I don't think we're going to have abortion for a long time, because this implies that it will someday stop. It's never going to stop. You know that whole one baby policy that some countries have? That's their way of controlling the population. Our government's way of controlling the population is lying to us about how they run business and then helping us abort our children.
Also, for as long as there are people who dont want to get pregnant but do anyways, there will be abortion, even if it's illegal.

cheer - yeah it's pretty pathetic when you think about it. I have a pamphlet on abortion as genocide, and it mos def is. People just don't want to admit it because if they did, then they'd have to stop. And like I said to angelic blur, our government doesn't even want it to stop - how much more the people of our country? When it comes right down to it, we make the deicisions, we ARE the government. We could stop abortion right now, if we wanted to.

Did you know that my sisters went to a rally against abortion outside of an abortion clinic? They had to move across the street or the cops would come. So my mom went and just started talking to the clients there that were going to get an abortion, they weren't listening, so my foster sister at the time started talking with my mom about the procedures, what actually happens to the baby when you abort it, and the fact that the baby CAN feel it (quite contrary to what the abortionists will tell you, they lie about almost everything). This guy was listening in on their conversation, went into a room, and dragged his girlfriend out of the clinic by the wrist.
It felt good that at least one abortion that was supposed to happen that day didn't.

Course the receptionist at the front desk asked my foster sister and my mom to leave the premises before she called the police.
I dunno about there, but here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada...you can actually go to jail for a couple days for going into abortion clincs and simply telling people the truth.

Well, I didn't say that she IS disgusting. I think what she did is disgusting. And yes, I find abortion an imature thing; everyone's entitled to their opinion, right?
Also it's a selfish thing. I agree with Mother Teresa when she said that it's a poverty to kill a child just so you can do what you want.

I think you missed the whole point of my post. You said everyone is entitled to their own self mutilation, yet their not. I'd get thrown in a loony bin for cutting off my limbs. Wanna know how I know this to be true? Because I have many friends who have been sent to psychiatric hospitals to be monitored because they cut themselves, nevermind the fact of cutting your entire arm off.

I'm sorry to break it to you, but people don't just dismiss things they don't want in life by killing it. That's why people go to jail for murder.

Also, the baby IS a fetus and CAN feel what you're doing to it, abortionists simply lie about it. If you go into a clinic and ask them about your baby, they'll tell you exactly what you want to hear. If you see a doctor that doesn't preform abortions, he/she will tell you that it's a living thing that feels, thinks, moves, etc. Also, it has every genetic that babies have - "to be technical" you ARE killing a human, it's just not come out of the woman's body yet.
