She should be worried he would go back on his word.
In fact, she should have booted him out of her home earlier.
Yet again though, her better nature went against it.
Besides, if worst came to worst, she knew she could take him.
She had already proved that.
Oh she bet he was smoldering, his jaw aching as much as his pride was.
Good.
He earned it.

On the way up to the meadow, the woman had grabbed some food and a small blanket from one of the smaller stores in the area using the money Sky had sent with them.
The woman who she had never seen.

The package had been waiting for her where the letter had said it would be though, so she didn't need to question her benefactor.

The food had been wrapped up in a nice package, much like a large bento box, and given to her in the store while her companion sulked in the doorway.
She had polity thanked the man, and walked out after paying.

The store keep had even included a few candles and commented with a wink on how lovely the moon would be tonight, and wouldn't it be nice if the two of them could watch it and the stars?

The candles would be put to better use in the cave most likely....

Krisha stopped her inner thoughts and laid the blanket out on the hill top in the meadow.
There was a more than decent view here...

The woman sat down the package and began unwrapping it, relieving a large pizza along with a side or two of bread sticks and marinara.
If she had to eat with him, she might as well have her favorite.
On the edge of the small box that it was all in sat two bottles of water, which she took out and sat down.

"Sit."
Krisha said.
Might as well get it over with.

The two had left the glade in silence, the walk over was just as quiet as their departure. Krisha most likely didn't want to give Shah the light of day which was, perhaps, the reason why she ignored him. Shah on the other hand was dealing with his aching tongue and jaw. He hadn't expected a head butt, he hadn't seen someone give another a head butt in a long time. Shah had never been head butted before in his life and now he made it a priority to never get another one again. Or at least not get one to the jaw. He rubbed the area that had been hit subconsciously as he continuously ran his tongue around his mouth to keep it from growing numb.

Krisha stopped off to buy some food along the way to the meadow, this was a good thing because Shah wasn't too hyped up to pay, Such a bum! It wasn't that he wouldn't pay, it was more a long the lines that he wasn't made of money. That little fact angered Shah, not only had he been homeless but he was also poor. Shah' smooth talking and acting could easily get some food in his stomach and a place to stay for a day or two as it had done today (though I doubt it was his smooth talking that got him this). But gaining money was a nasty trick to achieve, he'd done it plenty times before but the effort wasn't fun like the the effort he put into other things.

Shah waited in the door way as she retrieved the food, catching the store keep giving a wink and handing Krisha a few candles. A small smirk tugged at his lips but he kept it hidden. As the two reached the top of the meadow Shah stared at the scene. It was decent if not nice. Shah didn't care too much about it, he was more interested with Krisha.

As she ordered him to sit Shah did as he was told. "Yes, my lady." Shah said dropping to his knees gently with a smile on his face. He picked up a slice of pizza and handed it to Krisha before taking one of his own. "So," he started, taking a quick bite, chewing and swallowing quickly. "Mind telling me a little about yourself." He asked. Might as well start off some where. Plus Shah was keeping it safe, he didn't want another head butt to the jaw.

"Not much to tell.
Kira's my twin.
Bet you didn't guess that. Our vases were made at the same exact time.
She just took a good bit longer coming out.
I have have three brothers, one adopted.
Two are in the same case Kira and I are, and are suppose to be twins as well.
The other is still in his vase.
I have another sister, and a 'guard' being sent to live with us as well"

That was her family. She knew that if she didn't answer, he would bug the hell out of her to know.
Didn't mean she was going to give him anything he could use though.
When it came to herself it was fairly simple.
"Since I know family wasn't exactly what you asked about, I enjoy reading, I have a photographic memory, a love of flowers, a taste for Italian food, and, as you can tell, am a good bit stronger than I look.
I also have good balance."

That was a fairly good amount.
Let him wonder about her history, her other likes and dislikes.
She didn't trust him near enough to tell him those yet.

"Et toi?"
She also wasn't going to tell him her benefactor demanded she know French.
PostPosted: Fri Jul 25, 2008 7:30 pm

Shah was slightly shocked that she had even bothered to answer but her responses were fair enough to have that shock slip away. It was brief, simple, things that he would learn the longer he hung around her. The little bit about her family was interesting though, it gave Shah something to look forward to and prepare for. Not that he would, he knew nothing about these people unless he asked Krisha but that wasn't what this little date was about. No sir, this date was about Krisha and getting to know who she is.

