There was blood everywhere! Not just in sight, but in smell too. White pelt was covered in the dark substance as he curled around a dark figure lying helplessly on the ground. It seems both of lion and klipspringer were both helpless in this situation.

"Lonny" He said tearfully, licking at wounds and pelt, making sure the female was still breathing. "Please hang on. I'll get you help. I promise!" He never left her side. Instead, the male gave a roar out, apologizing to the guide afterwards.

"Please, Someone help us!" He cried out. "ANYONE!" Never had this lion been so helpless.

Misri typically didn't respond to the roars of males he heard, usually because it meant they were either fighting, angry, or something along those lines. However, as he stood by the placid watering hole, his maw lapping up what he wanted of the crystal water, he was unnerved by the sound of the roar that met his ears. It sounded frantic, as if the caller was in need of dire help. He might have been more attuned to ladies and rescuing damsels in distress, but if there was something seriously wrong and he was needed, there was no way he could simply turn his back. He was a rogue, not a monster.

With a soft frown creasing his jaws, he departed the watering hole and headed for the area he was sure the roar had come from. The closer he got, the more obvious it became that there was someone there - and that someone was crying out frantically. It wasn't long before he came upon them, the lion and what looked to be a klipspringer lying curled against his body. He knew many felines took smaller creatures as companions, and being faced with the site of a lion in such a manner, he suspected that the little thing was nothing else.

"What happened?" he asked, a bit breathless from the sprint he had fallen into once he heard the frantic crying. He stopped, short of them both so as not to make the other male think he was a threat to the already harmed creature.

"Anyone?" The more the time passed, the more frantic and accepting he had become to the fact no one was coming. "Pleaase." He sniffed, keeping the darker body near him to keep her warm. At the sound of the other's approach, the brown splottched lion gazed his slightless eyes in the direction of the newcomer. It wasn't the same who made the massacre happen, but could he trust this other? The fact his guide couldn't warn him in appearance did not make himat all comfortable.

"He..He attacked her." He managed to get out, lifting himself to reveal the little deer, but sitting right near her so he could attempt to protect her if this other decided to attack. "Anothe..another lion. He almo..almost ki..kil..killed her!" He stuttered, still not believing the situation himself. But it had happened, the smell of blood reminded him of that.

He realized as soon as he was within the other's sights (or lack there of) that there was something else not quite right. After a few moments of staring at the vacant eyes of the other, watching as he turned his head to him but didn't really see him, it all became far too clear. He was blind. Misri had seen his fair share of blind creatures before, though most of the time they were in a pride where they could have the aid of their pride members. He supposed that was why he had a little companion - to guide him.

"I'm.. going to step closer so I can look at her, alright?" he asked slowly, softly. He didn't want the other one to attack him, and it seemed likely he might if spooked, given the predicament. He waited for a moment, then slowly took a few steps towards the crumpled Klipspringer. His eyes drifted down the wounds, trailing them, though he could still see her side moving. She was still alive, if badly hurt.

"Ok, uh," he said slowly, trying to think. He wasn't used to situations like this, where it was life or death, "I can.. lead you to the closest pride. They should have someone there that knows how to take care of wounds, most prides do, especially this one I think." He furrowed his brows as she tried to sort out the knowledge of all the prides he knew, though many jumbled together. He was sure there was a healer in this one, at least.. he was pretty sure.

Kipofu tensed as the other lion wanted to come closer. Normally, he wouldn't be to quick to judge, but after this...But what else could he do? Sniffling and not wanting to, the lion moved away slightly, keeping his ears open for any funny business, his body posistion remained tensed.

Nuzzling towards the herbivore, he gave her a lick of encouragement. Kip knew this wasn't a good sign. The dark blue female barely moved as the other lion came near. She would normally be at least a lion's length away, and ready to bolt if one stepped near her.

"A..a pride?" That meant more lions. That's really not what he wanted, but if someone could help Lonny then by all means! "Please!" He begged, his sightless eyes widening. "Lead me there!" With that, he grabbed the klip in his maw, the female squealing slightly, but relaxed momentarilly, before motioning the other that he would follow the sounds of his footsteps.

He had watched the way the lion reacted, knowing that he was obviously not too thrilled with him simply being this close to his little companion. Thus, as soon as he had seen what he had to of the little one, he stepped back away from them to let them have however much room they wanted.

"Yes, a pride," he said softly, turning to look in the direction he knew it lay. He knew that a little deer-like creature was not something one would normally expect a lion to take care of, but he knew this pride was kind. They would see that this lion needed his companion, needed her terribly by his guess, and they would help. He knew they would. "Alright, this way," he said, starting to move even as he talked, so that the lion would know which way he was headed by following his voice. Even then, his pace was slow, waiting for him to catch up.

"It's not too far, thankfully. You were very close to the border," he said, turning his back to look at him. He hoped he could get the little klippy there in time.

Kipofu would have spoken, but with the little guide hanging between life and death in his maw, he decided that probably wouldn’t have been such a wise idea. Instead, he nodded slightly to not ajar injuries as best he could, noting that the other male probably wouldn’t see him unless looking behind.

He wanted to know more. How had the other male known about this pride? Was he part of it? Kipo did not quite know where exactly he was, but from the feel of the ground, it was not the place he was born in.

