My future kingdom.. And home...
Golden eyes of a frog-colored cheetah cub scanned over new grassy lands, taking in the wondrous sight that they had to offer. Clouds above, both fluffy and bright, rolled on by, the savanna winds pushing them along. A nearby river babbled with life, the occasional fish jumping out of the water, a sparkling trail of water droplets following in it's wake. His eyes were wide and his facial features were set, a smile adorning his petite maw.
"Mother...." He used a black-tipped paw to point out to the lands, his golden orbs stuck on it's swaying grasses and bright orange flowers. "Beautiful..."

Beside the small cub was the large white form of a female cheetah, watching in admiration towards her son. She was lucky, she thought, to manage the coalition as well as her very small family. Aailyah could only imagine other leaders and how they could juggle their many tasks. While the female understood she had a duty, the entire coalition valued family so strongly, it was understable to hear that she needed to spend an afternoon with the small prince.
Hearing his voice call out to her and then speak of the land's beauty, the mother could only beam with happiness. Her son was certainly something else, to be born with an appreciation of what was around him was something quite special for someone his age.
"Indeed, I believe these lands are fit for a future ruler like yourself," She teased, perhaps more excited than the prince to see his ruling come not too far into the future.

Chura was indeed a cheetah that had great ambitions in his life, regardless of how young he was or how much his speech dwindled. He still didn't know how to use proper words very well, but he was learning, even if it was a slow process. Just a month or two ago, he only knew some rather basic words, and could barely hold conversations with others. Now though, after having reunited with his beautiful mother, his vocabulary had greatly improved, and he used new and exciting words when ever he simply got the chance to.
"Will I be good ruler, Mother?", he asked, leaving out a word, but getting the gist of the sentence down fairly well regardless. "I want make you proud." He turned his golden gaze over to the white cheetah that was next to him, his eyes full of hope, wondering what his mother would respond with.

When Chura spoke and asked his mother whether or not he would be a good ruler, Aailyah could only beam for a moment. It was as though his sentences appeared perfect in her ears. It was clear that he had improved and was truly trying to learn the language most of the savannah spoke to one another. Unable to correct him and simply proud of his effort and improvement, the mother leaned down and nuzzled her son affectionately.
Pulling back, Aailyah then looked out towards the Duma'Chama lands before responding. "I do not only believe so, Chura, but I know so. I have seen you many times in my visions and everything surrounding your image is positive and good. I b-" And pausing for a moment, Aailyah let a light laugh and then changed her sentence, "I think you'll do great, son."
I believe in you, was what the mother wished to say, putting her faith and hope on the small cub to achieve her goals with the coalition and for their kind.
Aailyah worried at times that she put too much on the small cub. How difficult would it be to live up to predestined visions that you knew only the descriptions of?

The little cheetah cub himself took a turn at beaming, a wide and very confident smile set on his face. He loved to hear the words of wisdom that came from his mother's mouth. She always seemed to know what to say, and just how to say it as well. Her words were like that of an angel's... So soft and musical, yet so strong and full of absolute confidence! Chura really hoped to be like his mother one day, and to be respected by all.
"Thank you...", he responded back to her, nuzzling her leg in affection. His golden orbs looked up at her, seeming to smile as well, dancing with anticipation for his upcoming leadership amongst the small gathering of cheetahs that these lands had already acquired. He figured it be fun! His mother seemed to enjoy what she did, and she was the leader right now. So, when he took over for her, it was probably going to be even better! Chura wiggled some as his mind filled with such silly and exciting thoughts, purring into his mother's pure white fur.
"Mother. Will you... Teach Chura how to be... Be.. Good ruler? Like you?"

Even with the knowledge of a seer, simply watching her son could not tell her exactly what he was thinking or why he seemed to have a pleasant smile on his face. While he nuzzled into her leg affectionately, Aailyah continued to smile and imagine all the thoughts floating through the cub's mind.
When he spoke, Aailyah turned her head as though to get a better look at him. A good ruler? Aailyah repeated in her mind. Like me? The cheetah almost let out a light laugh at the thought, but understood that she did not show her weaknesses to her son.
Realising she hadn't quite answered him yet, Aailyah nodded and began to respond. "Chura, I can teach you all that I know, but to be a good ruler... That cannot be taught. It must come from within you." Aailyah paused for a moment and looked her son over. She knew he was still young, but intelligent and hoped that he understood what she meant. "But I believe that you have what it takes inside you."