He made sure to remember what Krisha said next. She defiantly was stronger then she looked and from the little bit of action he had seen from Krisha proved the excellent balance part. Her love for Italian food matched why they were eating pizza and her love for reading and photographic memory made enough sense. Shah didn't know why Krisha loved flowers but he found this little bit to be very important. Very important indeed.

And then she swung a few words at him in...French? Shah had been taken back, it showed on his face and Shah mentally swore to himself for being caught off guard. Boost the pretty lady' ego some more, that wasn't in his best interest. Still, Shah placed a smile on his face. "You know, French is considered one of the most romantic languages around." Shah said, that hint in his eyes though he said no more. Shah took a quick sip from his water bottle, "As for me, there isn't much." He said, he debated if he should stop there but he was certain that Krisha would pester him to give a real answer. "I like to travel around, not a fan of staying in a place for too long. The main reason why I came around here." Shah laid back on the blanket. "I don't like children and insects, mostly blood sucking ones. They make things itch." He said with distaste as he took another bite from his pizza. All these things Krisha most likely already knew.

((So tired, my post are gonna be a little wonky. Dx ))

"Thats not telling me much I don't already know.
Why do you travel?
Do you have family?"

The blue haired woman asked as she took another piece of pizza.
If he was going to be living in her home, it would do good for her to know some stuff about him.

"You shouldn't have to worry about the bugs much.
As the rest arrive, they'll leave for a quieter place."

It was true, she wasn't overly fond of bugs either.
Speaking of blood suckers though...
He might want to watch out for Serre.

"French....Is required by the Madame.
I think she's originally from there, or spent alot of time there.
A step below countess, but above a minor lady.
Not a whore monger."

He would obviously jump to that conclusion.
Best to get it out of the way now.
It was interesting though, that he was being so well behaved.
Maybe he would stick to his word.
She could only hope his definition of 'today' didn't end at night fall.

Shah couldn't help but smile as Krisha caught him. He hadn't given her any information she couldn't have concluded from his arrival. Still he had hoped she had, Shah wasn't a fan of exposing his past. There was nothing there for anyone else to know. It was gone, over with, why bring it back up? So annoying, he wouldn't tell her. Not now, not ever. Or so Shah believed...

"I travel because no place is home and I'm bored easily." He said in between bites of his pizza, he stilled laid on his back. Staring up at the sky as he spoke, glancing to Krisha every now and then. "As for family." Shah hesitated slightly, thinking a little. "No. I have no family. Never did." He didn't leave any room for questions on that part. He had no family, that was it. Nothing more, nothing less; a one man show.

Shah pushed himself up into a sitting position as he drank from his water again. As he listened to Krisha speak Shah choked on his water. What was that last part? What had she said? He coughed and gasped a few times as his water shot out his mouth and nose. She knew him well enough already and Shah liked that. Still, the reason for his sudden water show wasn't because of that. No, no it wasn't. A smirk on his face but he said nothing. He wiped his nose and chin with his sleeve, his tail wagging back and forth a little too fast for comfort.

"So, does this Madame have a name?" He asked, his smirk not leaving.

It was very hard not to laugh aloud as she sputtered.
She had a habit of saying off key things, if only to see others reactions.
In cases like this, it was hard not be a bit smug after having rattled someone like that.
"Not one that you may know yet.
After all, a names a powerful thing.
I traded mine for yours,Kira and Sylas gave theirs willingly, but as she is not here to bargain with hers, I do not yet feel justified in giving it to you in her stead."

It wasn't her place after all, to give out her benefactors name to someone she barely knew.

No home then. Most people called the place they were born home...
"Have you ever stayed long enough to start to think of a place as home?
If you wait out the boring parts, most times interesting things take their place."

She was smart enough not to comment on his family, or lack there of.
Yet again, it wasn't her place.

Though the conversation had revealed little, it had served it's purpose for consuming time.
Tonight was the full moon, and the sun was nearly down.

PostPosted: Mon Aug 18, 2008 7:35 pm

Shah glanced at Krisha as he awaited her answer, he could tell that she was trying not to laugh at him. Had she planned this? To catch Shah off guard? Shah raised an eyebrow at her, perhaps. If so, Shah liked that. It would end up being an annoyance but Shah knew he could deal with it. Anything to get under the pretty ladies skirt...though Shah had a feeling she was wearing something underneath that considering her little trick from earlier. If so then Shah would deal with this personality trait just to get in her panties.

