My javazon is really good now so I was thinking of making a paladin, but the thing is I cannot decide which to make. Foh or hammers.
Foh would be handy for all those damn sorceress' that just teleport around in duels, but it is also one of the worst skills to quest with.
Hammers rapes in pvm and usually in pvp too, unless ofcoarse they keep running...
Any opinions would be helpful.

I would go with Hammerdin. If you have not made a hammerdin yet in 1.10, then u are truly missing out. An FoH pally will be nice for PvP, but will do absolutely HORRIBLE in PvM. Also, FoH is easily beaten by a 4 ptopazed shield (160 lit res). Making a hammerdin will mean that you have the BEST PvM character, as well as one that can do some good in PvP as well. Hammerdins are not the best PvP character, but they can more then hold their own, and should have no problem beating any melee character.

Make a hammerdin, FoHers are always looked down upon no madder how good of gear you have. You will not regret making a hammerdin, you can kill anything in quick time smile

Bah, this always happens. Equal ammounts of people on either side.
Some are saying make foh because hammers suck without enigma.
Some are saying the exact opposite....

Sorry for the double post, but I'm going for hammerdin. Even if their not the best for dueling, I can still atleast have fun with them....and maybe do some pit runs aswell. Who knows I might find that elusive templars might.

I'm building a hammerdin but it doesn't seem effective unless the hammers hit the target. I mean, just because you have a bunch of hammers flying around you doesn't mean they'll hit that monster that runs up and destroys you. Like those gloams or those little guys in the jungle.
Sorry, this is my first hammerdin. I don't have much pally experience.

Sorry, this is my first hammerdin. I don't have much pally experience. it definately takes some practice to get used to using a hammerdin. I once talked to another guy on another forum and he told me how he SUCKED with his hammerdin, despite using GODLY gear. I told him, that he just has to learn how to play with a hammerdin better, and he will get better.

Like gimpy said, it just takes practice. I too sucked with mine when I first started, despite what some people may thing playing with a hammerdin does take skill. You have to know exactly where the hammer starts out, especially in pvp. If they get in your blind spot your pretty much screwed.
I have to say though, the only thing that makes me mad with them is doing the maggot lair....

nomally i just make sure the monsters are from 10-1 like a clock face cos it seems that the hammers do the most damage then sweatdrop my advice would be to try get "underneath" the monster or groups of monsters O_o;; b4 spamming the hammers