The white male lion only hoped this other was telling the truth. He only hoped that someone on the inside could help him, help her. What else was he going to do? How was he going to get around? Just at the thought, Kip wanted to collapse. He lost his mother at a young age, now he might lose Lonny? Things just weren’t going up to par with him.

It was awkward for him, to say the least, as he attempted to lead the blind lion along as quickly as he could without losing him. It left him questioning his actions to say the least, hesitating on a good speed, but he pursued at the pace he guessed was best - judging by how quickly the blind lion moved along behind him. He also supposed that it was by sound that he could follow him the easiest, and if he wanted to make sure he didn't get lost, he should.. strike up some form of conversation, even if this wasn't a situation where one would expect someone to be particularly chatty.

"They're a very gentle and kind pride, so I don't think you'll have to worry very much about them taking care of her," he said, loud enough that he could hear him without have to turn his head all the way over his shoulder to shout back. He did glance back, every few moments, just to make sure that he was following him alright. "They're very fair, not harsh, and they've been so kind as to let me sleep within their borders for a few nights. As long as you don't pose a threat, they're willing to lend a paw." He sounded like he was talking gibberish, even to himself, and inside he was cursing - this probably wasn't what he wanted to hear.

"I think I can see their borders coming closer, though, so it shouldn't be too much farther. If I can find you one of the guardians to take you into the pride, they should be able to take you to who.. she needs to see." He averted his gaze from the little one clamped between the other lion's jowls and looked ahead once more. He didn't expect an answer to any of this, but simply kept pushing onward.

Kipo listened carefully at the male's words. A kind pride was all he needed. One that was tolerant of the blind, and the type of guide he had chosen to lead him across the lands. He burned in his mind questions to ask the guide now, like...

How he came across this land?

But alas, those would have to wait until Lonny was in the paws of a healer. He nodded somewhat, knowing he wasn't a threat on the upcoming pride, and continued to follow at a little quicker pace.

Good, the borders were coming closer! He gave out a breath of relief. The dark body amidst his jaws was growing cooler, the pulse he could feel weakening. Oh, they just had to hurry! Hopefully this new lands was like his old one, where lions guards the borders for intruders. If not, he didn't know if Lonny could take the extra time in looking for a pridemember!

He wanted desperately to pick up his speed, to lope faster towards the border of the pride that loomed before him, but he knew that he wasn't the one carrying the little injured klipspringer and that getting himself there faster wouldn't help her at all. He forced himself to keep his hurried pace, forced himself not to rush, and threw a glance back over his shoulder to make sure that the rogue was keeping up.

"We're almost there, hurry," he called, unable to resist a small increase in speed, though as soon as he started, he immediately began to falter at the sight of th large tawny male that had emerged from a thin line of trees on this side of the lands. He recognized him, which was the only thing that made him keep going.

The bright red eyes of the male swept over the two rogues quickly approaching, his nose stinging with the smell of blood. It caused his face to tense, wondering if there had been trouble - when he noticed the injured deer creature clasped in the second lion's jaw. It took only moments to notice the strange way he moved, even following so quickly, and the panic on his face. Taabu sighed softly and turned his face towards the rogue he recognized (who could forget such a brightly colored lion, after all?)

"Is something wrong?" he didn't remember his name, but he did remember that face and coat, and that was enough for a welcome.

At the sound of the hurry, Kipo just wanted to sprint; however, he knew that would do more harm then good for the deer. He groaned slightly, 'please don't let it be too late' he thought to himself, his blind eyes scanning straight infront of him, looking into the void of nothing.

At the sound of the other, the male lion stopped, placed the dark klipspringer on the ground, nuzzled her gently, and moved forward. "She needs a healer. Anyone! A lion injured her!" He said quickly, staring just passed the lion from the pride. "Please tell me someone here knows the way of healing. Please!" He was begging. "I don't want her to die."

Taabu's eyes shifted from the brightly pelted lion to look instead at the one that approached him now, with the injured Klipspringer held in his jowls. As he lay her down against the earth, he took in the way he moved, the way he looked but seemed to be seeing nothing, quickly assessing the situation as best as he was capable. His mother had prepared him to face many things, but this wasn't exactly one he had had imagined. Still, the pleading tones in the other's voice reached his ears, and he couldn't deny the need in the other.

"Yes, yes, there is someone here that can help," he said quietly, nodding solemnly at the sight of the unmoving creature before them. She was very hurt. "Pick her up, quickly, and follow me," he said as he turned to look back at the rogue. He nodded, swiftly - an assurance that he was capable of taking over this situation. Then, he glanced back towards the other stranger. "This way," he called, even as he began to trot in the direction of his younger Uncle's den.

"Go on," Misri said as he glanced at Kipo, a deep breath forcing itself out of his lungs. He wasn't familiar enough with the pride to be welcome into the depths - the male here knew him, but did not feel comfortable with him being free too deep in the borders. He had no responsibility for these two, but he knew he would lurk until he was sure.. of the outcome. He dipped his head, though he knew the other wouldn't see, and waited as he watched after them.

Kip could feel the slight tension in the air. It was like no one here had seen a lion actually being nice to a klipspringer. Well, perhaps it wasn't a common sight to see...Ki could understand a little bit. Slightly. Okay, not really.

He sighed, he could tell the other male was observing the deer, and that still made him nervous. But once he had said someone could help him, he jumped, nodding to the male, before turning his head towards his feline guide.

"Thank You"

He told Misiri, before grabbing Lonny in his maw and following the other male quickly.
