My husband is interested in making a fan comic retelling myths. Does anyone have any good ones that would adapt well to superheros? Let me know!

Well, I can't think of any specifically that haven't been done to death. But I can tell you generally that Aztec/Mayan ones are the bloodiest and darkest, Greek ones are most humanistic, Norse ones are the most used for heroic archetypes, Native American ones for morals, laughs or both.
If I think of anything more specific, I'll post it later. xd

Greek ones are the ones I find most interesting.
I don't really know any other myths though >.< Sorry.

Well, I think that australian gods are the most uncommon xDD and maybe also Indian gods...
I think that it depends on which category of comic he would made @@ and MOST depends on the style he uses D:
(The Norse/Celtic ones are more "superheroes-like" as much as Egyptian ones D: )

Thanks Nienna! I'm sure he'll find that info useful!
Thanks Moon. Yeah, we're kinda stuck with that too.
Anubis, I know nothing about the Australian gods. I'll look into them. Egyptian ones..lol I get it. I'll have him look into that as well.
Also, sorry for the late reply. I've been spreading myself too thin lately. sweatdrop

Egyptian myths could be very good, the betrayal and drama between the gods (who all happen to be siblings) could make an interesting story.
