Mkia marched on, leading herself and her new friend along their path... across a very wide feild in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. But she was finding her way. And she was just glad that she wasn't alone, as she had feared she would be, in her journey to go stronger.
But now she was doing something much more important. She was helping Chukua find his mother. And really, her own fears and problems seemed so insignificant beside that. She was happy though, happy that she could help him.
And really... she wanted to learn more about him. He had been through so much, and knew so much more than she did. He had been around the world, and that was awesome. And her life had only been more interesting since she met him!
"Come on Chukua! I swear, there's probably something over this hill!" Which she had said over the last three hills as well. All the hills did get annoying after a while.

He couldn't believe how much energy she had. She had offered to come help him, and who was he to deny her company. They had been traveling for hours, and his paws were starting to hurt from all of the hills. He wasn't used to the hills and they were starting to take a toll on him.
"Mkia, are you sure about this?" He asked as he sat down for a moment to wipe his forehead. "We've been been walking in this direction forever, and there's nothing around." He said with a chuckle. He couldn't help but laugh at her energy.

Mkia stopped running and sighed, looking down, but smiling, "Sorry... I'm just so... excited about this, I guess. I've never been anywhere before. But I must have tired you out." She smiled, sitting down and catching her breath.
She was reluctant to admit how tired she was. And it was getting late too.. "Maybe we should just try and find a place to sleep...? I don't know... You know more about this traveling than I do." She grinned at him, rolling backwards towards him down the hill.

"Yeah, that'd be great." he laughed lightly, "Besides, it's getting late and the sun's starting to go down." He said as he waited for her to meet back with him. She was so lively, so carefree. Like the little sister he never had.
He stood up and looked around to see if he could find somewhere for them to stay the night. Thankfully not too far off, a lonely tree stood near a small bed of water. Corse it only looked like rain water, but it would still help them through the night.
"Over here Mkia!" He said as he turned back to her, "I found a place for us to stay."

Mkia grinned, glad that Chukua was better at spotting things than she was. She really had no idea what she was doing, so it was nice to have someone who would show her how. Chukua was so much like a brother to her... it was wierd. She had a brother, but he was nothing like this. More of a joker, CHukua actually knew about the world.
"Excellent!" She declared, happily trotting up beside her new friend, "We can stay here! It'll be fun! Like a... like a stake out." What they were staking out, she had no idea. But that's what it was like.

He laughed lightly and turned his head so he could see her with his good eye. He let her lie down first, letting her have the spot she favored. He walked over to the water and lapped at it, dipping a paw in it to rub at his ear.
The day had been hot, and he was glad the sun was starting to set. He looked back to Mkia, and lie down next to her, glad to be off his paws. "Man, their throbbing." He said as he looked down to his paws and chuckled a little.
"Maybe we should keep you up tonight." He laughed. "That way you won't have as much energy tomorrow."

"I'm so excited I couldn't sleep if I wanted too!" Mkia announced, clearly not quite done with her abundance of energy. Though she did lie down, turn around on her back and stare straight up at the darkening sky.
"I mean... come on, look at where we are! The middle of nowhere! All on our own! We own the entire area! Everywhere we see!" She said, looking right up. "We could own the sky if we wanted too! No one could stop us!"
She flattened out a little, "I wonder if our parents can see it... the sky like this. I bet they can. Brothers and sisters too... do you have any? Siblings? I have two. A brother and a sister."

Chukua listened to her with wide eyes. How could someone talk so much, and so fast? He blinked a few times before he reached up a paw and placed it on her maw. "Mkia, you talk too much." He said with a bright smile, and a slight chuckle.
He flopped over next to her and looked up to the sky. "Nah," He said as he looked at the clear blue sky, "I was an only child. But I've always wanted a big family."

Mkia smiled a little and blushed on the comment that she talked too much, "Sorry... I don't mean too. I just get excited sometimes." She stared off at the sky, and shook her head, "I just... this is excellent."
She rolled over and looked at him, grinning, "You should make your own family then. Find someone pretty and have pretty babies! That's what my parents did." She stared up once more, "I bet I could be your little sister!"

He looked over to her and smiled lightly, "Hehe, yeah I can see that." he said. He thought about what kind of cubs he would have, and what kind of a father he would be. He never had a father to teach and show him how to be a parent and he was a little apprehensive about the whole ordeal.
Mkia's next comment made him smile lightly, "Yeah, you definitely could be." That made him a little more comfortable. If he ever had trouble, he could always get help from her. She had two parents and siblings. She knew exactly how a family should act.

"I can too. You'd be such a cool dad." Mkia announced, seeming quite pleased with the idea, "I wonder what kind of mom I'd be... probably clingy and annoying. But I'd never get tired." She smiled a little, "Well... maybe I can just babysit your kids. After all, I'm your little sister now."
She was happy with that idea... another brother, someone she could travel with. Someone who knew more about the world than her own family had... and someone who could teach her more about it. How could she not love that idea? "I bet I'd be a good babysitter... I wouldn't be able to take my eyes off the kids, literally. I'd freak!"

He smiled and stretched. "I'm sure you'll do fine." He smiled and yawned lightly. "Just don't spoil them." He chuckled lightly and curled up. The days travels were starting to get to him, and he was about to pass out from exhaustion. "You should get some sleep Mkia if we want to get a head start tomorrow." He said as he finally let his eyes close.

"Right... right... sleep..." Mkia mumbled, closing her eyes and lying down face-first, "Yeah... sleep..." She mumbled, closing her eyes. Then she started to bounce up and down, letting him sleep, but remaining awake. And she would remain awake. For several more hours. Until she finally managed to pass out... and even then, she dreamed. Her newly declared 'brother' was still there when she woke up. It was a nice dream... one she was happy to find was a reality.