He heard her speak and he was pretty sure it had something to do with names but Shah didn't care too much about it. He finished his slice of pizza and snatched up another one. The first one hadn't done anything to his appetite, in all honesty he felt hungrier then before. Either way, Shah took a couple big bites out of his next slice and within a few seconds it was gone. He looked to Krisha once she was done speaking and nodded towards her in agreement....he had little idea of what he was agreeing to.

What she said next Shah paid attention to. True, perhaps if Shah stayed a little longer something might have happened, he doubted that it would have been something good. He smirked at that thought. "The two of us most likely have different definitions of interesting." Shah said as a response, his smirk not leaving as he said this. It was true, what Krisha dubbed as interesting was most likely completely different then what Shah considered interesting. Krisha would have found Shah's arrest and jail sentence (perhaps even a death sentence) interesting, and while Shah may have thought the same thing, he preferred his life rather then that interest.

Shah picked up another slice of pizza and began to eat it, though as he ate it he found it less and less appealing. By the fourth bite it was downright disgusting. He didn't feel like swallowing the chewed up ball of bread, tomato sauce and cheese. He let it sit there, on his tongue, oozing its grease and fat into his saliva as he stared at the slice of pizza in his hand in disgust. Forcefully, he swallowed the clump of food, making a face afterward. Why had this slice been so grotesque? The first two slices had been good, why did this one taste like a**? Not that Shah knew what a** tasted like, its just if anything he assumed it tasted like this. Shah dropped the slice back into the box reaching for another slice but he hesitated. There was a chance that this slice was just one in a million but then again perhaps it wasn't. Shah wasn't too sure if he could force himself to swallow a** again but he decided that he'd take the risk. He was, after all, still hungry.

Reaching into the box he peeled another slice away from its brethren. He took a smaller bit from this one then he had from his previous three. It was a good move because once he began to chew upon it a shiver of disgust ran down his spine. He spat it onto the grass on his side, growling at its disagreeable flavor. That growl sounding less then human.

Different definitions of interesting might be true, but still, he couldn't be that impatient.
Unless there were extenuating circumstances to it, he had to have stayed somewhere for a bit, right?

Though, considering the way he ate, maybe he couldn't afford to stay anywhere for so long.
Krisha was almost going to offer him the rest, seeing how hungry he was.
Almost.
The man stopped mid-bite, looking at the slice with disgust.
That did seem to strike her as a bit odd.
He had been scarfing it a few seconds ago.
"Are...you alright?"
She asked, slightly concerned.
Even though he hadn't made the most ideal first impression, if he was sick she'd still help him.

"Here, drink this, maybe it will help. I'll pack up the stuff up."

A pale hand handed him one of the water containers.
She didn't look to see if he'd taken it, but left it right beside him.
No, instead of waiting she began packing up the remaining pizza into the basket. Kira and Sylas could eat it once they got back.
Speaking of that, they would need to quickly.
Shah looked as though everything he'd eaten was about to come back up.

She didn't know much about werewolves, not even what times they took over, but something told he it might have something to do with that.

After she had everything packed, excepting the blanket he was still sitting on, she ventured the nerve to tap him lightly on the shoulder.
"Hey, come on now.
We have some medicine back home, maybe some of it will help settle your stomach."

She sounded every the concerned date, for the moment.
It wouldn't do any good if she was sarcastic and pushy right now.

Shah didn't realize the bottle of water Krisha placed besides him, he was too busy trying to keep his pizza down. The more he sat there the more he asked himself how he could have eaten three slices of it. The after taste of it poisoned his mouth and made his stomach turn without mercy. He sat there, staring at the grass in front of him with his free hand on his stomach while his other hand was placed flat on the ground a little behind him as a means to keep him sitting up straight. His right leg was out straight in front of him with his left bent underneath it. He looked ill and the longer he sat there, not moving, the worst he seemed.

Eventually he did move but it was only when Krisha lightly tapped him on the shoulder. That gentle tap set him off, turning to the side Shah let fly. He missed the blanket by an inch or two as he heaved up the three slices of pizza he had devoured just moments before. It was quick and rather silent but Shah felt like s**t. He was glad to get the food out of him but rather disappointed that he was now hungrier then before. He wiped his mouth with the corner of his sleeve as he grunted to himself. Krisha would most likely make a comment of this. His head felt unusually light and his body aloof. It was a familiar feeling but Shah couldn't put his finger on what it was. He couldn't focus, he felt intoxicated.