Chura nodded his head some, but looked a little confused. Within him? How could something come from inside of himself? Was it like... A growth or something? Or maybe like fur! Still, he wasn't quite sure what his mother meant, so naturally, he had to clarify.
"Like... Fur? How can Chura look inside me?" He looked down at himself, looking for some sort of peephole or way to see what he may of looked like on the inside. He brought a black-tipped paw up to his eyes, looking at it closely. All he could see was lots and lots of green and black fur... Nothing that allowed him to actually peer inside of it. He started to get even more confused and looked up to his mother again, still holding his paw up. "There is no hole to look into."

By Chura's response, Aailyah had clearly tried to explain herself in words that were far older than her son's understanding. She had to constantly remind herself that despite his wise comments about the Duma'Chama, he was still a cub. Chura had shown an impressive understanding of things and a higher maturity level, but still language was something he was learning.
When the green cub began to look around himself in a very confused manner, Aailyah let out a very light laugh. "Oh, Chura." Her smile widened when her son explained that there was no hole to look into. Nuzzling her son, the proud mother shook her head happily, thinking of a way to explain herself. These were the joys of being a parent!
"Let me see if I can explain myself. When I said that I cannot teach you to become a ruler, I meant that I can teach you to hunt, to speak and to love, but I cannot show you what to do with those qualities. When someone asks you a question, you will have to answer it yourself. Nothing I teach you will answer your questions for you. I hope, that with my guidance, they can help you."

His ears twitched and his paw set itself back down on the ground, his golden orbs concentrating on the wise words his mother spoke now. What she had said the first time had confused him. This was true. However, all he had to say or do was look confused, and she was always happy to oblige and further explain what she had meant. This was one of the many reasons in which he loved his mother, and treasured her so.
"So... Chura will have to be big boy and learn from mother? Then... Chura will have to do it all himself? Can Chura do that?" He did not have all the belief in himself as his mother did, but he believed the words she spoke and made sure to follow her guidelines always. She had been nothing more than a saint to him, and he would be sure to repay the favor to her again some day. She deserved no less than that.

When Chura retold Aailyah what she had said to him, the white cheetah nodded slowly. "Yes, Chura. You will need to do things yourself. Though I will never be far from you and I will always be happy to help you if ever you need me." Leaning forward, Aailyah offered a very comforting, warm nuzzle to her son. He was managing a rather large conversation and she was very proud of him.
Pulling back and still looking over him, her smile widened. "You are my son, Chura and I could never leave you. I know that what I am saying now may sound scarey at first, but have faith in yourself. I believe that you can do everything you wish to."
Once again, the winged cheetah knew that the depth behind her words was enough to confuse the poor cub, but something about him truly inspired her. He understood so much already and she tested this at times to see how far his mind could really go. He was a brilliant young boy.

Chura couldn't help but to purr in affection towards the larger white cheetah. He nuzzled her back, sometimes wishing that the affection that the two carried for each other would never end. He believed very highly that no other mother and son within the African borders had a relationship as they did. Theirs was so strong and flamboyant that nothing could ever put it's bright flame out.
"Chura... I believe too." He watched his mother closely, observing her movements and how she spoke to him. He never saw her speak like that to anyone else, so the young cheetah just knew he had to be special. "I.... I love you... Mother...", he managed to get out, his speech steadily getting better with each and every day in passing.

Aailyah was glad to hear Chura's gentle purr at her words. While she worried that he did not understand her words, it did not matter. Her son understood everything that she was saying, if not by her speech, by the manner in which she spoke and the way she addressed him. With a warm smile, Aailyah continued to watch her son with pride.
While Chura responded, the large white female listened carefully, nodding and smiling encouragingly. He was doing so well and she wanted him to know that! When she believed he had finished, she returned her gaze to the coalition lands, surprised to see Chura was continuing in a timid stutter. While words were not needed to express to Aailyah how much her son truly loved her, she could not tire from hearing them out loud.
Looking to Chura, Aailyah smiled even more broadly than before, unable to hold back the happy tears from her eyes. Chura was her miracle cub, the single one she had raised properly and the only one who loved her despite her flaws. Offering yet another loving nuzzle, the mother affectionately whispered to her son, "I love you too, Chura."
