Right, It is th summer and i am sure that many of us will be going on holiday so will not be able to post.
I think people should just put the dates that they will not be there so that it can be worked into the roleplay, or it would just look stupid.

I am not going to be here on the following dates
Sunday 27th July through to Monday 4th August
Thursday 14th August through to Thursday 28th August

I'm going to be absent some time next week for about two days. I will have computer access at the hotel we're staying at, but I'm not sure how long I'll have on the computer.