Shah moved off the blanket as he moved to stand up. He turned his head to look at Krisha and he froze. Her pale skin glowed in the moonlight as she stood there, staring at him with that concerned look. Her gray eyes looked like the moon itself as she looked at him. Shah mouth began to water, she looked delicious.

Pushing himself to his feet Shah swayed slightly but he moved over to Krisha easily. A devious smile laid on his face as his eyes flashed in the moonlight. "You're beautiful." He whispered to her as he pulled back a few strands of hair from her face. He could smell her blood as it gently pulsed through her veins. His fingers cherished the brief moment that they touched Krisha's skin. So soft, so smooth. He stared at Krisha for a few seconds before his smile turned to a sharp toothy grin. He grabbed Krisha by the arm roughly and shoved her to the ground.

He didn't hesitate, he pounced on top of her and made sure to pin her legs down nice and good. His tail wagged fiercely behind him as his eyes scanned over Krisha's beautiful body. She was a work of art, Shah couldn't wait to get a piece of it. Shah dropped his head into her breast, breathing in her scent before moving up to her collar bone and up her neck. His tongue trailed upwards from there. "You know, you're quiet a looker. It's been a while since I've had a pretty meal." He said to her in a taunting voice. Shah froze as a cold shiver ran up his spine. His head snapped to the side as a few unusual snaps and pops could be heard. He looked back to Krisha, his grip growing tighter as a low chuckle was emitted from his throat. Shah wouldn't remember what happened once this was over, he had intended to keep to his word but he had been too concerned with Krisha to remember what day it was. So foolish, how can one forgot something so important? Especially if his desired fling would most likely end up being his meal.

Krisha's first initial reaction to his sudden heaving was to step back slightly.
It wasn't that it grossed her out, it was just a natural reaction.
Of course, had she been able to see it in the dark, it would have been a bit harder to handle.

She was about to ask him if he felt well enough to walk, but as he stood and turned, her question died in her throat.
There was something wrong with his eyes.
Something bestial.

When she looked back on this, she would wonder why she hadn't been able to move.
She would wonder why she hadn't grabbed his hand when he touched her face.
For now though, for a few seconds, she was shocked still.
She hadn't thought he'd go back on their deal, she'd actually trusted him with that.
She hadn't yet registered that this had nothing to do with their deal.
This was entirely different.

Before she could even react to this situation though, she was on the ground.
Though taking a fall on your back is better than going head first for some, with her wings it gave a sharp jolt.
Though they'd flared out when she'd been thrown, she still had to arch her back to accommodate for them and keep the pain from fogging her mind.
When she had hit the ground, a small yelp-ish sound had escaped her lips.
She wouldn't give him the satisfaction of hearing anything else like that from her.

When he spoke next though was when the full force of her situation hit.
A pretty meal...

He had both her legs and arms pinned, so fighting back that was out.
Her wings were sprawled and she didn't have the room to move them.
In almost every sense she was defenseless.

She did know somethings about wolves though, from her brothers.
She knew to never show fear, because it was perceived as surrender.
So she fixed a glare on him and stared holes through him, because it was important for her face to not show anything of what was going on under it.

For the first time in a long time, she was afraid.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 19, 2008 5:05 pm

"No glaring." Shah whispered to her as he drew his voice closer to her's, his breath smelling like pizza and bile. "It causes wrinkles." He licked the side of her face, such a sweet taste. Shah shook his head, forcing the hair covering his face to drop behind his shoulders. He licked his lips once and stared at Krisha's throat, it's always best to go for the throat. Shah dropped his head down fast, quick and easy was how he liked it. Before the poor girl got to scream.

Sadly he wasn't quick enough. There was the soft thud of a drawn string and then the sound of air being broken. Within seconds, as Shah's head hovered an inch above Krisha's pale throat, an arrow shot out from amongst the trees. Nailing Shah in the shoulder, the arrow pierced the skin and hit the bone of his left shoulder blade. Shah released Krisha's right arm as that arm snapped up and gripped his injury. There was another soft thud of a drawn spring but Shah was ready this time. Shah shot away from Krisha, releasing her completely and jumping a distance away. He growled in the direction in which the arrows came, he could smell her. A vampire.

