I think stewarts new scheme and number are really cool. well they don't have a picture I can put on yet, but go to NASCAR.com to see. Here is the link for both schemes. I think they will look better with all the sponsor decals on the sides. http://jayski.com/schemes/2009/14cup.htm

Since the end of last year, Haas is one of those teams I'd just have liked to see go under. They dumped they're drivers from last year, who kept the cars in the top 35 all season, then this year, they have two new drivers, who lately couldn't turn a steering wheel to save their life, and at a few points in the season they called once again on Johnny Sauter (who was "let go" after last season) to help them qualify a car.
I just have no respect for Haas, much like Chip Ganassi.

They were both good teams and I do disagree with what they did last year, but look what they did this year. They are one of the few teams that has absolutely no worry about financial aspects. That is why they will be good fast. Haas is a very rich person that will buy what it takes to win.

Kurokage Sanada so was ginn........i don't care for these paint schemes Ginn wasn't as rich as Haas. I forgot what business he started in the 1980's but I do know it is the largest in the world. And Ginn started and quit. Haas has been in the sport for 10 yrs.

Haas created a faster CNC machining device. And sold it at a much cheaper price than other companies at the time. (How cheap I don't really know but I would venture around 25,000 to 50,000...). Its not very large either espicially seeing that Haas is in jail now, He gets out in a another year. His company is also dwindling aswell, a decade ago he had no competiiton but the other manufactures quickly caught up as he spent his time focused on his race team and not his overall business. stare So yeah hate to tell you but Haas is near chapter 13 (bankrupt ) , Ginn in fact does have the bigger paycheak... hard to collect the grass when your cleaning it in jail...

Um, that's not true, Haas has been getting better and better. He has all the dollar signs in the right places. He even said that money will be no issue for him anytime in the near future. And by the time that will have come, the organization will be where it needs to be.

This probably one of the reasons why haas allowed a 50% stake in the team, everyone wins, stewart gets his own team, he get's less of the bills and peformance goes up.

I agree Haas had to cough up multi-millions and serve time. In fact Haas no longer even owns his own company or team the gov't forced him to relinquish it to his wife. When the bills didn't come in they needed a way out... *in comes Stewart with a superman cape* TAHDAH! xd

Joe Custer (I belive his name is) is controlling the team right now and Haas a Custer both stated that money is no issue. Don't forget, they are the team with all the great technology. They have the only wind-tunnel of its kind and the shaker jig they have. He bought these because he has money to spend. Hendrick and Roush can't afford them. How could he do this if he has no money. He just wanted to attract a big driver, so he can have a chance to win a race. And with big drivers come big sponsors. He is a lot like Robby Gordon, he has a crapload of money so he doesn't have to worry about financial aspects.

Robby gordon has connections from the other forms of motorsports he has been involved in, I don't know where gordon gets his money, but unless gordon expands his own team he will never improve. Haas could be a billionare, but if your company is losing millions of dollars, your going to do something to correct the problems, in this case bring in stewart.

HAHA dude the only reason why Haas got the tunnel was because he sold the rights to his device to a wind tunnel company. He didn't pay squat for it. However though by doing that, Penske says it will in fact cheapen the costs of buying one once they intergrate it with Haas cnc tech... this could prove interesting donw the road... question Anyway I got off track for a sec, And yes you are right Custer is the "unofficial owner" of the team. Haas's wife just signs the checks. Custer himself has very lil cash himself I'm afraid (Spent it all on trying to revive his old team back). Gene does though still have great equipment though coming from Hendrick. And as for Robby.. he is a lot like Michael Waltrip plenty of partnerships with companies who he helped in the past... Money himself... well he isn't hurting for cash.. but he is still badly looking for a merger with someone with either cash or more sponsorship. sweatdrop

He has a lot of money, but he doesn't feel like blowing it all in NASCAR on his mid-level teams. So he is bringing in Stewart, probably Newman, and some really good sponsors. All this so he is making money in the sport instead of losing or just breaking even. I do agree, Robby Gordon needs to make a change quick, like merge or build on his team now which is what he wants to do, start a second team.

CrossFire43 I believe that he should either hook up with Ray or Petty... well then again why not Chip either stare Well supposedly MWR and chip are merging. But I think he should merge with Petty or Ray. If he doesn't do that, then he needs to upgrade and build on his team.
