No, Nintendo is pretty lame about going online. There are two different codes that one can give out. Their Wii code, and their "Brawl" code.
A wii code links you to your Wii, and you can send messages to your friends and such.
A Brawl code is the code you give out to register your friends Via Brawl and it gives out no personal information.
Nintendo online is pretty much "Sit down, shut the hell up, and no looking."
