Down shore from the bar is a long sandy beach where people can come take a swim or tan in the sun however there are sharks and other sea creatures out in the deeper waters. Most people who go venture out there are confident enough in their own power to be able to defend themselves agaisnt these creatues.

As Talos walked along the beach he would come upon Rook dragging a large net out into the water. It would seem rather unsensible to try and net fish in the shallows but Rook kept on walking all the way until he was no longer above water but under it. The scene would be rather strnage to most people.

Talos watched the scene for awhile then continues walking.

Rook recoiled for a moment at the sudden angered mermaid in front of him. They werent known for being territorial.
"and what gives you the right to turn away whomever you wish from an ocean so vast." Rook replied useing telepathy also.

Rook looks at the net and chuckles.
"And what makes you think you and your fish are safe even if i didnt have this? One of the things about magic few people understand is that when most of your life can be dealt with so easily it gives one more time to use the inferior methods such as useing this infernal thing to catch fish." Rook thought spoke and then moved onward past the mermaid. Catching fish was his excuse for the net where as he truly intended on soemthing much bigger.

Rook growled in frusteration.If you are so eager to see what I plane to do with this net then you are welcome to come along as long as to dont get in the way. He answered and dropped to the sea floor. Rook didnt have much more time before he would have to resurface and replenish his air supplie. Manipulating the oxygen in the water helped but it wouldnt last forever. walking along the sea floor Rook rounded a corner and found the entrance he was looking for. A large opening to an undersea cavern stood beofre him. He listened for sighns of life and then began to fasten the net's four corners to the sides of the entrance. Once that was done Rook stood back and began to go through variouse arm motions.

Rook's arms straightend. The index and middle finger of each extended. His right arm pulled back across hisest as if he were pulling an arrow. His left was extended toward the cave entrance. Rook had to be very careful of his movements when mixing three different elements. His right arm surged forward at the cave entrance releasing a streak of lightning that was contained by an air bubble around it so to avoid shocking everthing within a mile. The bolt shot throguh a hoel in the net and then down the cave. Rook raised the earth around him to propel him to the sirface where he took a large breath and came back down. As he came down a shriek came form the cave as a giant sea serphant came barrleing out, getting it's head cuaght in the net as it came. It still made it out of the cave but with the net on it's face. Rook manipulated the water to wrap the slack around the serphant's snout. It bucked and twisted and swung it's flewible body at Rook, knocking him away with it's large tail. steadying himself Rook drew his sword and began to strike the serphant. Finally the thing fell to the ocean floor, it was still alive but idnt seemt o be able to fight. Rook sheathed his sword and stood infront of the creature. He would need air soon, he went throguh some similar arm movments as before and arched his right arm toward the serphant as it raiseda section of it's body to push Rook's arm at himself. With the momentum and impossibility of Rook stopping his arm he could only whatch as his fingers made contact with his gut. The pain was unbearable as small streaks of lightning thrashed about the area,killing the serphant but at the same time filling Rook with all his own power. When the lightning ended. Rook could no longer maintain conciouseness and his vision faded to black. His body now dead weight, Rook did not float to the surface but stayed on the bottom. He was alive but in no real condition for movement.

Ashe floated there wide eyed at the creature. Everything happened so fast it was almost unreal. Seeing him pass out she sighed before swimming over and grabbing the back of his shirt and began swimming twords the surace. Reaching the top she pulled him to the beach and tossed him to the land not so gently. Her tail splashing the water irritadedly while she started to change into her human form dressed in her bikini walking over to him she kicking his side "Hey idiot wake up."
