[1] The quote/caption can be a subtext for the image, or can go in the actual speech bubble.
If there are several people in the photo, you can give them each a speech bubble/comment. For the actual original post image, I will only include one, for the sake of simplicity.
[2] Context is up to you!
It can be funny, serious, happy, or sad; you can make a joke, make political satire, do whatever you please. Try not to be too offensive, though.
[3] You can only submit once for the contest!
You can post as many captions per week as you like, but please pick one to be your actual entry. If you don't, I'll pick one for you from the bunch.
[4] We will have only ten entries per week, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Don't try to cheat this by editing your posts, either. I will be keeping an eye out to make sure that none of this is happening, mkay?
[5] The prize may change each week.
The prize is honestly probably going to be something small. For starters, you'll have your caption applied to the image and put on display in the post below in the Hall of Fame. Also, the caption writer who wins will get 500 gold out of my personal stash.
New images will be added on Tuesdays. Voting will last for one week.
Every Tuesday, I will put up a new image to be captioned. The captions offered for the last week will be put to a vote in the poll for the thread. The vote will last until the next week when a winner is declared and the new caption submissions are put up. In the event of a tie, there will be a vote-off; this vote-off will last two days, a which point the winner will be declared. If a tie is still present, I will decide the winner based on my personal opinion, and the new poll will be put up.
