t5 = 22 more healing than the amice
Amice = 7 spirit, 1 int, and 12 more stamina
t5 is prolly better :p

Halrenna Wait for the T6 shoulders. smile They are far superior to the Amice and a major upgrade from the T5 shoulders.
Depending on her raiding situation it might not be possible for her to get the t6 shoulders.
Durrrr, of course t6 is gonna be an upgrade from t5.

I actually got the Amice before the T5. lol T4 -> Amice -> T5. (well, I have both in my bags now)
We don't even do SSC/TK anymore, due to poor summer attendance, so we do first 4 bosses in hyjal and up to Akama in BT.
It's just when I rolled (dkp) on the T5, i get a lot of whispers saying it is not an upgrade from the amice since it's item level 133, down from 141. :s

You also need to look at the gem slots. You can pretty much make them as strong or as weak as you want to fill the slots either for the bonus or for straight +heal which is what 90% of the priests on my server do. (I like most item bonuses so I'm not complaining.) Those can seriously make or break an item in terms of upgrade.

As a general rule, items with sockets > items with no sockets. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34195 , for example, are the weaker item out of the rogue offset pieces for sunwell compared to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31030 .

Some of the T6 offset items (the Leggings of Eternity, for example) are greater than the actual T6 pieces.
Also, she JUST said in her opening post that she's raiding BT/MH. Where T6 shoulders drop from. Even if they haven't done Mother Shahraz yet I'm sure they will and the wait it worth it.

if you gem the t5s theyre better..id put the ones that give 2mp5 and the healing so it will = to more healing and more mp5 in my opinion.
