HP doesn't make an operating system lol
I wouldn't say it's more fun but it's a lot more captivating when everything has so much detail.
Just look at how beautiful the Megathron is with all of it's lights placed just right and all the added polygons to make it more complex and realistic looking:

Also, if you have hardware that can run the advanced graphics client, the game will probably run smoother in that mode too, the original graphics client is highly inefficient since it is running on Shader Model 2.0, while the new client runs on Shader Model 3.0 and even 4.0, which I can't wait to try on my new card.
For instance, Shader Model 2.0 can only run 512 intructions per clock, which means how many things it can render in a single pass, while Shader Model 3.0 can render 65,536 in a single pass which is obviously much more efficient and as such, can generate more complex graphics easier. Shader Model 4.0 can theoretically run an unlimited amount in a single pass, but is limited by the amount of slots it has in place to actually render these in a single pass.
Shader Model 2.0 has 512 slots, Shader Model 3.0 has over 512(the number isn't specified), and Shader Model 4.0 has over 65,536 slots.
It's still pretty cool that you can play this on a Mac though. When they release a Linux client, that'll be cool because then you may possibly be able to play from a PS2, PS3, or XBox.