"I assumed better from you Krisha." A voice said as a thin figure appeared from the forest around them. A sassy red haired, woman wearing a red and black dress with matching boots approached Krisha. A red and black bow was held at the ready, aimed well for Shah. From the determined look on her face one was positive that she wouldn't miss her mark.

Shah growled at her, he was hunched over on the ground, his legs bent while his injured arm laid against the grass, his free hand held his shoulder as blood seeped down his arm and through his cloth. Bleaching the grass below a bloody red. Serre exhaled sharply out of her nostrils. She pulled the arrow back even further tightening the string. "Don't move wolf." She warned. There was a similar look in the pairs eyes. The look to kill.

"And I assumed you would know that a situation is never how it appears on the surface.
After all, didn't you teach me that?"

Never show fear. That rule doubled around the family gaurd.
It wasn't tolerated.

Anger, as long as it was deserved, however, was.
That wolf....
She wouldn't let Serre have the satisfaction of taking him out.
A part of her knew that it had to do with the werewolf part, that he would never do anything like that had he been human.
The other part though, that part was furious at him, no matter what he was.

Neither of those two sides could get a good hold over her mindset for now, no they simply warred with each other in her head.
There had to be some way to appease both....

Krisha's eyes stared around the meadow, looking for something close enough to use as a blunt force weapon.
A small grin formed upon her face, sadistic in it's look as she spotted what she needed.
A medium size rock, almost completely out of the ground.
It had a few sharp points that would hurt, which was good, but wouldn't kill him.
Which would seem good in the morning.

A small hand pulled it from it's grassy resting place and held it, testing it's weight.
It was good that he was so focused on Serre for the moment.
It gave her the time she needed.
Krisha tightened her grip on the stone, took aim, and pulled arm back to the side.
She angled her body so that when she threw it, it would have enough force behind it.

With as much strength as she could muster, she pushed her arm and body forward and let it fly, waiting for the satisfying thwack that should follow.

Shah didn't like where this was going. He didn't like it one bit. Two against one was never a good thing, especially if one was carrying a weapon and had already showed a pretty good aim. He had been so close too!! So close to have a pretty dinner! He was angry now, angry at this woman for interfering and making him lose his dinner. Perhaps he'd be able to get her back. Take out the woman with the bow and it should be fairly easy to get Krisha back. No, that was wrong. Krisha had been caught off guard before, it'd take a pretty good trick to catch her off guard again.

"Hey wolf!!" Serre called out, causing Shah to snap back into alertness. What an amateur, he had allowed his mind to wonder in the middle of a fight. Serre itched to send another arrow through the wolf's arm but she knew Krisha would not approve. "Heads up." She said flatly, lowering her arrow.

Shah was slightly confused by what she had said, she hadn't released her arrow. He glanced up too late to see a decent sized rock fly towards him, striking him hard on side of the head and knocking him to the ground, out cold.

Serre scoffed at Shah as she slung the bow over her shoulder and turned to Krisha. "Dare I ask why you're spending time with such a fool?" She asked. So quickly to judge but Serre knew things. She could read people like a book by the way they handled themselves in a fight. Odd? Perhaps. But it helped a ton during the fight and afterward.

She almost snickered at serre's goading.
Almost.
"It is in the fools that wisdom is found.
We come into this world knowing nothing.
Some just stay that way longer than others."

Serre might be able to read people but she had always had trouble with those closest.
After all, she had yet to realize the real reason Jin went through her 'training', nor the reasons why she acted the way she did.
It was a family trait, seemingly set by their most enigmatic member, the one she had originally been 'made' to protect.

She had never been to keen on Serre's protection, though it had come in handy.
She had been raised to believe she could take on anything or anyone, and though she knew that it wasn't necessarily true, she liked to believe it was so.
After all, a person became incredibly clear-minded when adrenaline kicked in.

"You do realize that it would be incredibly moronic for him to be taken back to my current abode in his current..condition, no?
Letting him roam free out here...That would be equally foolish as well though."

So what do do in this situation?
They needed to detain him, until this wore off, but how?

A spark of inspiration hit her, one that satisfied both the current need and the thirst for payback.
"Serre...
Head to town near here.
Find small chains of silver and large ones of iron, anywhere you can.
We will pay the proprietors in the morn."

The silver would be enough to hold the wolf, the iron the man.
It wouldn't take Serre long, not more than a half an hour.
The blow had seemed to be enough to keep him out till then.
Even if not, she wouldn't be caught unaware again.
