Taylor York is Paramore's rhythm guitarist, though he isn't officially a member of the band, but you see him playing on live shows.
there he is on the far left. ;D
& don't worry. don't feel so stupid about it. we all figure out things sooner or later by simply asking.

I'm so glad you asked! because i really felt stupid for not knowing! but I noticed taylor was there when i was watching paramore live perfomances on youtube and wondered the same thing. but i'm wondering why isn't he part of the band if he plays with them? And does he also play in the songs as well?? Thank you for asking!!

Alex-The-Riot but i'm wondering why isn't he part of the band if he plays with them? And does he also play in the songs as well?? I believe that in the recording of Riot, Josh recorded both the rhythm and lead guitar. I don't recall Taylor contributing to any of the songwriting either, so I guess that's why he's only a touring member.

I think that Taylor is there as another back up guitarist
that's me personally, but I think he also contributes to the rhythm as well

I love him, he's a sweetie.

Personally I don't think he gets enough credit.
I remember when they played in Henderson last month I noticed a lot of the time Josh was just standing there while Taylor was in the corner playing his heart out.

Taylor was actually just a friend on the sidelines...
They felt that after touring with the band so long, and the fact that he was a pretty good writer (he wrote some songs on All We Know is Falling) was a great enough reason to make him part of the band.
I thought it was one of the best choices the band could've ever made. I mean, sure - Hunter was hot, but... Taylor's really funny.
