Depression
A world of darkness fills the screen.
Deadly depression taints the scene.
I dont see the world - I'm locked away
within the dark vortex, a spiraling display.
Haunting thoughts scream through my mind.
Hinted terror is all that I find.
The wounds in my heart are all gaping wide.
I'm now only wanting to go run and hide.
I'm drifting in a sea of pain as my hopes and desires depart.
I'm drowning under all my sorrow while I'm being torn apart.
I'm always on the verge of tears,
trying to hold back all of my fears.
My crystal tears are all turning red
from all of the horrible blood thats been shed.
The pain is deepening every day,
never ever going away.
I'm falling more deeper down the hole called insanity,
slipping farther and farther from reality.
I see a bright figure amidst all the darkness,
but from my point of view she was like a pretty goddess.
She took hold of my hand, she pulled me up near,
and it was at that moment that she looked familiar.
She seriously looked like a friend that I knew,
but I saw right then a misfortune was due.
The girl lost balance and was about to tip,
so in desperation I broke free of her grip.
Minutes later as I started to cry,
I realized that I was going to die.
