a total piece of trash. ninja

I never have money I spend it as quickly as possible if I can. Mostly on bills nowadays though.
EDIT: but yeah what are you going to use your 1000 dollars on???

Well, I promised some friends I'd go to Anime Weekend Atlanta this year (though I'm not wearing a ******** costume). But that will be at least $350 in expenses. As for the rest, I haven't decided yet. Maybe I'll buy a really nice flashlight. You can always use a better flashlight.
